I ordered a bed in 120×200 cm, which was explicitly confirmed in writing via chat. Despite this, the seller delivered 135×200 cm, which does not fit the room and is therefore unusable. After deli... See more

Don't trust 'Trade Assurance'

I have used Alibaba Trade Assurance for 4 years and thought it was fine until a seller did not ship the goods. I thought this would be straight forward to claim a refund from Alibaba, i have all the evidence , i uploaded it to them as they asked. They agreed the refund, but 4 months later still no refund. I have contacted them numerous times but the same old reply 'wait a little longer' 'We'll get back to you' 'It will be processed tomorrow'.
I have now told my suppliers that i will only use PayPal in future.

The WORST Dispute Management - 100% on seller side!!

Alibaba Dispute Management IS THE WORST!! We have ordered over 13.000 USD of products, and even had the Alibaba inspection in China. However, the goods sent to us were really bad. We opened a dispute and uploaded 65 (!) pictures evidencing the bad quality. Then they wanted us to pay for an inspection in Germany (about 5.000-7.000 USD), and decided for a (partial) refund based on this inspection. Problem there is, they do not freeze any trade amount from the seller - so you are highly at risk to get the money back!!! However, we then agreed with the seller to get replacement parts and a small refund. Then the seller uploaded the bank slipt and Alibaba asked 1 day later if we have received it (fridays). Because we didn't answer within 24 hours, they CLOSE the dispute process!! (they already threatened multiple times before to close the dispute, when the time to answer has passed [mostly 24 hours, even at the weekend!!!]). I would have never thought to say this, but we really hate Alibaba for this.

Not A Trustworthy Company

Not A Trustworthy Company

This company has no qualms or concerns selling contraband or environmentally toxic items to anyone ordering and this is of great concern. An example - mercury medical (and for personal use) thermometers. These have been banned in various nations since the 1990's and in 13 States in the USA since 2002. Yet Aliexpress and Alibaba continue to sell these online. There is an obvious disregard for the health and welfare of not only the environment, but marine life and human life as well. The ignorance of the buyers does not give Aliexpress and Alibaba the carte blanche license to sell these items because of "demand". Education is needed on both the buyers and this company's management & supply chain to ensure the continual destruction of the environment we all share will stop. Until that happens, stay away. Your life or the life of a loved one may depend on it.
