This is the third time that we've engaged GAP for home improvements. We are delighted with the newly completed front extension using the Hup! system, from how good it looks externally to the additional internal space. Everyone in the GAP team, employees and subcontractors alike, was friendly, professional and helpful throughout the process. A great build delivered on time and at the agreed price. Definitely my go to home improvements company for any future work.

I want to highly recommend GAP home improvements From walking into their showroom at Roxton Garden centre to the last lick of paint on the walls they have been amazing. Professional but not pushy sales guy(Wayne) , surveyor Barry, builders/generally can do anything Dean, Liam & Stuart, electrician Nash, plumber Dave, Lizzy on decorating and last but not least Roy who co-ordinates and manages it all. I am 100% in love with my new garden room, the quality of finish is superb

I can thoroughly recommend employing GAP, in order to deal with the replacement of doors and windows.
Our property dates from around the beginning of the 20th century and we were keen to ensure that the existing period sash windows were replaced with something which looked as close as possible to the originals, whilst being able to eliminate the need for periodic repairs and redecoration. GAP provided the requisite choice.
The work involved the replacement of two doors at the rear of the property, plus a total of 12 different sized windows.
The work was finished in 5 days and the two men, Stewart and Tom, took every opportunity to ensure that we were not inconvenienced. They left no mess whatsoever.In short, they were the ideal workmen, highly professional and respectful of us. and of the property.

This is the third time we have used GAP as our builders and they have done exactly what they promised, on time and within budget, with friendly competent staff. They work quickly and cleanly and have done good work for us, from large extensions, to small repairs. We will use them again.

I’m so pleased with my new windows and doors – they look fantastic and the quality is excellent. The whole experience from start to finish was straightforward and stress-free. Stuart, who carried out the fitting, was brilliant – really polite, hardworking and took great care with everything. The workmanship and finish are superb, and I’m thrilled with how it’s all turned out. I’d happily recommend them to anyone considering new windows or doors.

The project was to replace a front door, replace a cracked bathroom window pane and two blown glass panes on elderly windows.
The showroom was well laid out with lots of examples to choose from and a visit from the sales person arranged. He explained that older windows were more likely to' blow' the glass seal and when we discovered that several rubber seals, that hold the pane in place, had shrunk away from the glass on the sunny side of the house we ordered several more replacement panes.

All the people we dealt with in person or on the phone were friendly and helpful.

However on delivery and fitting we discovered that the frosted glass was not the pattern we chose, that two of the glass panes were made to an incorrect size ,additional unordered glass panes were also delivered and that the side panel by the front door had a fault embedded in the glass and needed to be replaced at a later date.
In addition the shrunken black seals were replaced over the new glass panes as the fitter explained that this was all that was available, which we were not happy about. We wouldn't have ordered replacement glass panes over and above the original project if we had understood this.

The return visit to finish the project was several weeks after the initial fitting and we had to turn up at the showroom in person to move things on. Communication was not great at this point of the booking

We did finally end up with a finished project that we were pleased with apart from the replacement of the old shrunken black seals.

I would have reservations about doing further work with this company though after all the errors at initial delivery and fitting

From the very first visit from Wayne who brought along samples for us to see the quality of the product to Stuart and Lee, the fitters who demonstrated experience, professionalism and understanding of their product, the whole process has been ultra smooth with everything happening on time.
The whole team from GAP Home Improvements have been brilliant.

No hard sell tactics employed, valuable advice on what would work best for my home and superb installation, 100% satisfaction upon completion. GAP has truly exceeded our expectations with their recent design and installation of a new conservatory on our property. They are currently in the process of replacing our fascia and soffit. The transformation is nothing short of spectacular, and we couldn't be more delighted with the final outcome.

I recently contacted GAP as an elderly close friend of the family was interested in getting a quote for some new windows in their home. Nick contacted them and booked in a time to go and meet them in Oakington and they signed up straight away. The price was just right and the service from Nick was excellent. A great service! Thank you Nick for being some courteous and professional - it made all the difference for our friend who was hesitant about organising quotes.

Fantastic service and care taken with my installation. Claire, who was my project co-ordinator, kept me informed and my main fitters, Jason and Damian couldn’t have been more helpful. I am so pleased with the result and the after care service has been brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team.

We are delighted by our new front and back doors supplied by GAP. From quote to completion, the company have kept us informed along the way, and this week their fitters arrived and installed our doors with minimum fuss. You get what you pay for and these doors are excellent - not only do they look great, they will help with heat loss, and cut down our bills! Would highly recommend.

Just had a conservatory installed by GAP. I would highly recommend this company, very pleased with end product and great friendly team throughout the construction process.

Very happy with GAP. They have now fitted us a new front door (October 2020) and new windows, soffits and fascias (January/February 2023). Nick has always been helpful and friendly, honest about what they recommend but without feeling pushy, and reasonable on the occasion that we queried a price (but generally we haven't needed to do so as prices have seemed good value for the product quality!) Everyone involved in the work has had the same level of professionalism while being friendly. While there have been some delays on occasion, these haven't been too long and are understandable (due to weather etc). Would recommend and may indeed use them for further work this year!

This is the 2nd time we've used GAP. The first was for our Solidor front door and now for a fantastic set of bi-fold doors.
The service was great, right from our initial meeting with Nick in Sales through to Roy project managing and running the job from start to finish. They both went over and above and kept us updated with timelines and any changes that may have occurred. I would highly recommend GAP for any works you may be considering.
