We purchased an ST8 from Matt, had it for 6 months, excellent machine, excellent back up. We also had a ST6 on loan, absolutely brilliant, now considering buying one. I think Först is currently unbeatable and it is Built in the UK, something to be proud of. Well done!! We recently swapped our ST6 for the ST6P,what a machine it is. Its quiter,quicker,the feed in chute is miles bigger,handles the brash alot better.Its also lighter (750kg) so if you're like me,and have the newer drivers license you don't need to sit that daft trailer license.
Like always the customer service is bang on,we never had a problem with the old ST6 (had it 4 years) fingers crossed I'll be able to say the same about this machine in 4 years time.

Outstanding woodchipper
I purchased a new Forst TP8 Woodchipper in November 2020 to replace my 18 year old Greenmech TMP 220.I expected the TP8 to be good.but it is absolutely outstanding.I have been very impressed by how good the feed rollers pull in branches.Some woodchippers struggle with Hawthorn trees and bushes but the TP8 pulls them in and they are gone.The build quality is superb.It is a bit heavy at 995kg compared to the TP200 700kg and Greenmech TMP 220 860kg.But the TP200 has thinner steel everywhere.and the Greenmech is now dated and of a similar price to the TP8.Having the grease nipples all located on the right side of the machine is a brilliant idea.The blades.Anvils.Hydraulic filter.Hydraulic oil filling point are easily accessible.The safety bar and emergency stop buttons on top are great.The chip quality is fantastic.A great looking machine too in Orange and black.I have it mounted on a Unimog U1000 and it's a great combination.Thank you Forst for selling me an outstanding machine for my day to day job as an arborists.

The first chipper I ever purchased…
The first chipper I ever purchased brand new was from Forst. It was the 11th one of their production line. I had previously, owned and ran other models. This was some years ago. The service and back up by this company has been outstanding; they have often gone above and beyond many times. Since this initial chipper I have purchased 4 other brand new models from them. The machines are first class, with a standard 3 year warranty and the back up is second to none. Highly recommended. Anthony (ArB Tree Care Ltd)

First time dealing with Matt and the team at Forst, and honestly they were brilliant from the get go. Any issues or queries I had they were quick to email back, or to chat on the phone. 2 out of 3 chippers broke down within…
2 out of 3 chippers broke down within 48 hours. However Forst were very professional and provided a prompt and efficient service in rectifying the issues. Within 24 hours.

I have had several Forst machines since…
I have had several Forst machines since the change from Jensen and have found the machines to be well designed with simple maintenance, great back up and support in the event of any problems. Great to see a UK based business building machines as well and providing a high level of backup. I have tried other main brands but always found these to be the best.

Amazing chipper from Först…
The service I have received from Först ( redwood global) is outstanding . They have done exactly what they said they would do plus more and on schedule . The machine is a beast (TR6 42 tracked )and I have confidence the support will be there should a issue arise. If I purchase another chipper I would not go to anyone else .

Fuel Fault on TR8 Chipper Dealt with Excellently.
Had an intermittent fuel fault on a TR8 Forst Chipper, spoke to Chris the general manager at Doncaster Depot who was extremely helpful. Darren the engineer dealt with the problem whilst we waited. Bought a new stp6
Bought a new stp6 at the end of last year. Had a few niggles to begin with but the customer service was excellent, brought a replacement out to site, found the fault and brought mine back to me. Helpful and kept in touch throughout.
