Best rental I know of.

I use GoMore for 3 years as of now.
First time last weekend I had the issue with the owner of a car.

Ill never use gomore again

Ill never use gomore again. Everything was alright until I returned the car and the owner said that the keys wasn't there.
What the heck will I do with the key again? Steal it ? Go more wouldn't hesitate to charge me 3500kr if the owner didn't finally found it.

So , no matter what you say at the end of the day it's your word against theirs, but they'll send the invoice without any doubt.

I'd rather pay more next time to a proper car rental and skip potential stress and time waste.

Firstly, it’s important to us at GoMore that both renter and car owner feel safe using our platform and therefore we make sure to look into every case as closely as we can. When we reached out to you all we wanted was to make sure that we heard both sides of the story and also inform you about the possible next steps. When renting a car with GoMore the rental period is covered by a comprehensive insurance with a deductible of maximum 10 000 SEK per claim. However, it is possible to reduce the deductible to 3 500 SEK by purchasing a reduced deductible when booking, which is the option you chose. If a key gets lost the next step is to report it to our insurance company and if a new key needs to be made the renter pays an amount up to the chosen deductible as per the insurance terms. In this case however, we never debted or invoiced you any money. As mentioned we just wanted more information and let you know of potential next steps, which never became relevant.

Thankfully the key was found, but not until we had already reached out to you. Of course, in situations like this it can feel accusatory but we just wanted to make sure that you, as the renter, were informed and had the chance to explain your side. We’re very sorry if this caused you any stress!

If the owner of the car is misinforming you they don’t Care.
They dont intend to help you if you as a renter had been misinformated about the car and thereby get a Big fine.
Well i Will not recommend people renting cars here

In your case you rented a car in Sweden and drove abroad to Denmark, where you unfortunately got a fine due to that you drove the car in an environmental zone where this car was not allowed to drive.

We of course understand that this is a very unfortunate situation you ended up in, but you as a renter are responsible to check that the car you rent fulfills all requirements in the country or place where you are about to drive it. The car owner can not be held responsible for this kind of extra cost since he couldn’t know that you were going to that exact area on your trip.

Hope that you understand our point of view and that we have to follow our terms and conditions stating who is responsible for paying the fine.

Will be dealing with the ombudsman

My rental over the change of April-May went well.

The minor glitch happened with the seat belt buckle. It didn't function properly and the buckle was left in between of the closing door. A minor mark/bent was left, no paint issue.

I reported this as to be honest is the right thing to do.

I discussed with the owner this is really a guarantee issue - your car is new and the seat belt should work properly. But the minor mark is no real issue. We marked it down to report it in.

Now all of the sudden I have received an invoice of 9000 SEK.

This is a false invoice.

There are two major concerns:

1) it is a car guarantee issue. First and foremost.

2) if it was not a car guarantee issue, then the fault is so minor it would not require anything to fix it.

9000 SEK from your side/insurance company is preposterous and without any actual rationale.

We are sorry to hear about the damage on the car that occurred during your rental period. You as a renter are responsible for damages that happens during your rental period and the excess fee (if you haven’t reduced it) is maximum 10 000 SEK. When making a booking we always recommend to choose the option ”excess reduction” which gives you a maximum fee of 3 500 SEK if a a damage occurs or ”excess elimination” which eliminates the excess fee completely in the event something happens.

In this case I can see that our insurance company is involved to determine if the damage is something you will have to pay for or if it’s a guarantee issue. They are handling the case and have sent you the invoice, so they will be able to credit the invoice if that turns out to be the end result.

I could not even register to Gomore because I don’t work… we have to have a work to rent a car? Never seen such a company like that before! So I have money, I can pay if there’s a problem but still I can’t rent! I think that is a silly condition… sorry for the word!

In order to be approved as a renter at GoMore you need to go through our risk assessment and fulfill our requirements, therefore we regularly make credit checks to ensure our concept is safe for all users. If we need more information after the credit check has been made we may ask you to either upload a copy of your latest payslip, invoice issued from own business or documentation showing that you receive student support. Credit checks and risk assessments are done to be able to handle any possible costs in cases where extra costs might arise at a later stage, if a deductible needs to be obtained for an insurance case and also due to safety reasons for the users on our platform.

What a waste of time app/website.

What a ps app/website.. the idea is great and it seems very simple to rent a car through it. However, they haven't mentioned anywhere that I must wait for a credit check to be approved.. after a whole day waiting for them..I got a message saying that I need to provide proof of income 😬😬😳 as if I am buying a car not renting it... eventually, I went to gas station and booked a car instantly instead 🙃...very happy with the service from the gas station 😃
Definitely not worth even trying this app/website..Gomore should be ashamed of themselves

As a security measure GoMore validates all renters before the first time they rent a car. We then check identity, driver's license, background control and credibility. Usually this is done automatically when the user signs with Swedish BankID. If a BankID signature cannot be provided we instead request documentation about for example current income to verify the renter's credibility manually. The reason we check credibility is not only for the purposes of a single rental but for continuous use and also in case extra costs were to arise during or after a rental, such as in case of damages. Of course this documentation is only used for the purposes of verifying your profile and not shared with other parties or members. We only do the verification once and thereafter you can rent a car as often as you'd like.

Usually our verification process is very quick and you get an answer shortly if you need to upload any additional document. However, outside our business hours (evenings and weekends) the waiting time can be a bit longer even though we verify profiles regularly then as well. For example, if you send in your profile late at night you will probably have to wait til the next morning before you get an answer, if you haven't signed with BankID and been approved immediately.

We hope that you decide to give GoMore another chance.

It was really good experience

It was really good experience, everything was smooth. Only one thing to improve when i tried to contact customer care on saturday for increasing my km limit they are not attending or working on that. It would be good have support on weekends as well since weekends only most of the people will go for a trip and if they need some help it is not possible to contact your customer care.

Terrible service

Terrible service. All kinds of checks that are frankly not necessary to any other car rentals. Passport, drivers license, payslip (no alternative for those self employed) and credit check (despite there being no credit given) the company is making a easy service more complex, for reasons that have no logic. Poor customer service also, they take forever to reply. Never using this company again.
