Great Experience

Very easy ordering process, Robert helped me all the way with the quote and pricing. Very fair on price I have to say. We collected our order from Nottingham branch, again very easy. John was very helpful. I would definitely use this company again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Absolute disgrace, told on the phone it would be next day delivery, drove 150 miles to be on site as, even after paying £120 delivery, I had to unload it!!! No sign of them so called at 14:00, was told it’s a 5 day delivery so tried to cancel, they then threatened to deduct 20% for restocking, what BS!!!

So looking forward to the 28/11 as if there is one thing wrong with the order in anyway, straight through to the County Courts, especially after reading everyone else’s shocking reports.

I do wish I came on here first.

My invitation to the MD to call me is still open but I am not holding my breath.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 🤬🤬🤬

Very poor service

Very poor service, didn't deliver the goods, the driver advised they would come separately. 3 months later still not delivered and they won't replace as it was not reported within 48 hours.

DIRE QUALITY AND SERVICE

If there was an option for no stars they would have got it. Orderedand paid in August over £5000 and the goods were delivered a few weeks later but were in such a bad condition the entire order had to be returned to be reworked. We had to chase and chase and chase and eventually after dozens of calls and over100 emails the goods where redelivered in December and again we had to send a load back. It cost our company considerable amount in late delivery to our client and a huge amount in admin time chasing them and they were not prepared to compensate in any way . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

AVOID AT ALL COST

Terrible customer service and terrible delivery. £88 for standard 5 days delivery and you will be lucky to receive the delivery within 20 days. However if you are then unhappy they are happy to charge a 20% restocking fee for you to cancel the order. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The reply is again a fine example of your customer care. Please feel free to include the banner in your response as it does not say, orders placed on the 20th will not be delivered until January in which case the option for 5 day delivery should not be available when clicked. Perhaps try to fix the problems instead of responding to them online, as it may generate further business.

Thank you for your feedback, apologies your are unhappy with your service on this occasion. When your order was placed online on a 1-5 working day service there were only 3 working days left until our Christmas shut down period. This meant that although we try to get all our orders out before where possible, they may be delivered when we reopen. Unfortunately in this case we were unable to deliver out to you before the shut-down period and you would receive your order in the first two working days in January.

This is explained both in a banner on the top of the website and again at the delivery service at the checkout page as detailed below:

“Standard Delivery and Collection services are available during working days only and are not operating during the Christmas shutdown period (excluding Specific Day Delivery, which will run as normal, available on in stock items only). … Our Christmas Shut Down is taking place between 24.12.21 to and including 03.01.22.”

Clueless company

Clueless company
Order placed and approximately 50% of the order missing. Several deliveries later and each time items missing or wrong items sent. Over 20 phone calls to customer service to resolve and each time promise of a call back to let us know of missing items. Each time no call back only to start again trying to explain what was missing.
With revisits back to site with each delivery it’s a project we have lost money on and not one apology from First Fence.
Avoid at all cost, shambles of a company.

Don’t Buy from this company I’ve just…

Don’t Buy from this company I’ve just wasted close to £500 and now I’m stuck with rubbish not fit for purpose I will be contacting my solicitor.
I looked online and decided to give them a call, I explained exactly what I needed and what it was for and I was told no damage all checked before loading, and no large holes wrong on both counts, I needed them to keep chickens in and fox out, I ordered twelve two are so damaged my husband could have driven over with his tractor and done less damage ,
seven had large square holes big enough for a fox to walk in and out pick his dinner and come back for seconds , and the last three are bent but with the small slats as I expected , the only thing I can say good is they arrived next day.
There reply to my email was we can’t guarantee what you are sent out , you can send them back and upgrade to new and pay extra cost for them and new delivery cost +
20% restocking.
If I had been told at the start it was pot luck I would not have spent that amount of money on them, as I said a wast of money 75% bad reviews don’t lie just wish I had read them before I ordered with this company don’t make the same mistake as me.

The worst company I ever cooperated…

The worst company I ever cooperated with. I ordered fence for my customer. Order was meant to be ready for collection after 7 days but wasn't. 4 weeks after I placed the order, I told one member of selling team that I will inform police about fraud. Unexpectedly my order was found after couple hours ready to collect. Unfortunately quality of fences is very very poor.
Fence should be galvanised and powder coated but looks like was sprayed on the rust.

I have now ordered some more items for collection there as a result. A word of advice dont turn up expecting to buy additional things as this is just a collection point only after you have purchased on line. you cannot purchase anything at the collection point.

Excessive delivery / Restocking Fees / Goods dont arrive

Ordered on 25th September, it's now October 9th, 2 full weeks after ordering, goods still haven't left them.

Received a delivery notification that my order was going to be delivered today (9th Oct) and nothing showed up. No phone call to apologise, nothing.

Called them to find out what happened and none of them had a clue!

Order hasn't even left them yet and they want to hit me with a 20% cancellation fee for taking a few items OFF the order and have threatened me with a 20% cancellation fee if I want to cancel the whole lot and go elsewhere!

The only thing they will discuss with you is their Terms and Conditions or "We don't know". that's all you will ever get from them.

Shop elsewhere, save yourself a TON of hassle and money too! This lot really don't give a damn about customers nor service! Just money!

80% of their reviews are dreadful, and shows that "the level of service we pride ourselves on" is actually to rip people off and shaft their customers.

They shouldnt be trading with such bad service and should be a star on "Rogue Traders".
