Lovely 'feel' to both product and company. Can recommend.

Bought the Serena co-sleeper and complete sleep cot for our first child, it seemed the most practical way of managing co-sleeping at 0-6 months, and that was something we had decided we would like to try as long as it could be made safe. Have only used the co-sleeper cot 'stage' of this product at time of writing, but I'm very impressed by the build quality, solidity and safety. I was a bit intimidated when so many enormous boxes showed up, but the assembly was actually very easy (only allen keys [supplied] and a crosshead screwdriver required). I still managed to get confused at the last stage, but when I rang up was met with a very helpful representative who went above and beyond to understand my problem, and didn't make me feel an idiot when he worked out what I was doing wrong! A lovely 'feel' to both product and company. Can recommend.

Amazing Customer Service

I love this company. Every time I have interacted with them I am served with excellence! They have always made me feel like they truly care and they go out of their way to make things easy.

Their customer service is amazing! Just fabulous 😊 I wish every vendor was like them!

Never Ever Gaia Baby again!!!!!!

Unfortunately I can not recommend Gaia baby, this was the biggest disappointment I've had for a long time. When seeing this nursery set on Instagram I was really excited to order. When it arrived, the disappointment started by looking at the product and all I can say is that this wasn't high quality furnitures. The co sleep came fully assembled because ordered it from the outlet. Its been described that the item could have tiny little faults and it has NEVER⁷ been used by a customer. Well this was the first lie I suppose because the co sleep had marks on the material where the zip is such as finger prints and others. Then when trying to assemble the cot I noticed that there where bolts and screws missing. Who sents an 'unused' item to the customer with missing screws. Anyway I contacted the customer service and the lady Iva wasn't very customer friendly, she was rude. She tried to make me look like that I don't know what I'm doing and I can't be right that there is bits missing. Anyway when she spoken to her partner Karl (I suppose they are the only 2 working) then they agreed to finally sent me more bolts and screws so I can carry on putting the bed together. When assembling the bed I've noticed the very poor quality of the product as the holes are badly made and it was hard at some point to turn the screws. The biggest issue then was that the bolts wouldn't fit in properly so this was the moment to stop to build it together because I could see that this cot won't be safe for my baby. Imagine growing to a toddler age and when playing getting caught with clothes and strangle themselves. I then requested a return for the items because this wasn't good enough safety!!! Karl on the phone accepted the return after me being in tears after all the excitement, disappointment and also being 6 months pregnant.

£150 they deducted of my refund money for a 'hired van' they had to get to pick it up but in the end they came with the company van so there shouldn't have been any extra costs for the hired van. I can not explain how does this feel that this company ripped of so much money of a pregnant women who just wants to get with a little budget a nursery room sorted for her first born.

Karl who came to pick up the furnitures was also cheeky enough to nick one of my blankets which where on the floor to protect the furnitures outside the house.

I have had to ask many times for when this will be collected and my refund, I felt the customer care was poor. Karl claims that he was very communicative with me during this time but this isn't true because if I wouldn't have phoned or sent email or wrote comment on Instagram post I wouldn't of heard anything about it. Oh, and to mention this one too, I have been blocked by Instagram after I commented under a post. That's fine by me, cause this was all worth it because I received the quickest respond via email ever. Still sad that they had to block me cause they are worried I am telling more about the poor furnitures and service. I am done with this company, I wish I could give 0 stars to this review. No one should go through stress and upsettings that I went through. Think twice before you buy, the Instagram posts look nicer than they actually are!!!!!

If I could upload pictures for evidence I would have done it.

Indeed safety is at the heart of every item and I would like to stress that all of our products are tested and certified to the highest standards.

As you have spent time writing a review we think it's important to give some facts so a new customer can consider your review carefully. Please see below

1) You purchased the items from our outlet section. It is clearly stated before purchase that the items are not first quality and may have some small defects. This is why they are offered at a large discount. I can 100% confirm that all items sold in the outlet have never been used.
2) During Covid we had no access to a two man delivery service so we delivered the item assembled (in Co Sleeper mode) with a view to assist you. This also allowed us to pre-inspect the item. In our opinion the items were in good condition. Note- We did not charge for this build service, our aim was to help you during lockdown.
3) After delivery you called to state that you were unhappy with a mark on the co sleeper textile panel and also you felt some of the bolts used were unsuitable. We tried to assure you that the product was safe but in light of you being upset we agreed to collect all the goods
4) We note that you had also dismantled/unboxed all the items and disposed all the packaging. Despite this, we still agreed to offer a full refund.
5) We gave you the option of returning the goods yourself or for us to collect the items (at a cost of £150). You selected the option for us to collect and agreed the price. We suggested that we may have to collect the items ourselves (with our own staff). Please appreciate that during Covid it is impossible to get courier companies to collect anything unpacked. As you had thrown away all the packaging we had no choice but to collect using our own team
6) We have already provided justification of why a collection costs £150. £150 is not for "van hire". For an 8 hour round trip we have to cover salary, petrol etc. As a note, the true cost of collection is far higher. This was explained at length before collection and was agreed by you
7) We collected the goods on Wednesday 1st July. We explained that as soon as the goods were receipted into the warehouse you would receive the refund. You were fully refunded on Monday 6th July- 3 working days after collection. We refunded the goods despite receiving everything in bits with all packaging removed.
8) Communication- We can confirm that you communicated with Karl on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd July (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) both during and after collection. On each occasion he confirmed the refund process. You also emailed us on the Saturday of which we replied on the Sunday. I have looked into our response times and I can confirm that we have responded very quickly on every occasion. Indeed you also had access to Karl (who you spoke to most days). Karl made himself available whenever required to try and assist you.
9) Karl and Iva are not partners. Karl is a Co-Founder of the company and Iva works in our customer services department.
10) We did indeed borrow one of your blankets that we have offered to return or replace.

Our hope is that every customer loves our products as much as we do. Sometimes this isn't the case and we do our best to remedy the situation and look after the customers needs. On review of your case I think we have acted with good intentions and also in a timely manner. We truly wish you felt the same.

Disappointed

We bought the Cot with Co-Sleeper extension and the rocking chair with footstool at the baby show. We were really impressed at the time but unfortunately feel let down by Gaia. For a premium product, attention to detail isn’t what you would expect it to be. When assembling, some holes hadn’t been drilled, some were painted over so the screws wouldn’t “bite”, holes were misaligned so other pieces couldn’t slot in, the wood trim at the bottom wasn’t a consistent colour, and so on. Gaia kindly collected these pieces and replaced them, and also asked someone to assemble it for us but after he left, we still had issues. Eventually we gave up chasing/complaining as our baby came early and we have since bought a Chicco Next2Me as we didn’t have confidence in the Gaia Co-Sleeper extension. All a bit of a shame, we had hoped for more from them. Perhaps they will improve as they become more established.

Co sleeper

We recently ordered the co-sleeper which turns into a cot/cot bed from the Olympia baby show. I cannot fault their customer service, they sent out the order within the time frame expected (unlike some of the other suppliers) and despite this any issue I had they had rectified immediately

Would highly recommend! The product looks as good as it did in the show room and now we can’t wait for our little one to arrive to see how he finds it

Purchased Changing Unit and Serena Co sleeper crib. Excellent products, look great, good build quality.

Co sleeper crib is let down by the instruction, very hard to follow, especially step 5, feel like the instructions include for a previous version of the product.

Amazing customer service

I have just received delivery of the Gaia baby rocker and footstool , they are absolutely gorgeous an super comfy , looking forward to cuddling up with my toddler this evening.
There was a bit up a ness up with delivery by Nightline couriers ( not turning up when arranged, turning up a different day and asking could I not come home from work !!vor could it be left in the garden !!!) Bella baby were all over it , Shawnice arranged for Peter from Clever Cloggs ( the whole salers and sister company of Gaia baby ) and his lovely son to deliver the chair at a time that worked for me , they carried it upstairs and took away all packaging .
They were beyond lovely , easy to deal with and so helpful .
I could not recommend Gaia baby, Clever Cloggs or Bella baby more

Instagram Worthy Furniture

We have the Gaia Baby Complete Sleep and Dresser on order for delivery in July and couldn’t be more excited! We knew when we saw this furniture that this was perfect for our Instagram worthy room. The design and quality are just far better than other cots on the market today.

Amazing Range!

We saw the Gaia range of furniture at the Baby Expo in Sydney - it is amazing, I am so excited that this range is coming to Australia it's stunning! The quality of the furniture is fantastic, the rocker is super comfy and I can't wait to sit in it and have everything set up in our nursery.

I could not rate Gaia Baby high enough

I could not rate Gaia Baby high enough. We love our cots for our twin babies and rocking chair with footstool to rock them to sleep. Firstly the quality is exceptional and both the cot beds and chair are so comfortable and relaxing. Secondly the service received has been outstanding. A real personalised service with the Gaia team going out of their way to ensure we have the best experience with these wonderful products. Finally we love that these products will last and adapt as our children grow and therefore getting a long term value from them. They also look great and we are so happy to have purchased them. Big thank you to the Gaia team.

I absolutely love my Gaia-baby crib!

I absolutely love my Gaia-baby crib. I live in an apartment where we are tight for space and this crib was the perfect solution to our space issue. The mattress is top quality too, it's firm but cushioned and extends as the crib extend! I even purchased the organic fitted sheets and these wash beautifully. Aesthetically it ticks all the boxes too. The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 was there is no way to lower the bars so I count on my son to put his arms up to me so I don't have to bend over too much. I knew this before I purchased the crib but the other features outweighed this one disadvantage.

The BEST & most beautiful crib!
We get so many comments from visitors about how beautiful and uniquely designed her crib is. We weren’t a fan of many other cribs for the nursery- we wanted a minimal design whilst also being a piece that we would keep for a very long time and grow with her. Gaia was the only thing on the market that ticked all those boxes.

She’s comfortable and safe when she’s napping or sleeping and she loves to play in there too. Best baby Buy we’ve made!
