Good service. A lot of unneeded emails

Consultation was easy and approval is fast. A lot of unneeded follow-up emails regarding answering my practitioner though. I have no unanswered questions yet I keep getting emails to respond.

I am currently taking estradiol but…

I am currently taking estradiol but wanted to change my patch from a weekly patch to bi- weekly. My dosage is .75. I went through the whole process only to find that they will only dose to .5. This doesn't take into consideration the individual needs of women and once again is another " cookie cutter" response to women's needs.
I'm lucky, I can go back to my Obgyn- it will just take time because she is so busy. I thought Felix could could cut the time down. Useless

The practitioners on our platform prescribe within recommended dosing guidelines and the doses we're able to safely monitor through an online service, and for hormone therapy like estradiol, a higher dose generally calls for the kind of close, sometimes in-person monitoring that a virtual service isn't always able to provide. That's why the prescription here was limited to 0.5 rather than the 0.75 you've been on; it's a safety boundary tied to how we're able to monitor, not a judgment that your dose is wrong for you.

For a dose that needs that closer oversight, continuing with your OBGYN may genuinely be the better-suited fit, and I understand the wait for their appointment is the last thing you were hoping for. If it would help, I can ask one of our practitioners to take another look at your file and talk through any options we're able to offer safely in the meantime, so you're not left without a path forward.
