Order never delivered and poor customer service

Suprised how this company did not bankrupt yet.
1 star is a lot for their service.
I ordered something to Luxembourg, which was shipped via Belgium depot. Never communicated, don't know why they have email address and phone number, days were passing by when I contacted them to know the status of my order and the reply was that the order was too heavy for them to deliver to my address.
So why did they pick the order? Why didn't they inform the company in advance.
I've never had such a bad experience receiving a parcel.
WORST COMPANY EVER, I DO NOT WONDER WHY THE VERY LOWWW REVIEWS

Plan second delivery = package loss

They give no choice to deliver in a drop place, like a shop or something, we add detailed information but they don’t respect anything. Every time I see a e-shop using them, I already know it is going to be a mess. If you are not there the day the drop the package the first time you can consider it lost. And their support is an absolute disaster.

Left he parcel one hour away instead of 1 minute away

Ordered something to Luxembourg, which was shipped via Belgium. They left a note, and I had to pick up. There were no redelivery options, and it was left at a small shop in another town. It took over 2 hours to retrieve the parcel and return via public transport. Other carriers leave packages with Post Luxembourg, of which there's a shop just 1 minute walk away; or a locker box outside the train station just 2 minutes away. I've never had such a bad experience receiving a parcel.

GLS Belgium is by far the worst delivery service I have ever dealt with


They send a message saying that i will receive a parcel, so i stay at home all day waiting for the parcel. In the end, they claim that i was Ii “not at home”, which is completely false. No delivery attempt was made and no notice was left in the mailbox.

This is the fourth time this exact situation has happened. Strangely, all other delivery companies always manage to find me at home without any problem. I honestly do not understand how this keeps happening only with GLS.

Because of this unacceptable behavior, I will cancel my purchase entirely and request a full refund from the company I ordered from, causing a clear loss of revenue. Of course, I will also formally inform the seller about GLS’s unreliable service.

Stayed home for a package, got mail that I wasn't home. Checked camera, delivery driver never rang the bell. Now I need to make arrangements for another delivery moment which is totally random. No telephone to call. Absolute worst delivery company ever

FAKE SIGNATURE!!!!!

My parcel meant for Luxembourg was never delivered, yet GLS had the audacity to mark it as “delivered” using a blatantly fake signature.
Not even an attempt at a real name — just a random scribble to cover up the fact that the driver stole the parcel.

This is not a “mistake”.
This is fraud, pure and simple, committed by a GLS driver who forged a signature to pretend the job was done.

The fact that GLS allows a driver to falsify signatures, steal parcels, and close deliveries without any verification shows shocking incompetence and zero internal control.
If this is how GLS operates, then the company has lost all credibility.

I am filing a police report for forgery and theft, because this behavior is criminal — not just unprofessional.

GLS Belgium (Luxembourg route) should be avoided by anyone who actually wants to receive their parcel.
At this point, trusting GLS is like handing your package directly to a thief.

If there was 0 stars, I would give that. WORST delivery service ever experienced:
- package (delivering food) 1 week late
- package damaged
- no possibility to call them or contact them easily when things go south.

Parce shop forced collection

Although we were at home, GLS claimed falsely that the driver could not find us (they never rang our bell despite full instructions given). So they obliged us to collect 2 parcels from a far away parcel shop with no other possibility for alternative delivery. This happened twice in the last 7 days. In addition there is no way to get in touch with their customer service. Avoid as much as possible.

the worst service ever

the worst service ever, the driver did not pass by nor leave the notice having lied that no one was at home. client support just said "sorry to hear" without doing anything. this is service that parasitizes on society. Drivers and customer service receive salaries without working.

Endless bad

Four times I received a message saying they could not deliver the package and that it had been sent back to their depot. I still haven’t received the package. We ar now one week further. Unbelievable that there are still companies using this courier service.

Terrible experience with GLS.

Terrible experience with GLS.

They delivered a package to my address by mistake, and when I told the driver it wasn’t mine, he refused to take it back. I had to pay myself to return a parcel I never ordered.

Now, after paying, they’re refusing to pick it up from my house, even though the package is heavy and I have no way to bring it to a parcel shop. First they make the mistake, then they make me fix it at my own cost, and now they’re not even willing to help.

Completely unacceptable service.
Avoid GLS if you value basic responsibility and customer care.

I am super dissatisfied

I am super dissatisfied. I have received confirmation that my order has been delivered to my neighbor and is completely a lie because it has not been delivered.This is very serious. This carrier is horrible if I could choose, I would never choose you. Super weak customer support. I hope I never have to receive orders from you again.

Delivery successful - no package

Made an order, the object camped in the depot for 1,5w. And then, when arriving home I notice the GLS van, I asked him if there was a package for me, but apparently only for the neighbour. Only to get a status 'delivered' 1 hr later, without receiving a package.

No way to contact GLS myself, so I have to wait for the seller to work it's magic.

And this is sadly not a singular event. I've gotten to a point that I will refuse to buy anywhere where they use GLS.

This company is a joke.

Recent experience from Belgium:
This company is a joke.
They cannot call you before they arrive, as the drivers have only private phones, so they do not call you in advance. You need to sit and wait the whole day and need to be lucky to get your items. Their tracking system is a total joke.
Sometimes they just do not find you, as your house is probably invisible.
When you ask to put your order to a concrete gls packet shop, they bring it to a random one, in the other side of the city.

Every single time I order something and…

Every single time I order something and they select GLS I have issues. This time was not different. Love tracking link works great but I had to watch the driver pad trough the intersection in my street 4 times to get a notification enable to deliver already at 3pm before the end of a working day.

Formal complaint to GLS came back with the answer we are overloaded and are unsure when we can deliver ?????
