Fake Sweepstakes Points

So just yesterday I was awarded 200000 points for a sweepstakes. Then it was taken away because ooops that was a mistake. Pretty crappy way to do business.

I’ve used Fetch for years now

I’ve used Fetch for years now, but yesterday I received an email stating I won 200,000 points in a sweepstakes, so to say I was excited is an understatement. But this morning I woke up to all the points gone and the rewards I ordered were cancelled. I’m devastated, and when I try to contact customer service/support, I get no response. I’m so upset. Oh I just got an email with 250 points and an apology for a glitch in their sweepstakes. Nope, deleting as soon as I get the rewards for the current points I have. What a rip off app!!

Sweepstakes Went Awry?

Sweepstakes Went Awry? That’s what I got from contacting support after receiving an email from them saying I won 200,000 points on a Sweepstakes. I thought wow how cool! I checked the app and sure enough it was in my account, only for a few hours! I went back to scan a receipt maybe 4 hrs later and those points just disappeared! I was confused and contacted support even screenshots of the awarded points attached to the email. The next day I received I looked in the app and saw 250 points added that stated Support Award? I emailed them back and asked what was the deal, no explanation just took away 200k of points and give me 90% less with no explanation? 2 hrs later I got an email saying Oopps here is 250 points for a sweepstake that went awry? Their fault and they should have honored that mistake! Too many other cash back apps out there, time to ditch Fetch!

This app started out ok…Now

This app started out ok…Now, I can’t get any points for playing games! This has become a scam. It started that I couldn’t get points for Chewy, then one or two games. Now it won’t let me have any points for the games! I reached out to them and said I can’t get points for at least 20 games I’ve tried and they weren’t games I previously downloaded!!! I was told to just keep trying more games. Nothing else they can do for me. What a lie! Rip off! Shame….Shame….Shame….

Scam alert

Scam alert. Running promotions they never intend to honor. Followed every rule in a promotion in order to receive proper points. Only to have the scamming fetch people, to claim their is no proof that I even placed 1 of the three orders that I placed, through the app. They even show the pur cases were actually made in receipts, but claim there is no proof. The whole time you can bet they received their referral commission from the company for which I purchased goods.

Removing points without giving a clear explanation to why except for I didn't follow the community guidelines

Over 24,000 points were removed from my account. I sent him a message and I get nothing really back in return.

You write to them and get a bullshit response back and telling you to read and follow guidelines but yet they don't want to hear that a person shops alot and has lots of receipts but yet won't clarify which receipts they took the points back from so fetch can go suck an egg.

Don't always fulfill the points offered.

For the most part the reward points are immediate, however, many times I have to send snaps of the actual product codes for the extra rewards. The games very often don't automatically add the points in and chat interaction is required. I was told in the last chat, we will upload longer be adding the points in manually. So, if the code for the game doesn't populate the points, you're out of luck. This is like moving the goal posts in the middle of the game. The fulfillment requirements are being met, but the fulfillment is not provided. Sort of a baiting promise.

Don’t take their surveys!

I took a survey on this site during the last week of July and was notified I would receive credit by 8/5 (today).

Surprise, surprise! No points. Customer service was useless.

I use a couple different rebate type…

I use a couple different rebate type apps and I liked this one because you can get credit for any receipt. However when trying to redeem my rewards I realized what a scam this is. Any other app has rewards available instantly. This one makes you wait 3 days no matter what. And based off my research this is relatively new. They make the claim it’s to protect you or allow you to chafe your mind but literally no one wants this and there’s no way it actually protects you. They’re only doing it because they want time to review your receipts for fraud which literally should be done well before redemption. And even though you get credit for anything it takes forever to earn anything. Took me 6 months to get $50. For reference my favorite app I earn about $100 every 3 months and my second favorite about $40 every 3 months. Do not recommend

This app picks and chooses what points you get to use to accumulate awards!

Initially I thought this was a good app. I had cashed out my earned points with no problems in the past. This most recent time of trying to cash out my earned points it was declined. I was sent a generic letter stating reasons it could be declined, none of which I had done. They took my points, closed the case and basically I was told I was out of luck. This app is A LOT of work for them to decide they don’t want to follow the process and take your accumulated points. There are plenty of other apps out there don’t waste your time with this one.

I’m extremely disappointed with Fetch

I’m extremely disappointed with Fetch. Today I received a notification that my USPS package was delivered at 1:11 PM, but nothing ever arrived. The only “proof of delivery” was a handwritten note saying “NOT HERE,” which makes absolutely no sense. I was home the entire time — no knock, no call, no contact.

This is not the first time I’ve had issues with Fetch, but this time it crossed the line. If this is not resolved today, I will take legal action and file formal complaints with the BBB, FTC, and the Florida Attorney General.

Completely unacceptable service. Be warned.

The information you give them is far…

The information you give them is far more valuable than the rewards. Customer service is non existent or very poor. Rewards are inconsistent and seem arbitrary. In my opinion it’s a scam to get you to buy products they’re paid to promote.

Snap and Verify Points Immediately

Whatever you do, make sure you snap receipts immediately, BEFORE you discard your packaging. I am constantly having to contact the help center to get the points I'm owed. Once I submit the request, I am being asked to take a picture of the barcode of the product missing the points. If you've discarded the box, wrapping, etc., there's no way to snap the barcode. I've had issues with Quilted Northern, Yasso frozen treats, Hormel products, and Knorr products, just to name a few. You have to babysit on this app to make sure you receive the points you deserve. If you've thrown away the box or wrapper containing the barcode, there's no way to prove you've purchased it.

Bonus points are a scam- don't even try!

I've made a couple purchases in the Fetch Rewards App solely for the additional bonus points. I did not receive them. I contacted customer service and was told to wait for processing which can be 14 days to 6 months. I still have not received them. I strongly suggest not using the app, deceptive practices.

If points don't drop automatically,you're out of luck

I play the Fetch app games for added points. The games award points for advancing in levels. If Fetch does not automatically award points for play, you can request a manual award. But you can only do this ONCE. Any further awards, if they don't drop automatically, are LOST. I lost >7K points after the app didn't drop the points automatically. The Fetch bot just said too bad.
