Not sure how you can message me but I finally received all 3 of my payments(£1 +2 x £39.99) after about 10 days.
I had emailed around 30 times and already had my solicitor ready to help with this .
What I did notice is as soon as I was refunded they managed to schedule another £39.99 next month which I have blocked.
The only way is to close the account I feel.
The goodwill gesture is so annoying.
Everyone that has been scammed keep at them and threaten legal action .
I advise you call the police re GamesboxPro
**Amendment - on emailing this scam company many times and informing them that I am involving the police, fraud team, banks, Watchdog and Action Fraud, they have replied and basically told me that Im in breach of their terms and conditions! They also say that I received a confirmation email when I 'signed up' with them, and that I willingly entered a contract with them. I have informed them that no such email was ever received by me, no contract was ever taken out, that they have attempted to take money from first, Colombia, and secondly from Harlow, England. I have also informed them that when I attempt to log in on their website, it says that I have no account with them.. Yet they are adamant that I set up an account to authorise payments! Not as clever as they think they are, obviously. They HAVE said that as a 'gesture of goodwill' (for the 2nd time!), that they will issue a refund of £39.99. Whether or not this will actually happen, we shall see. If you are victim to this 'company', please email them, and continue emailing them until you hear back. Also, report them to your banks, watchdog, CAB, Action Fraud, and the police.**
This scam company are still taking money from my account, even though I have blocked payments and involved my bank who have said they can't help me as I authorised the initial £1 payment voluntarily. I cannot recall paying £1 for anything, yet I authorised it and initiated monthly payments?? This scam company took 2 x £39.99 payments from my account, plus several more payments of £1 here and there. I emailed them and told them to cancel my 'subscription' and threatened them with legal action. They very cheekily replied that they would refund me the one £39.99 'as a gesture of goodwill'!!! However, I've just now seen that another payment is pending. How the hell are they allowed to get away with this? I've always been so very careful with scams etc, just don't know how they're doing it. I'm thinking of just switching banks as Lloyd's can't seem to stop them. I'm also now involving a solicitor and the police.
I work for a bank
I work for a bank. The problem is more than likely that the QR code app is directing you to the wrong website on purpose. Try using the qr reader on a nother code and see what happens, I'm guessing it takes you to gamesbox.
Another sick scam
This is a scam and I am going to be following up with the police. In summary, I thought I was buying train tickets, I have been unable to cancel my subscription through their site, they don’t answer the phone and have already taken nearly £80 from my account. They have now cancelled my account after threatening legal letters…just disgusting. I am not going to let this rest…
Total Scammers. Tried to order food at the…
Tried to order food at the Winterstream in Bristolon app. As I was clicking to order food something popped up and said they needed card details. Thought it was for food menu. Now I have had email saying 1.00 taken out plus 39.99. Total scammers.
My daughter has been tricked into this
My daughter has been tricked into this. Tried to buy a raffle ticket for Herd in the City Southend on sea event on some app, they must of over lapped their QR code. Ended up with having a pound taken for something she didnt understand. Now see she has had two amounts of 39.99 taken already, have managed to cancel payments on her bank account, but the thieves wont answer their phone or emails. So so annoyed.
I have a similar story to the other…
I have a similar story to the other posts. I bought a £1 ap to use a boroscope on my I phone and un wittingly signed up for a game app, When I tried to contact them they are and American company with a dodgy registers address in UK. I’ve tried to cancel the £39.99 direct debit through my bank but they say I have to get permission from the vendors. I’ve had 2 payments go out.
Where I can text them or call
Where I can text them or call, they charge me 79£
I saw £39.99 charged in my bank by gamesbox.pro
I saw £39.99 charged in my bank statement and didn't know how or why! I e-mailed supportATgamesbox.pro and they say they have refunded and cancelled further MONTHLY payments BUT are they involved? They gave NO EXPLANATION. IT IS THEFT,and a criminal act.
Beware of any payments taken, without consent,by gamesbox.pro in the uk. VERY,VERY SUSPICIOUS.
Can confirm they are scammers

I never even play games of this kind.
Got my Money Back
Hi
I also had money removed from my bank account. I got in touch with Gamesbox Pro, and the gentleman was really helpful, and I got my money back. I thought it might be helpful for people to know.
Scammers
Scammers. I thought I was paying for a train ticket via the trainline app, but had unwittingly signed up for this so-called gaming app, which opened directly from the trainline app. I contacted trainline when it happened, mid August 2023. I thought they had dealt with it, so I'm disappointed to see others having the same issue.
UPDATE: I went on my credit card app and found a 'dispute this transaction' button. I explained what happened, and that others had been affected, and included a link to this trustpilot page. Within 24 hours I received an email from Gamesbox.pro cancelling my subscription and refunding the money. So, if you have paid by credit card, contact your provider.
