From the second I stepped in the door at motherwell,Kerry took me under her wonderful wings. No pressure,absolute kindness and genuinely cared . I felt safe and the advice was priceless. The service and everything was beautiful and perfect . Kerry kept checking on me even after the day. Wonderful. Thanks to Jim the undertaker you will never know how the wee attention to things meant to me personally.

Arranged my funeral plan with Angela at the Stirling branch. She is very professional, kind and understanding. Explained everything clearly to me and made me feel comfortable. The environment is very relaxing. I would recommend Fosters to other people.

Lynne and her team at Fosters made sure the service both at the church and the crematorium went seamlessly. They are thorough, very considerate and just really lovely people. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

It was a very difficult time following my brother's sudden passing but Carole and the team as Fosters Kilmarnock made it seamless. As I was taking care of the arrangements and had never had to do this before Carole was not only extremely helpful but delivered amazing service with incredible empathy. She took great care of me and my family especially during the viewing. She is a credit to the fantastic team they have there. I was recommended to consider the Stirling branch of Fosters because it had been used previously by someone I knew. As soon as I walked through the door I was met by friendly staff who went out of their way to put you at ease in a time of grief. A quiet room to discuss things in private without being rushed (with tea/coffee always on offer) also helped during this chaotic time as you are trying to sort out multiple things at once. They took care of collecting my brother's remains from the hospital, preparing him to look good for the "viewing" and arranging for an officiant to conduct the service.

Angela and her team were brilliant from start to finish. They showed compassion at every stage of the arrangement process and met all our wishes when planning the funeral for my Dad. My Mum and I couldn't have be happier with how Angela and Fosters Funeral Directors helped us through such a difficult time.

A sudden and unexpected funeral. WE were recommended to have Fosters in Dunfermline. One meeting with Lynne and we knew we did not have to try anywhere else. Everything was explained fully and throughout the whole process we were kept informed of the procedure. Nothing was any bother for Lynne, and she carried out her duties with pleasantness and efficiency. On the day of the service, we went from 4 to 14 attendees and she arranged that without any fuss. I would highly recommend this firm if you are looking for an efficient funeral company.

Unfortunately, I had to attend Fosters Family Funeral Directors twice in one year. My Mother passed in May 2024 and my Father 2025. Both so suddenly with no prior illness.

Sarah in East Kilbride branch was more than fantastic. She made the process so easy for us as a family, spoke through everything and advised us when needed. I couldn’t fault Fosters at all. I live in East Kilbride and my parents both lived in Edinburgh, the process was as easy planning in East Kilbride for the funerals to take to place in Edinburgh, than it would be attending an Edinburgh Branch.

This was the main reason I went back to them for help with my father’s funeral. Another easy process in such a difficult time of my life.
The gentleness, thoughtfulness and just sheer kindness from them was something I won’t forget.

Visited Fosters Funeral Directors in Ayr after the death of my father, we met with Sharon, who was very professional. We discussed our thoughts and Sharon was great guiding us, suggesting ideas that we would not have thought or considered.
Due to the distance we live, Sharon kept us informed at every step, even helping when we wanted to source a suit and required measurements, everything was done exactly as we wanted and we were delighted that we never experienced any hiccups in the planning or on the actual day of the service.
We could not fault any part of the proceedings and would definitely recommend Fosters in Ayr.

Having lost Linda, my wife and best friend of 44 years after a short illness, I was in a very bad place. From the moment I attended Fosters in Livingston and met Isla, all the care and worry of arranging the funeral was lifted off my shoulders.
Everything that needed to be done to carry out our wishes was done by Isla promptly and correctly and always with a personal kind touch culminating in a beautiful celebration of Linda's life on 21st May.
Isla, Jed and a lady who drove us whose name I regrettably didn't catch are a credit to their profession, and our families really cannot thank you enough for all you have done.

Everything was explained well and the communication throughout was excellent. All fosters staff were respectful and patient with my family, nothing was too much bother for them. Would recommend.

I do not know how I could have gotten through arranging my mums funeral without the team at Fosters - Especially Angela in the Airdrie branch.

Extremely professional, patient and compassionate. She talked me through every step, giving options, listening and understanding who my mum was as a person to make sure we had a beautiful service and cremation that reflected her and how much she was loved.

Communication was impeccable, from Angela, but also from the director on the day, making sure I was informed on everything that was happening and when it would happen.

Every single person we came in contact with was so so kind and unbelievably respectful.

My mum had a beautiful send off and that was only made possible by the care that the Fosters family took ensuring it was 100% what we wanted.

Angela organised a wonderful celebrant John Moody and the piper was a lovely extra touch.
Nothing was a problem, even though I made some minor changes to choice of songs and poem.
