Awful experience with this company- they took a deposit for a property after knowing all of my details/income etc, then claimed the landlord rejected my application but they would keep the deposit. In the end I had to report this company to my bank, who sided with me and I managed to get my money back. AVOID

Scam company!!! They are dismissive and unhelpful. They will ask you the money upfront just to view the property not to mention this company is discriminatory against senior people. I will take them to court for being discriminatory against my mother who is 66 and said they would not let to her!! Stay away from scammers!!

I will start by making it clear that I have only just signed up with this company and have not much experience with them as yet, i stress this point to keep it fair with the company. The reason I am actually even writing this review is because I've noticed there are many mixed reviews either very good or very poor, but as I was scrolling through on review stood out to me and it's a red flag if anything, the reviewer states that they were required to pay a fee of £280 to gmk before they can even have viewings of properties and gmk themselves responded to say this is not true they do not request any payment to have a viewing, but I can confirm that today I myself requested a viewing for a specific property I was interested in and the receptionist on the phone told me I must pay £280 before she will even entertain the idea of a viewing stating that once iv made payment then she will notify the landlord that someone wants to view the property and within a few weeks I should then have a response with a viewing date. She also asked me what website of theirs did I register with making me believe this company functions under various websites with possible slight variation to their company name and operate in a different way so one of their sites will require payment for a viewing where there is a different rule /policy to be implemented. I will update my review if I go ahead and reel comfortable enough to hand over £280 for a viewing which this company themselevs have disputed they require this fee so who's pocket will this money go into really?

I have decided to update my review decision and do not feel secure with paying £285 to this company after much consideration it just doesn't make sense why anyone would pay so much just for a viewing and ontop of that still have to wait many weeks to view the property even after paying?! Maybe that is their way of being able to tell you the property has been let by the time those weeks have passed so you can't complain, maybe some or all of these properties don't exist and i do wonder about the legitimacy of these other reviews with such positive feedback. Iv chosen to stay away from them and would advice anyone else to. The £285 would have been fair if they imposed it as an admin fee on signing a tenancy agreement for a property fair enough but not for a simple viewing doesn't make sense .

I had a really hard time finding a place to rent until I came across this company. I applied online, paid for the service, and they helped me and my family secure a two-bedroom property despite having a low income. I don’t understand why some people call it a scam—my experience was completely different. They provided great support throughout the process, and I would definitely recommend them to all my friends!

I can't find a better company than this one. It's the best solution I've found for finding property with a low income. I've been using this service recently, and I was positively surprised.

BIGGESY SCAM, do not apply for any property from the company. Most of the property advertise are already let. They will take your deposit and will not refund your money. They took my money after sending emails stating that I no longer want the property and they’ve now said they will not refund because it’s been more than 12days and changed to staying that the landlord will keep my refund if I decide to not go ahead. DO NOT APPLY

Unbelievable people who stole from a vulnerable lady with a newborn baby do not bother with this nonsense company they will ignore you and not refund or find property for you ! SCAM

Thanks to this company, I was able to rent a property. I had very short time but their hard work helped me find the best property and the landlord accepted me. I'm moving! Thanks

I have joined the gmandk community in September to start searching for property. When I called the company they mentioned a holding fee that will cover the assistance in finding me a property. I was cautious, but they reassured me about the refund policy so I decided to go a head. I found the property from the landlord in my urgent situation. I have paid the fee but they succeeded help me and now I have new home! FOR ANYONE WHO CONSIDER GMANDK: I can say that free service didn't provide me help. This company took my needs seriously and guided me through the process.A big thank you to the gmandk team.

This company has taken my £285.00 pound holding deposit thus needs to be paid before you can even view a property I changed my mind asking for my money back within 24 hours they said to request this in an email I did this them 48 hours I have still had no reply about my having my money back phoned them again for the person to say i need to send another supporting email requesting my money back again and still no response honestly I wouldn't wasn't my time its a scam

If you decide to use GMK properties, please be aware that any problems you have they will not address. I reported animal abuse to one of the property managers and Her response was to call me, ignorant, and disrespectful. It has been a horrible time dealing with this property company. Please do not rent with this company

We are a couple with two kids, searching for a property where the landlord accepts Universal Credit. After being rejected multiple times by other agents, which was quite disappointing, I found this company, and they truly came through for us. They helped us secure a 3-bedroom property for my family.

Although it took a while—our first application wasn’t successful—the team was persistent, and with our second application, the landlord approved it. I don't usually leave reviews, but I know how difficult it can be to find a property, especially when on a low income. I highly recommend this company to anyone in a similar situation.

This is the best company I’ve used to help me find properties for Dss tenants. I’ve used their services twice for me and my daughter and the process never took longer than five days to view the property. All paperwork is done online, so I didn’t have to waste time to an agency for help. I found a one bedroom in London for my daughter They don’t asking many questions about income as other agencies.

Hi everyone,
GMAndK are not scammers. I made a complaint about an incident earlier over a miscommunication and I was proved totally wrong. Infact, I have never seen an efficient company like this in my 30 years in England.
I got upset over the whole situation, and I told them that all I wanted back was my money. Within 30 minutes, my money was refunded back fully.
Kudos to this company they are trustworthy and excellent.
