Liam and his team member came to the rescue after I was let down the day before my mutual exchange - absolutely wonderful guys and was brilliant start to finish - THANKYOU!

Fantastic service from Liam and co and I highly recommend them. They clearly know what they are doing. Arrived the day before to remove and pack the majority of our house contents and arrived early the following morning on the day of moving to remove and pack the remainder. Unpacking at the other end into our new home was done efficiently with all goods placed as instructed by my good wife and myself. They were friendly, amiable and pleasant throughout the entire process making the whole moving experience a lot less stressful for us. While we are not planning to move again in the near future if the need arose we would not hesitate to use their services again. Thank you Liam from me and the wife.

USE WITH CAUTION!!!!!

Liam came across as honest and trustworthy but after a little bit of investigation it turns out these are not traits he possesses.

Initially things went well with Liam and his team working hard in hot weather. A late completion time on our day of moving (not his fault) meant he advised us our property would need to go into storage due to the end of the teams working day. He advised us he could not deliver our property until the following Monday (1 week away) due to having a lot of work on. Not an ideal situation but one we accepted as no other choice.

The following day Liam and his team contacted us to say some goods could be delivered that afternoon and arranged to be at our house for 14:30. We helped his team unload some of the items from the truck and when they packed up to leave we noticed the remaining half full truck contained our belongings. We gave the benefit of the doubt and believed they were done after a long day.

Things didn't seem right and we contacted our storage unit company to enquire and our suspicions were confirmed. After leaving our house that afternoon, with a half full truck of our belongings, Liam and his team took the remaining stuff from our house 7 miles away to our storage locker and spent 2 hours unloading from the truck through the storage facility up an elevator to the first floor instead of unloading it there and then at our house. Only then to invoice us £450 the following Monday to deliver our belongings to us that he had driven away with that afternoon.

He purposely left myself and family without clothes, kitchen equipment, kids toys, bathroom/hygiene supplies and made us wait a week to bring them back again and charge us the privilege.

I have issued an official email complaint on this matter for compensation. Including an agreed repair for a piece of damage furniture and text messages but as of yet no response. Hopefully just an oversight to not acknowledge but in truth more likely hiding from being caught out for dishonesty.

This is 3rd time we have used Liam to move our stuff. This time from Farnborough to Evesham to a 3rd floor flat with no lift. As usual Liam was punctual and extremely efficient and helpful. All our stuff delivered in excellent condition. I can happily recommend his services.

We used First Choice to move some very heavy old furniture into storage during a renovation project. The job was done with the minimum of fuss and the furniture was handled very carefully both on collection and return.

Liam was so helpful both before my move and on the day. He handled my enquiry and move in a really professional way. His team were friendly and helpful and also made me laugh at times, which is needed at such a stressful time.

We have used Liam twice to move our stuff and each time he has been on time and extremely careful with our goods. He was also most helpful in stacking and restacking our goods in a temporary storage facility. We are planning to use his services again when we move house to a new location. We chose Liam and the team at First Choice Movers, not only for their great first impression made when quoting, but once we made our decision to go with them, there was great communication along the way. We also appreciated the slick quoting to contract process so we knew where we were. In the lead up, sadly there was a family emergency, but this did not stop the high level of professionalism we received whilst they ensured we were still moved on the day. They were careful, quick and considerate of the high stresses of moving and we felt like they had our back throughout.

Although the guys were friendly, they completely underestimated the job. Also they did not come the day before to finish packing as promised.
They forgot to pack half of main wardrobe, stuff from loft, other cupboard. I reminded them.

Still they left behind some kitchen cupboards full with my items.
They did not pack things on time. The buyer was waiting outside until we were packing, I was hoovering and painting. So stressful.

Liam promised he will go and ask for the kitchen cupboards stuff, when he came to get free packing boxes after house move. Also he promised he will pay for the damage (a lot of the furniture was damaged, kitchen and bathroom items broken). He never did this and is ignoring all messages.
I paid their price which was higher than another company as I asked for care to be taken with my stuff. Also I paid them extra after one of the guys complained about the stairs in the new place.

One of the most stressful experiences in my life.
I will go with a more professional company next time.

The lovely guys from First Choice Movers recently moved my daughter from her first floor flat to a 3 bedroom house. Amid small children unpacking their toys as fast as we packed them and many other obstacles including a communal staircase with fire doors they patiently and kindly removed everything and set it back up so that everyone could sleep in their own bed that night and all on a Saturday too! Can’t thank them enough and I hope they enjoyed the rest of their weekend afterwards.

Liam and the other member of the team who attended our house move were fantastic. They were on time, incredibly polite and checked in about items. They moved us out of a 2nd floor flat with no lift, no complaints, efficient and had the utmost respect for our belongings. They even helped to work out how to take apart an odd wardrobe.

We had some delays on the other side, the team were very patient and reassuring that we would be ok. The offload was completed very quickly and the boys managed to get everything to where it needed to go. Liam checked the van over when I had mis-placed some screws (I put them away in a box). The whole service was great, Liam was really pleasant on the phone pre-booking, did not pressure to close the deal but talked through what was available, cost and gave me time to think. Genuine hard working people.

Lovely team of gentlemen who go over and above to make your move as easy and as stress free as possible. They are a very professional team and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Smooth delivery, fast and efficient. Very professional and all my things were delivered safely. I would highly recommend these movers. They loaded and unloaded from Mount Maunganui to Levin. They made my moving process stress free and I was able to spend the weekend with my daughter before she left to go to Australia. They did not need me at the property as they unloaded. When I arrived to the property everything was done and even my washing machine and fridge was plugged in. Thanks guys and sorry for the late review.
