Really unhappy with the service I have received from this company and in particular one member of staff who I found to be extremely rude, unbothered and unhelpful.
Communication was consistently poor throughout the entire process. I was chased twice on things they were waiting on me for but I had no idea as no one informed me that I had to be constantly checking the app for communications from them. Also I was charged £20 to use their app and it wasn’t even fit for purpose. Whenever I sent a message through app I received an "out of office" response which is just strange as the person I was contacting would then come back to my message.
I received a bill for a ridiculous amount of funds and when I asked for the bill to be broken down for me I received a poor response of you ‘owe X amount’ and that was it. So unprofessional and very much just unanswered my questions.
Throughout this whole process I was genuinely thinking what am I paying you for as the communication, service and lack of effort and rudeness was just totally rubbish and I’m so not impressed. I don’t understand all of the good reviews and why mine experience couldn’t be further from others.
I don’t want to particular call out one person by name but she was so incredibly rude on the phone, over email communications and if they were working for me I would not be impressed. This is such a stressful time in peoples lives and we pay solicitors a lot of money to help us as we simply cannot do it ourselves and it was made nothing but more stress.
I was advised to not cancel my direct debit with my previous lender so of course the higher payment was then taken. I contacted my previous lender and they said you should have been advised to cancel the direct debit due to processes and to ensure you aren’t out of pocket whilst waiting for a refund.
I will not be using this company again in the hope that next time the stress will be less so as I will have people that actually want to help me and aren’t rude towards me.

I was extremely disappointed with this company from start to finish.
Communication was consistently poor throughout the entire process. The app was clunky and difficult to use, and whenever I sent a message through it, I received an "out of office" response even during normal working hours. My messages often went unanswered.
I was also asked to resend my ID documents despite having submitted them six weeks earlier. Whenever I requested a callback, it rarely happened.
As a first-time buyer, I felt completely in the dark from beginning to end. Very little information was provided, and the overall service felt disorganised and unprofessional. Whenever I asked questions, I was made to feel like I was being a nuisance or asking something unreasonable, which left me feeling unsupported at a time when I needed guidance.
The poor communication didn't just affect me, my estate agent was extremely frustrated with the company, and this in turn caused unnecessary frustration for the vendor. The entire experience left me feeling out of control and alone during what should have been an exciting milestone.
Buying your first home is stressful enough without having to chase for updates and basic communication. I would never use this company again, and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else based on my experience.

If I could give more than 5 stars for Sam and Pheobe at Fidler and Pepper I definitely would. The time and patience they showed me as a first time buyer was exceptional. Nothing I asked was ever a bother and was answered promptly.
As all correspondence was handled via the message portal I was worried I would be neglected most definitely not the case.
Absolutely delighted that today is my completion day and now thanks to all the help from Sam and Pheobe I now have my house.
Would highly recommend Fidler and Pepper if your buying a home.
