Fourthwall is an excellent platform in many ways — the user interface is clean, the site structure and SEO are well done, and the control over templates and customization is fantastic. It makes setting up and managing a store very easy, even for creators who are new to ecommerce.
However, one major limitation is the payout options. The platform currently only supports Stripe (and Bill.com for certain regions), and does not offer PayPal or direct IBAN bank withdrawals. This can be frustrating and a real obstacle for many sellers, especially in countries where Stripe is not fully supported. Expanding payout methods would make Fourthwall even better.

I cannot recommend Fourthwall enough. We recently ran into a complex issue regarding TikTok, and the support team was incredible. We brought all the details to them, and they went above and beyond to provide exactly what we asked for.

I’ve been using Fourthwall for around two years now to sell my digital woodworking plans, and it has become a genuinely important part of my business as a maker and YouTuber.
What really stands out to me is that Fourthwall still feels focused on creators. A lot of the more established alternatives have become increasingly corporate over time, and in many cases feel flooded with generic drop-shipped products that have very little to do with the actual creator. Fourthwall feels different. It feels built for makers who care about their audience and what they’re putting their name to.
From a practical point of view, it’s easy to use and integrates cleanly with both my website and YouTube channel. In fact, I now direct my website and YouTube traffic to purchase through Fourthwall because the fees are more reasonable. That means I can either charge my customers less or maintain healthier margins — ideally both. For a small creator, that makes a real difference.
I do still use Etsy for its SEO reach, but when it comes to serving my existing audience, Fourthwall is now my preferred platform.
Selling digital products like woodworking plans has been straightforward and reliable, and I’m also looking at expanding into merch in the future, which is reassuring to have built in already.
Support has been excellent. Once you move past the AI, you get a real person — and not just a template reply. Responses have been quick, knowledgeable, and they genuinely seem interested in both solving issues and improving the product.
It’s not perfect — I’d love to see stronger SEO potential, deeper WordPress integration, and the option to set different pricing for different countries. But no platform has everything. Overall, Fourthwall has been a fantastic service for my business, and I’d happily recommend it to other makers and content creators.
I ordered sample products (4 items), and it took over 2 months for them to be produced. During that time, I had to follow up at least five times because support was extremely slow or unresponsive.
When the samples finally arrived, the production was incorrect. Since reporting this issue, support has stopped responding entirely.
For creators running a business, delays of this length, incorrect production, and lack of communication are unacceptable.

I’m a creator that has been using FourthWall for at least 2 years, and their customer service is phenomenal, and their variety of products is just wild!
I have no idea what some of the negative reviews are about regarding customer support. Fourthwall has been amazing to work with! I’ve probably contacted customer support over 50 different times for numerous different issues and questions and they ALWAYS respond in a timely manner and always provide the help I need. Highly recommend Fourthwall!!!
They are just scammers , they stole my money
I work with them for 2 months , they delay the payouts , then close my account without any reason , just saying products is not clear , but it was so clear , it is just a training

The customer service is atrocious. I tried to resolve an issue with my YouTube storefront for DAYS without any response from the customer support team. All I was told was to try reconnecting my store to my YouTube channel and as soon as I told them that didn't work they stopped responding to my emails. I'm unable to resolve this problem on my own as they DO NOT have any means of verifying ownership of the storefront through Google Merchant Center. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Fourthwall approved my logo online, then delivered a hat with wrong colors and my company name cut off. Support refused to take responsibility, blamed my design, and sent me a generic document instead of fixing the issue. Once I asked for a refund, they went silent. This feels like a company that approves designs, ships defective products, and then ghosts customers.
I have had a terrible time with FW and as I’m UK based right I would share my issues.
- The GUI took a bit to get used to when uploading designs and it was still annoying and illogical in places - a small grumble but all goes to the experience.
I’d had a store front running for a week or two connected to my YouTube channel, and while there had been clicks there were no purchases and I didn’t know why so I tried to order some samples, and what you should know is that my store was curated to only have products available to be produced in the UK, I’m here so it makes sense.
I tried to order a couple of T shirts and a couple of jumpers:
- at checkout I was informed that at least one of the items would come from Latvia so I had to pay more shipping - but they didn’t say which product was coming from Latvia!! I’D MADE SURE STUFF WAS AVAILABLE FROM THE UK!!
- VAT was added at the end, which may be normal for some countries but generally when shopping here it’s part of the price unless stated elsewhere (occasionally get the option to even include or exclude VAT depending on products/sites).
- my order nearly doubled in price once UK shipping, Latvian shipping, and VAT had been slapped on so no wonder why there were no orders!
- I emailed FW to get a nonsensical copy and paste style reply, and that was the last I heard from them.
- OH and not being super technically minded, I followed the instructions to add the created store to my website, to which the store completely took over the whole thing and I’m still having a nightmare time trying to get things back to normal. My website inexperience may contribute to this but not everyone is a web developer, this should be a simple linking/unlinking process.
So in summary, awful to use, lack of transparency, terrible communication. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is the site looks nice.

Customer service/support does not help you. They just redirect to another unrelated issue and provide documents that are already accessible and unrelated to you issue to make it LOOK like they helped but they don’t even address you with respect. Just a face on a screen as if they have better things to do.

He validated my concerns, kept me updated constantly, and ensured the issue was resolved completely.
