The female staff were friendly, patient and helpful on the phone and guided me through the process.
The person who delivered the courtesy car could have been more helpful. When I asked him if there was a manual he said “Yes”. There wasn’t so I had to ring their office several times to find out how to work things. They kept me well informed on the progress of the repairs.

Car was taken in for repair after an accident.
Has come back with a active drivetrain fault which was not active when they took the car and are refusing to take responsibility. Will never be using them again as this now has to come out of my pocket and our inconvenience. Go with a more reputable company instead.

Whilst we appreciate your frustration, your comments paint a different narrative to the situation. Firstly, you stated your tyre pressure light was never on and this was down to us. We emailed you copy photos you sent us in December for an estimate of your vehicle outside of your home with the light on and you accepted you had not realised it was on but it clearly was before we had the vehicle in. The fault you are referring to above, we spent over an hour with you, running through the diagnostics on the vehicle with the reports from the pre diagnostic we carried out before repairs which had the faults causing this issue registered thereby giving you the evidence the fault is pre existing. The fault that is permanently stored is the transmission oil: shelf life exceeded - which is a maintenance issue. A quick bit of research online shows that this fault effects the drivetrain and can place the vehicle into limp mode. We have explained this to you and your insurer and offered you a copy of the diagnostics report which you refused. We would always deal with issues that we felt were caused whilst in our care and our staff are company are extremely reputable. I appreciate it is not the answer you wanted but we cannot be held responsible for maintenance issues for which we can clearly evidence is the problem in this case.

We are sorry you encountered delays.
We agree the repair should have been a lot shorter than they were but as communicated with you, we required a part that Landrover had on a back order and was required to make your vehicle water tight which stopped us from being able to work around it. Unfortunately manufacturers having delays impacts owners like yourself and us as as repairers. As you know we pre-estimate to avoid issues as much as possible but like in this case, if it's a part we cannot see until stripping the vehicle we have to order and wait for confirmation from the supplier. Very good repair quality, overall positive experience
The car required a new rear bumper, which was repaired and painted to a high standard. The vehicle was returned professionally cleaned, and I received regular updates throughout the process.
The only downside was some communication around timelines. The initial appointment was over a month after the incident, Although the work was completed in under 10 working days and to a good standard, clearer expectation-setting would have improved the experience.

A FIVE STAR PERFORMANCE
very easy to deal with, kept me informed and up to date with the repair. Body work done and you would not know the car had been in an crash.
They even cleaned the car inside and out, looked as good as new.
Never heard of them before but as they deal with RAC insurance claims was put through to them to repair car.
I would use them again if i needed any body work done again.

The quality of the repairs to my car are excellent. There was one delay caused by sourcing a camera but this was mitigated by the wonderful communications from the Fix Auto team. All round great experience.

26 November to 12 December for a relatively minor repair - when asked to confirm the work being done-Nothing was the response/even when my car was returned and I asked for confirmation-nothing. Delays when the work should be completed and even when it was ready I was unaware I had to have an appointment for it to be returned and next week was suggested. Standing my ground I received it Friday. The work appears to have been well done. I am just pleased to have my Golf back.

I am sorry you do not feel you had a good service, having reviewed the file, it does seem that maybe some things have been overlooked on your end.
I can see that our estimator called and spoke to you on 26/11/25 to go through the repairs, as per our process. This was before work was carried out. We emailed you a copy of the works carried out on 12/12/25 at 13:42 as requested. This was emailed as a reply to one of your emails therefore the email address is correct. For your convenience we have forwarded this again today. Regarding repair delays, there are several calls recorded between our front of house staff and yourself with them explaining the parts delays and answering questions you had. You advised in one of the last conversations on Thursday you were going out and to not call but send you a SMS when ready, this SMS was sent at 16:53 on 11/12/25 as per your instructions stating " Good Afternoon your vehicle is complete and ready for collection, Please contact us to arrange handover" Regarding the handover our team had asked to deliver Monday as they were fully booked. They ended up asking an office staff member to help them, who in turn worked late Friday evening to help out. We work very hard to deliver a high service to all customers but we also do the same to take care of our staff and do not ever ask anyone to work past their scheduled time. I am sure everyone can understand the importance of work / life balance especially in recent times. In this case they were asking to deliver the next working day which I believe is acceptable. We do send a SMS / email to every customer at the start of repairs stating "Please be aware that this date is for repairs only and is NOT the date of your vehicles return. We shall arrange this with you once the repair is complete" This was sent directly after the initial estimated completion date message was sent. In this case, this was sent on 27/11/25 at 11:04 and is showing as a delivered message.
