This company is a disgrace

This company is a disgrace. Drivers cancel continually without any action from Grab, they take a cash Demolis’s from your card even when drivers do not turn up, the can tripe the price of fares randomly whenever they want, and there is ZERO customer service. You spend so much time looking for help in the app and finally get to an automated useless app that solves nothing. There is no phone number and and email address. It is impossible to complain about a driver or the company without giving up hours of your day. It is an utter disgrace and shame on singapore. Comfort and Uber were great until uber was kicked out of singapore and comfort reduced in size. We are forced to use this awful substandard company.

I’ve been a loyal Grab user for the…

I’ve been a loyal Grab user for the past seven years since I moved to the Philippines. But today’s experience was truly disappointing.

My assigned driver kept texting and delaying for more than 30 minutes, never moved from his spot, and gave no proper update. After all that waiting, he suddenly canceled the trip.

Now I’m late for an important birthday party, and I had to book another ride and wait another 20 minutes — standing on the street, completely inconvenienced.

Honestly, I don’t even mind waiting if the driver is really on the way. But what’s frustrating is when they pretend to come, waste your time, and cancel at the last minute with no accountability.

Grab used to be reliable, but now it feels like the service keeps going down. Drivers cancel anytime they want, and there’s no proper system or action from Grab to protect passengers.

At this point, even regular taxis sometimes feel like a better option.

Grab, please do better. Loyal customers deserve respect and reliability.

The prices are ridiculous for a grab

The prices are ridiculous for a grab. Normally at 20 dollar taxi ride and they charge almost 50 dollars because it is a Friday night. I use Gojek which was half the price. Grab is getting overrated and overrode taxi for different times of the day. I have been here for 12 years and they continue to use high rates for this taxi rides.

HORRIBLE SERVICES

HORRIBLE SERVICES! I have horror stories from this place. I am American and I was physically attacked by two people. When I called GRAB to get a taxi so me and my child would be safe and leave where we were being attacked TWO GRAB DRIVERS LEFT US AND REFUSED TO AT LEAST CALL THE POLICE. The first driver arrived while the attack was not going on nothing was happening. He put all of my belongings in his car. My Thai attacker told him something in Thai and the man took all of my belongings out including my dog out of his car and refused to take me or call the police for help. EVEN WORST, the man never canceled the GRAB for over 45- an hour so I continued to get attacked because I couldn't use that phone to call a GRAB. I then located my second phone to call another GRAB an guess what, the second GRAB DID THE SAME THING, MIND YOU THIS ATTACK WAS HAPPENING IN A GATED COMMUNITY on the outskirts of Bangkok. The second driver left me too and refused to call for help. It took three driver requests to get picked up.

I've had drivers steal my orders and taunt me over the chat and Gran did nothing.

My orders constantly arrive hours late and a few days ago I ordered three fruit orders and spring rolls and the food arrived sour and the rolls were missing! I never got it.

I contacted them immediately. They didn't respond until days later then they first lied and said that I never provided them with proof of photos which was a lie.

Then they said they saw the photos attached but I did receive my rolls with was a lie, i said, "Show me the photo then". Of course, they replied with no response just saying they won't refund me for anything. The order was nearly 450 baht. My next order was undercooked and made me sick. 🤢 They said send us the photo of the uneaten food, nearly 5 days later. If they needed that, they should have responded quicker. Of course it's been trashed days ago. These people are incompetent, rude, unprofessional, and the service is trash. The only reason why they are so popular is because they don't have any competition. They are 3000% times worst than Doordash or Ubereats in the states and they are highly unreliable and they don't care about customers. I can't even tell you how many times I waited hours for Grabs and they kept canceling for no reason, lying saying they've picked me up and they hadn't, or how many times a Grab driver dropped me off to the wrong location! They seriously need competition so we can have somewhere else to go. I'll sign up in a heartbeat.

“Terrible service

“Terrible service. They reply in a rude manner, they don’t deliver the order unless you pay extra, and all they care about is squeezing more money out of you. Go your way with that attitude.

Driver saw wheelchair user, and cancelled!

The Grab driver arrived, and promptly drove off as soon as he saw my elderly mum in a wheelchair. We waved, but he ignored us. Shortly, I saw that the driver had cancelled the ride. Drivers who discriminate against the disabled are irresponsible.

Scammers!!

spent nearly a month in Indonesia, relying heavily on Grab for transportation. Unfortunately, my experience was riddled with issues that left me feeling deceived and unsupported.

On numerous occasions, I booked rides that never arrived. I waited up to 45 minutes at times, despite Grab’s promise of compensation for no-shows. Not once did I receive the promised credit. Worse still, some drivers added unjustified charges—particularly in Jakarta—such as parking fees that should have been waived for short stops. It felt like a deliberate attempt to exploit tourists unfamiliar with local norms.

Customer service was equally disappointing. Communication was nearly impossible, with no effective English support and no resolution offered. The system seems designed to deflect accountability rather than assist customers.

This experience has left a lasting negative impression—not just of Grab, but of Jakarta’s hospitality infrastructure. I advocate strongly for transparency and fairness, especially when traveling with family, and Grab failed to meet even basic standards.

I will not be using Grab again, and I caution others—especially international travelers—to be vigilant and consider alternative services.

Worst customer support

I have vip status, I spend a minimum of US$1000 per month, I get constantly issues with orders, but worst of all is the customer support lol unfortunately I can’t share screenshot but they basically don’t understand English and close the chat after 2min of no answer (even though you have to wait for them minutes)

This is the worst application ever

This is the worst application ever. My driver never responded, I had to cancel, and the app still charged me a fee. Then when I rebooked, I ended up paying double for a ride I didn’t even get the first time. Why should customers pay for drivers who don’t show up? Completely unacceptable.

I have nothing to say against the…

I have nothing to say against the sympathic and working drivers and deliver persons here. All I'am complaining here is about the APP and the customer service experience.
First the APP contains a lot of bugs, the localization system is poor, as well as the ergonomy.
Secondly, the system of rewards and fidelity (In Thailand) is so much stingy like you don't have a free meal after 9 meals something like that no no no, you will have vouchers on items that are ALWAYS SOLD OUT, it appears like a scam on purpose.
Finally the drivers told me they take about 20-30% over the price of the ride, that means the driver only takes about 80%, which is so low kwowing he is doing 99% of the job.
IN SUMMARY : take the taxi or go directly to the restaurant because those will probably steal you less than this GRAB platform does.

I have some rewards in Grab but the app is very difficult to use. I accidentally use the wring voucher and asked to change before payment is transferred . I spent the whold join reaching out to grab but there is basically no way. I finally reach the chat box but the chat center is hopeless and useless. They r not solving my problem but just tell me nthg can bt done.I feel grab is just getting what they want from customer but they simply treat us without much respect.
