Company is dissolved - fake website
Pretty sure this is a fake website for phishing or stealing card details. They are based at the same address as Wilkes and Otis which are a non-existent book company which I have previously reported. Exactly the same as Wilkes and Otis, they have numerous brilliant reviews, then nothing and then loads of bad ones.
I’ve just looked up Fern and Grey on Companies House and the business was dissolved in April ‘19, so no, you will not receive anything / the website is a front so cancel your cards.
Order no show and no communication
After placing an order for a Christmas present on the 1st December, I still have not received anything and had absolutely zero communication from the company despite emailing on 3 separate occasions. I have now asked for a refund seeing as Christmas has come and gone but I don’t suppose that will come easily either, if at all based on the complete non communication thus far. This is completely unacceptable customer service and suffice to say I will never order from them again.
order cancelled with no good reason
ordered a cocktail chair after emailing back and forth - was informed there are multiple chairs remaining at the time of ordering, however my order was cancelled a few weeks later due to "stock issues". No response on emails since. No answer to phone either.
very disappointing.
Very poor.
Very poor service. I ordered a cushion in their sale with a 2 week dispatch time. After 3 weeks I queried the delay and was promised an update. After 4 weeks no update had been provided and so I cancelled my order and requested a refund. Don’t order from here if you expect to receive your product.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service.
very poor contact throughout - been waiting for two and a half months for the product with dates being constantly pushed back.
No emails to apologise or explain delay. I have had to initiate all contact
They have now stopped replying to emails.
Not worth it.

I was given 24 hours notice of a delivery date when I was out of the country in a remote part of the world. The 'change date' option was very inflexible. Had I been in the UK, I would still have needed to take a day off work and would have needed much more that 24 hours notice. Luckily my neighbour was able to accept my delivery. However, the communications from Fern & Grey and their delivery contractors were very poor.
Great service and great product!
Really great service from Fern & Grey, Hannah kept me informed with updates regarding by my order and delivery and made it super easy to get in contact with her if I had any questions. They are a great small company with great products and I would definitely recommend them in the future!
Terrible
Terrible - for an 'up and coming' brand I expected a good experience.
My chair was 2 months overdue and then they didn't inform me of when delivery would happen, despite me emailing, until 20-40 minutes before it was delivered.
My chair was just left in a neighbours garden...

Colour misdescribed or incorrect chair delivered?
The Chair I ordered is great quality but not the colour shown in the photo. It is not an ink colour more a dusky green. A number of visitors to my home can see the problem and we have put the chair in different rooms, in different lights and against different colours. So either I was sent incorrect chair or the advertising is not representing the correct colour. This is very disappointing. I have tried to photograph the chair to capture the colour but doing this is very difficult, if not impossible. Anyway be wary of going on fern and grey’s photos and colour descriptions.

Excellent communication and support
Excellent communication and support. A very switched on retailer.

I ordered the Lula cocktail chair in September as a birthday gift. Although the product had a 12 week dispatch it was delayed by a further 23 weeks and didn't arrive until mid January. I was not notified of any changes to my order and I had to chase up the company by email. I called on several occasions and was informed someone would return my call but never did. The customer service was appalling. Even the website where you can log in to track your order did not work properly and whenever I checked the status just said "processing" with no further information. The company offered no compensation for their mistakes and could not even offer me a guaranteed delivery time so that I could arrange for someone to receive the chair when it eventually arrived. I do love the chair, however I would never order from Fern and Grey again and will certainly not recommend.

Great service - fast and efficient. Stools are lovely and a great price too.
Beautiful chair
Beautiful chair, shorter than expected but that’s my fault for not reading specifications properly. Quite a long wait for despatch but worth it. Very comfortable and stylish.
