Used this company after seeing daft FB videos that made us laugh, but also instilled trust in the company due to their transparency. Are they the cheapest? No, but did we get great service and trust them, with a lovely clean and tidy vehicle? Yes. Would use again. Thanks!

Right from the booking, James and Stef were fantastic to deal with, everything was made easy, and super organised. We hired Barney for 4 nights, and took our two grandchildren and our dog away on a tour. Barney is a fantastic motorhome, very easy to drive, and exceptionally well set up, with everything you can think of to need, except a soup ladle lol. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. And totally recommend GoForth motorhome hire.

We hired Ronnie for 5 nights on the first week of August and we have loved every minute of it! So comfortable to drive and very spacious for 3 people! Highly recommend Go Forth! Motorhome hire as they have some really nice motorhomes to hire and we can’t wait for our next journey with them!

I rented the Home Sienna motorhome from Go Forth Motorhome Hire for five days in May, and I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The motorhome itself was absolutely fantastic. It was brand new, spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and equipped with everything we needed for our trip. It was comfortable, easy to drive, and made our holiday even more enjoyable.

What really sets Go Forth apart from so many other motorhome hire companies, however, is the exceptional service from James and Steff. Unfortunately, a lot of companies in this industry can feel untrustworthy or give the impression they're just looking for ways to charge you extra. Go Forth was the complete opposite.

From the moment we booked, James and Stef were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly organised. Every detail had been checked and reviewed before we arrived, so collection was smooth and completely hassle free. It was obvious they genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect before we set off.

During our trip, any questions we had were answered quickly, giving us complete confidence while we were on the road.

The biggest test of any hire company is how they deal with problems, and unfortunately we had one. On a very narrow road, we had a minor collision with an oncoming vehicle, which clipped part of the wing mirror. Naturally, we were worried about how the situation would be handled, but James and Steff couldn't have been more reasonable and supportive. They dealt with everything professionally, communicated clearly throughout, and, most importantly, only charged us the genuine cost of replacing the damaged parts. There were no inflated repair bills, no attempts to profit from the accident, and no unpleasant surprises. They were fair, honest, and understanding, which made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with.

That level of integrity is rare and says a lot about the business they run.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Go Forth Motorhome Hire to anyone looking for a high quality motorhome and a company they can genuinely trust. The motorhome was outstanding, but it was James and Steff's professionalism, friendliness, honesty, and customer care that made this a five star experience from start to finish.

We'll definitely be hiring from Go Forth again.

Hired Rosie for 7 nights van was absolutely brilliant every thing you’re going to need is there James was brilliant even phoning the night before I was due to get the van to say that it was ready early and did I want it great company to hire from will definitely be back

We took Bonnie up north for a week, she behaved impeccably and the pre-hire communications from the team was perfect. Bonnie was well kitted out with everything we needed and when we had a couple of daft questions, they were on hand to handle them. Great company with a great ethos.

The go forth moterhomes are great moterhomes we hired Douglas it’s small but has everything you need and a great size fridge with small freezer and great size cooker and a microwave and everything else you need in the kitchen lovely soft towels n clean bedding I would definitely hire from this company again they were always there at the end of the phone or WhatsApp to answer your questions and very friendly too

We recently hired a motorhome for ten nights and found the whole experience fantastic. The motorhome was immaculate and well looked after . They were a joy to deal with and looked after our every need. The motorhome literally had everything so as they say on their website you only need cash. Would definitely use this company again..

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent NC500 Adventure with GoForth Motorhome Hire

I recently hired a motorhome called Ronnie from GoForth Motorhome Hire in Cowdenbeath, Fife, for a solo trip around the North Coast 500 from 1st–8th June 2026, accompanied only by my dog.

After a straightforward handover from James, one of the co-owners, we set off on what turned out to be an unforgettable journey. Our route took us through Inverness, John O’Groats, Bettyhill, Ullapool, Skye and Glencoe, allowing us to experience some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery.

Before collecting the motorhome, I had watched many of James’s TikTok videos explaining how motorhome hire works, offering practical tips and highlighting places to visit. These videos were incredibly informative and meant I felt well prepared and confident before setting off.

GoForth's website says, “Just bring your clothes and money – that’s all you’ll need,” and I can honestly say that’s absolutely true. Ronnie was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday, making the whole experience simple and stress-free. James and Stef have clearly thought of everything.

The Scottish weather could certainly have been kinder at times, but that’s all part of the adventure! Most of the caravan and camping sites we visited were well equipped for motorhomes. It was simply a case of arriving, connecting to the electrical hook-up and enjoying the holiday.

From the helpful pre-hire TikTok videos through to collection and drop-off, the service from GoForth was excellent throughout. If you’re considering trying a motorhome holiday, I would highly recommend GoForth Motorhome Hire in Cowdenbeath.

Want a fabulous company! Second time I’ve hired a motorhome from James and Stef and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Motorhome are fabulous with everything you need included and are super clean, James is just lovely and so helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough. From initial booking to returning the motorhome at the end of our rental, my experience was trouble free and smooth.

The website gave me all the information I needed to select the size and most suitable of their motorhomes to meet my needs. The booking and payment process was all online and easy to complete.

On collecting the vehicle, James gave us a thorough orientation and demonstrated the features of the motorhome. We rented Buster, and he was immaculately presented and ready to drive away. Whilst there was a lot to absorb, James offered us 24/7 support should we have faced any difficulties. We didn't have any problems. We were able to collect Buster a little earlier in the day than expected as it was ready to go sooner than scheduled.

It was also the small things that made a difference. Water, tea & coffee for the first few days, and a number of games were provided should we find ourselves in need of some on-board entertainment.

During our trip on the NC 500, we dropped James and Stef a note or two just to let them know all was well, and we always received a response.

Returning Buster was easy. A brief check of the motorhome and a 10-minute feedback of any issues pr suggestions for improving their service, and we were on our way home. I had reported that we has lost an item during our trip, but James found it just as we were driving off.

Within 24 hours, we received an email to confirm the comprehensive check was completed and a copy of the transaction showing our deposit had been returned.

I would describe the experience with GO Forth as personal and friendly. James and Stef sincerely did make us feel we were valued customers. I would certainly recommend them and would use their services again without hesitation.
