went to do a full head of tape extensions with HUMAN HAIR …..or what i was told and sold as human hair

However, that was not the case what they actually taped in my hair was synthetic mixed with human hair. the effects being itching head knots galore (i mean dread locking knots) which ends up ripping your natural hair out….. just an all round painful experience

Its unethical and immoral as a company to mislead your customers

Having had tapes put before i know what they should look and feel like . Glamourous Lengths tapes were not it Unfortunately, you can only tell they’re not 100% human hair after the fact

GLAMOUROUS LENGTHS were a total disaster. and if i can save only 1 person from not having their hair ruined by them then it'd make my experience less traumatic

I have being using Glamourous Lengths for some years now, after completing a hair extension course with them around 10 years ago.
I use the Luxe range which is fantastic, I change the hair once a year, it's still in great condition but I change due to either colour change or wanting the length again.
The staff are friendly and helpful, I wouldn't use another supplier, my experience has been 10/10 so no need to.

Horrible customer service tutors have discriminatory language when referring to textured and coarse hair naming it as “afro Caribbean”

Terrible!! Taking them to court my hairdresser purchased these and until now didn’t even think to look at the reviews they have ruined my hair!! Blamed me and my aftercare which seems to be a theme on the other reviews they are fraudulently advertising this as “human hair” and have since changed their life span form 6 months to 4 to 6 weeks … I want my money back but they have refused so will see them in court the mental anguish and embarrassment they’ve caused is immeasurable

Bought the pure range and the athena tapes. So inset one wash and so awful. Can't blow dry it and looks so fake I'm so upset. Not real hair at all

I bought 2 different colours of hair

1. #27 Strawberry Blonde Nano Tip 1g 18inch Athena (25 strands)
2. #60 Blonde Nano Tip 1g 18inch Athena (25 Strands)

They were fitted and within in 4 weeks the hair was full of static, split ends and looked singed!! The hair was constantly falling out. It was embarrassing. I used all the right products, sulphate free shampoo, conditioner and hair mask. All sulphate free ! I used an argon oil on the ends. The static was unreal !! Last for 6 days and at that point I was ready for my next wash. The hair isn’t soft or silky as advertised. It’s disgusting. I have photos to prove it. I contacted the wholesaler who asked me to send 15 in strands so they can test it !! Samantha/Sabrina if that’s their real names were being very polite and nice. I then got an email blaming me for not using the right products !! I even sent photos of all my products. They offered me 30% off my next purchase!! Are you for real !! I wouldn’t purchase this hair ever again !! It’s gross and disgusting! It’s constantly snapping too. I don’t believe it’s double drawn.
I have spoken to Citizens Advice who have told me what route to go down. They won’t be hearing the last from me.

Hair is poor quality but expensive! The people that work there are Sarcastic and un helpful! DO NOT BUY

Worst hair I’ve ever bought after 1 wash it was so so dry and snapped all off, it was 24” to begin with but when I got them all out like 2 months later they were about 10”. Waste of money

I had GL extensions provided and fitted by my long term trusted hair stylist; for the first three weeks the hair was amazing… thick, shiny, healthy looking. After the third wash (washing and styling once a week using appropriate aftercare) hair took on so much water; swelled up to unreasonable degree and after drying I looked like I had just been electrocuted… hair because super dry, brittle, snapping off at mid lengths and after 4 months wear my stylist said it looked as though I had them in for a year! It started matting so badly it was impossible to wear it down; why bother shelling out hundreds of pounds to wear your hair plaited all the goddamn time? Ridiculous. Avoid.

I brought a 20” weft from the Russia range, first contact with GL I asked if it was half synthetic as was feeling and looking like clip ins once worn a couple times. The shedding was a lot coming from the top of the weft too.

They asked for my aftercare and they confirmed it was correct.
They wanted to send the hair for testing so I agreed.

Came back and said they couldn’t find anything in the testing but she would give me 30% to my next order. I declined and said I wanted a refund. I had the hair fitted for less than a month at this point.

They sent my hair back and it had been cut. All of a sudden my hair was all one length in the perfect straight line. The wefts had been hacked at the top.

I contacted them back only to be told it never happened and in other words I was lying.. I have photos of before sending the hair and after the hair came back and told GL I would be voicing my concerns so others are aware. Then I get offered a phone call, I took it. I was told the manager had already made her mind up and there was no changing it so the call was pointless, she told me to email the manager back and I did on the 18th March 2022 and I have had no reply.

Awful! First time having tapes in was so excited as I always used foxylocks clips ins which I love but wanted permanent hair. Wish I had seen these reviews first. The GL extentions felt so soft and silky and I was in love, that was until I washed them! My hair stylist recommended a shampoo and conditioner, blowdry lotion and oil to use which I purchased all of them and use how she said to use. The hair extentions went dry, frizzy tanglely after the first wash and have only got worse. Have had them in for 5 weeks I am booked in to get them taken out and put back in this weekend but I will be having them removed permanently. The amount of money I have put into these extentions to try and keep them nice I even bought a dyson hairdryer and a new shower head with a filter as I live in a hard water area and thought maybe that was why. But they are like straw. They actually feel like my synthetic wig that I have which makes me wonder wether they are blended hair extentions. Sorry for long review but I dont want someone to spend so much money like I have and be so disappointed. I would have rather spent a couple hundred more and got better quality as it is not something i can afford regularly and wanted them to last as long as possible. All I can say is I'm gutted.

Straw hair .no help refuses refunds . .

My boss brought tapes from glamorous lengths. When she first had them applied they slid out after the first wash the tape just wasn’t very sticky at all. So The technician re taped them. And they stayed in fine. The hair that they brought was the pure range and she’s had them for 2 months, used all the correct care and they are like straw, just don’t curl and mat up within minutes. Looking at the reviews now on glamorous lengths the reviews are shocking. I wish we had checked the reviews first.

Horrendous quality hair horrendous customer service. The hair went pink after one wash and I explained that I was a new salon and a new client but they didn’t care wouldn’t ring me back or talk to me or wouldn’t offer new hair. Would only speak to me threw email I asked if someone could call me and they said there isn’t anyone but here’s 20%off the next hair u buy. This company try to remove every single bad review from honest disappointed customer. They don't care about how they are a scam company. The numerous terrible reviews just prove how bad this company is. Avoid avoid avoid
Rubbish false reviews. Uses poor quality extensions. All her followers and Instagram is all fake. Check engagement rate using social blade. I would avoid anything to do with this person. Numerous reviews about this business and service. They get people to write fake positive reviews. Avoid avoid avoid. All the positive reviews here were manually invited to cover up all the awful true reviews. Google this company and you will see many many years of horrifying awful work and waste of money and time as well as hair damage. Avoid this rubbish company and their fake reviews. This company has many different names and fake reviews here on trust pilot. Glhair, Glamorous lengths, kbellebeauty are all the same person. Check net mums, salon geeks or Google them. Instagram same thing, numerous different accounts with bought followers, bought comments to cover up false trading.

I’ve had my weft since Feb 2021 and the quality of the hair is good ... until you wash it. Then it starts to dry out, snap and shed! I have used so many shampoos/hair masks/conditioners made specifically for hair extentions and they made NO difference in the quality of my hair. All my other friends have hair extensions from other suppliers and their extentions have lasted since August 2020 so it says a lot! I purchased the 22” weft and not even a month later I had to get them cut as they were snapping so badly and shedding (I never use heat on my hair unless it’s when drying them) and I had to get them cut to Atleast 18” which is so frustrating because they hadn’t even lasted a month! It is now May 2020 and I’ve removed them and purchased hair from elsewhere! I definitely will NOT be purchasing again, or recommending these to anybody else.

Do not buy from this company! I lost over £500 buying hair and products from them only to have the hair removed after one week of wearing it. I washed the hair once with their products and it shed so much, it was impossible to blend them in with my natural hair. The company blamed my after care which is a joke considering hair wouldn’t go like that after one wash, I used their products, followed aftercare, had multiple sets of extensions with no issues before and my stylist tested a left over unused strand with the same results. They ignore your complaints, remove any negative comments about them on their social media and even blocked me from their Instagram page. Absolute joke of a company. Please save your money and buy elsewhere!

Hair is mixed with synthetic hair i know this as I dyed mine dark and obviously synthetic hair doesn’t dye never had this problem with other company’s misleading website wasted my money not happy !
