Customers frequently reported issues with the pricing structure, noting that advertised low fares often escalated significantly due to numerous additional charges for basic amenities. The staff were often described as unhelpful, cold, and at times rude, contributing to a negative overall impression. A strong consensus emerged regarding the lack of adequate customer service, with many struggling to get responses or assistance, particularly when problems arose. The booking process also caused frustration for some, especially when flights were cancelled or changed without sufficient notice or support.

Worst flight I’ve flown in my 20 years of flying

Ok so let me just clarify that I have been officially flying for 20 years straight now and in all these years I never bothered to make a review because every flight I have been on has been good to be honest. But this one was just terrible. They changed our flight back more than 3 times before our trip started, then when we came to check in for departure all we brought was a carry on and a back pack. The lady at the desk says that we have to make sure they fit into the metal slot that they have to see if we can bring them on the plane and it did fit but the back pack slot they had was sooooo tiny I can promise you only a laptop can fit between it. So we ended up having to pay for luggage when we got there. Never had a problem with our back pack and we just came off of 3 flights before hand in the last 2 weeks. Same size bag and everything. Now get this, online the tickets had said that we start boarding the plane at 2. She hands us the boarding passes after the whole luggage situation she wasted our time with and says “now hurry up they’re boarding right now”(it was 1 o’clock). So we ran to the gate and got there in time thankfully. Now we have a 9 hour flight and we’re tired and starving. Little did we know that we had to pay for everyyyyythinnggg. No food included in a 9 hour flight. I have never had that happen before with a flight over 5 hours and people will say oh but “Norse is cheap so what do you expect” brother my flight from Amsterdam to London before that was 1 HOUR AND THEY STILL GAVE OUT FOOD. You couldn’t even get water unless you paid about $5. Now I know this isn’t on the flight but to make things worse we got paired with the worst smelling dude in the whole plane. Body odor going crazy from this guy fr. So all in all you might be paying for a cheap ticket but with everything they hit you with you’re paying for just as much as a nice flight with none of the good to go with it. Would never go again and never recommend to anyone. Worst flight ever

Thoroughly Enjoyable Flight and Slick No-Nonsense Service

We thoroughly enjoyed our flight to Orlando with Norse Atlantic. Yes there were extras to pay for but a read through the pricing bands and comparison with other airlines allows you to make your choices before you book. We decided to upgrade to premium at the airport and were highly satisfied with our seats and the service. No it's not as luxurious as Business Class on other airlines but that is reflected in the price which we were unable to beat on comparison.
Of utmost importance for us, both the ground crew and cabin crew were really personable, friendly and attentive. From check-in to disembarkation service was slick, progressive and organised. Nothing was too much trouble and service was always with politeness, a smile and a little chat at times when they weren't too busy.
The cabin, our seats and toilets were immaculately clean and the crew smartly dressed. We both ordered vegetarian meals and they were again nicely presented and were delicious. The pre-landing snack was a lovely cream tea comprising a finger sandwich, a scone with jam and real (Roddas) Cornish cream.
We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Norse Atlantic and will definitely fly with them again. We wished we had taken note of the stewardesses name we chatted to - she was so friendly, pleasant and excellent at her job. Thank you all.

Norse Atlantic Airways cancelled a Rome…

Norse Atlantic Airways cancelled a Rome to JFK flight 38 days before departure (May 7th 2026) and offered to reschedule for May 8th 2026. How completely absurd to think that this was in anyway acceptable. DO NOT TRUST NORTH ATLANTIC AIRWAYS!!

Shockingly Poor Service and Zero Accountability

My recent experience with Norse Atlantic Airways was nothing short of appalling. This was a P&O‑operated charter, but Norse were the operating carrier — and they made it painfully clear why they should not be trusted with customer service, passenger welfare, or even basic professionalism.

After a significant flight delay, I attempted to submit a compensation claim. Norse’s “customer service” consists of a useless chatbot that loops endlessly and an automated email promising that an agent will be in touch “shortly”. No one ever responds. No follow‑up. No human contact. No accountability. It feels deliberately obstructive, as though they are hoping customers will simply give up.

The onboard experience was just as bad. The cabin crew on the return flight were completely unprofessional. One stewardess literally threw hot wraps at passengers while shouting “hot hot”, as if safety and courtesy were optional extras. It was chaotic, careless, and frankly dangerous. This is not a minor service issue — it’s a basic failure in training and passenger care.

Norse may try to hide behind the fact that this was a charter, but they were the operating airline. They are responsible for the delay, responsible for the compensation process, and responsible for the behaviour of their crew. On every one of those fronts, they failed.

I would strongly advise anyone considering flying with Norse to think twice. An airline that ignores customers, avoids its legal obligations, and allows such poor standards onboard should not be operating. This experience has completely destroyed any confidence I had in them

Do NOT use them.

Cancelled our flights, still waiting for the mandatory EU compensation and refunds half a year later. Never had a single response from them

Absolutely disgraceful the way this…

Absolutely disgraceful the way this company treat their customers. I booked a four night trip for my son’s 21st birthday
We booked 6 months in advance. After 2 months they changed out flight dates.
We had to change plans and try to sort with the hotel and transfers which was a nightmare.
Three weeks before they were due to fly they cancelled both departure and return flights changing the dates completely ( again)and also cutting their stay by one night leaving meaning they only had two days.
The hotel could not offer the room twin room we had pre booked at short notice and they had to squeeze into a small double.
No apology or compensation offered.
The most stressful experience .

Norse premium London to Cape Town…

I flew London to cape town in Norse premium. Was very impressed to be honest. The seat is huge for a premium economy product with an excellent recline. This really made a difference to feeling fresh after 11 hours. Service was very good too, main meal and light meal plus regular drinks. Few more drinks offered eg tea and coffee between main service would be nice. Staff were super friendly. The food was ok but more of an economy standard meal. Decent variety of drinks including wine. We boarded the aircraft within a minute and checked in in under 5. Upgrade to premium economy was £360 extra which I thought offered decent value. Low cost upgrade would be some nicer toiletries in the bathroom.

We were booked on a flight to…Bridgetown Barbados

We were booked on a flight to Bridgetown Barbados by P&O in January 26. It’s an experience I never want to repeat. We where held on the tarmac for over 6 hour’s before we where told the reason for the delay, and then only told that a problem with the aircraft needed signing off, and no one in the US could do this. We then had to make our own way to the airport hotel. No food or drink was offered whilst we where on the tarmac. We eventually had a meal at 21.00 at the hotel.
We then had to be back at the airport for 5am. Again we where held on the tarmac for a further 4 hours, reason, the in flight food hadn’t been delivered! Eventually we did take off! I would refuse to be carried by Norse Atlantic ever again. We have only had acknowledgement emails from them since our arrival back in January.

Awful airline

Awful airline - I'm surprised they don't charge you to breathe!

Awful airline.
We booked with Norse to get home from Thailand during the Iran war polava.
Cost us £2300 for two tickets direct to London Gatwick.
The flight was nearly 6 hours delayed.
Charged us for everything, even the cheap headphones for the in-flight screens during a 13-hour flight.
Drink and snack prices were ridiculous and charged in Dollars, so our bank charged us as well for the conversion.
I have tried to claim for the delayed flight, but to no avail, no phone number to contact the airline customer services, just a chatbot that tells you they have no record of your claim!
Ask to talk to an agent, and you get a reply saying it can take up to 5 days for an agent to respond!
Put a claim in, and the email response says it can take up to 10 weeks for a response.

DENIED BOARDING

Was supposed to fly to Bangkok with my 10year old son but at check in I was asked for my sons birth certificate and a letter from his mother as was a ‘new Thai law’ which was a total lie as my Thai partner was with me so she phoned her friend in Thai immigration who confirmed this is not true! We travel to Thailand at least twice a year and have no trouble at all. Anyway we got denied boarding and the staff were very rude. We then had to book another flight from another airline and got there without any bother!! They are now refusing to pay me back. AVOID THIS AIRLINE AT ALL COSTS!!

Flight N0501 athens to New York

I had a flight from athens to New York, flight no. N0501. I just want to say, Great Customer Service from all staff in Athens. Jason is very friendly and helpful, such a good vibes and the girl who handles the excess baggages. Keep up the good work.

One of the worst support experiences I’ve had

I travel frequently all year between Europe and the United States for work, and unfortunately this has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have had with any airline.
My issue was not only the refund decision itself, but the complete lack of accessible support when I needed assistance. The online chat was not helpful, no clear phone support was available, and responses by email took an excessive amount of time. After waiting many days, I only received standard template replies with no real attempt to understand the situation. When an airline sells international tickets, customer support should match that responsibility. In this case, it did not.
Based on this experience, I would not feel confident booking again.
