I needed advice over the phone today, my call was answered promptly and helpfully by Rob in Newcastle upon Tyne. Uk call answering is helpful for me because I have hearing impairment and have difficulty understanding overseas call centres.
There was a small problem opening a new account on line using iPad safari so I was advised to do it on Google which did work. I suspect that a section of the GB software isn’t compatible with Safari but with help on the phone we sorted it using google.
Otherwise apart from the software issue it would have been 5 star

I had a question about how to access my account and my options on maturity of my savings account. Both were answered in a very friendly, easy-to-understand way and I am very happy with the answers and the fact that I was able to do exactly what I had wished with the minimum of time and no intrusive list of questions.

We opened a notice account with Gb bank and the process was quick and easy. We always check beforehand what the phone service is like incase we have problems. We did encounter a problem on closing the account. The calls are answered quickly and the service providers are well informed and thecproblem resolved immediately. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Good competitive interest rates.
Very accessible by phone and answer without delay. Speak to a real person. Staff all speak English and so no issues in communication. All staff always very helpful and knowledgeable in their products and systems. Staff are always very patient when sorting things out, very polite.
Today spoke to their colleague, Chantelle who quite happily stayed on the phone whilst I made payments from another bank, to make sure the money hit my GB bank account without issue. Very reassuring when moving large sums of money. Thanks Chantelle and thanks to all your colleagues.

I recently phoned GB bank with a complaint and was greeted by a man called Rob. I complained to him about an issue. Rob was most helpful and was able to speak to him a second time following a further letter from the bank. This communication between me and him allowed for a speedy conclusion to be reched by the bank. I am delighed therefore with the service given to me by GB bank and especially Rob.

Rob was extremely helpful and patient in helping me set up my account. He spent 46 minutes on the phone going through each step online with me; even with me asking him basic questions I had just to make sure I had understood all the information correctly. Did not feel rushed or pressurised. The online set-up was actually simple but I just felt I needed "someone holding my hand" whilst setting up online and so glad that it was Rob on the other end of the phone! Thank you Rob

On day you accept account you have to close sane account. No message, no clarify. I needed money for a house purchase and failed. Going legal with GB Bank. Do not trust or use them. No customer info, no info on banking regulator.
