Thieves: My package came broken and empty

My package came broken and empty. I order a very tiny product. The sender sent it out in a small envelope. It was broken from one corner and delivered empty. I paid 50 euro to get an empty envelope.

I only have bad things to say

I only have bad things to say about this company.

My package was supposed to arrive at my place in 4/5 days, but instead took almost a month. My days were spent contacting GLS Portugal (the place where it was sent) everyday as GLS Belgium does not have a working phone number. When I got in touch via email with GLS BE they told me my package was sent back, even though it was at their warehouse where it stayed for weeks. This was escalated with GLS BE saying they tried to call when no call was received.

After A LOT of requests from Eurosender and GLS PT to GLS BE to send my package, the 6 packages I asked for delivery came completely RUINED. One of the boxes was completely opened and filled with tape around it. They clearly have no care for their costumers things, the boxes were clearly rolled, kicked, shoved and thrown, because of this several things came damaged or broken. The bottom of the boxes was torn, and stuff obviously fell of it, as things were missing. Even a metal cashbox safe was dent an unable to open, as the code had been moved and also it came with traces of forced entry. Before packing, the safe was unlocked so it could be opened without the need to break it in case of check up procedures, as it could have been the case. However, nothing was ever reported to me. It is my third time moving countries, and the first time using GLS, nothing ever alike happened to me.

DO NOT use this company. I will also refrain to use any company that uses GLS.

Worst shipping company EVER

Not once have I had a pleasant transaction with GLS. Every time, there is misinformation, miscommunication, and parcels getting lost. This ongoing issue is incredibly frustrating.

You are such liars

You are such liars. Why do you even bother working? Why do you always claim that delivery failed when it’s clear you never even came near my door? I work from home, yet you continue to cheat and lie. Every time I get your terrible delivery service, you send the same false messages for days. I can’t stand it anymore. Please remove yourself from this service — you are pathetic. Even 1 star is too generous for you.

I could have give a big 0 for this post company. The worst ever! They send to me an email that they came to my place ut I was not there so they have delivered to a pick up store. This was a lie! I was home all the time and no one came. Then they send to me the address of the pick up store, but it turned out that it was not that address. Worst worst post company!!!

I am wondering how and why they are still in business. The say they didn't find you and then they drop your parcel off at the "nearest" parcel shop (6.5 km away!) If I see a website using them I DO NOT order!

Package never received .
They said that they can't locate it anymore after 2 weeks that they had it .
They put the status on Delivered and told me to contact the seller .
Lost money and time .

Bad bad bad!

De meest succesvolle bezorgdienst die ik ooit ben tegengekomen.
Op 28.06 zou het pakket om 13.00 uur worden bezorgd. Ik heb een halve dag thuis gewacht. De koerier heeft de levering zelf geannuleerd en naar het depot gestuurd! Vandaag is het 2.07 en de levering aan mij is nog steeds niet gepland!
Today 3.07 was again scheduled for delivery. The courier changed times throughout the day and ended up not delivering the package again! This is outrageous!

GLS never delivers home, I'm always home on the days they tell me the package will be delivered, but they never show up and drop it to the parcel shop directly ...

Very bad customer service! They lied.

Send a package to my father in law from Hungary to Belgium. Puck up went very fast and efficient. Tracking to Puurs in Belgium went well and transport was fast. Then it stopped, stayed in Puurs for 2 weeks before I sent an email. Answer: things were busy all was well, 2 weeks later nothing. New email sent by my sister in law. Answer: package was damaged, they had sent an email to sender (me) if we still wanted delivery. I have received no email at all! No package delivered.

Totally unreliable; untrue/misleading "(non-)delivery" info

Totally unreliable company (two recent experiences in Brussels city-center): (a) twice untrue and misleading information ("we delivered your parcel"--but a week later the vendor who used GLS to send my purchase informed me that indeed the parcel was returned to them (vendor); "you were absent", but I was there and even gave my mobile number in the door of the building), (b) no possibility to choose a date, no information about the delivery time period (e.g. two-three hours) of the given day; and (c) unhelpful and unreliable support service after complaining that the parcel was not delivered (first experience: Jan 18, 2024; second: Feb 13, 2024).

THREE times deliveries with GLS no shows

THREE TIMES all said they were delivered. We have a working bell, we’re home every time waiting specifically for them, video cameras show no delivery, neighbours have none either.
Today was 4 boxes (10, 10, 10 &12 kgs from Spain) email said delivered to our address … nothing

Worst logistic company

Worst logistic company, it’s how dishonest they are for me, they claim they delivered by parcel 22pm in the night how is that even possible. Lucky the sender agreed to refund but GLS is the worst, they don’t even have a number to call and the email communication is just like talking to a rock 🪨

The delivery company is very bad

The delivery company is very bad, first they misplaced my address, then they said that we took your package to the store, then I went to the store and it was not there, then they called again the next day and said that your package will be delivered today, and then called again an hour later that your package is in a warehouse in the city Dinze that is 20 km away from my address and you have to come and pick it up yourself

An unreliable company

This company sent me an e-mail saying that they had been at the door but we were not at home (which was a blatant lie in our case). Their customer service was unhelpful, my complaints were simply ignored (file closed without any reaction), although eventually (with a ten day delay) the goods got delivered. Consumers should consider avoiding e-shops shipping through this company.
