One day upholstery course. I contacted the workshop prior to the day and they were very helpful. On the day I arrived with my chair and materials and found to my delight that I was the only person attending. This proved very useful as there was much more work required than I first expected. David very kindly showed me how to strip down the chair, clean the joins, glue and clamp back together. Use of tools were explained and I safely used all the tools as required. When it came to the upholstery of the seat David made several suggestions of how it could be finished. Once I had made my choice, guidance and advice were patiently given. It took the whole day to complete the chair and I am delighted with the final result. Thank you David for all your patience and knowledge.

Just had a day with David on his How to Use a Router Class. The day was excellent with David making sure that he knew what each of us might want to get from the class. He took us from basics (including the very important safety aspects) through to producing some very hands on and satisfying router work. He took time to make sure that we all understood each aspect and covered a wide range of topics including what type of router to consider buying, the benefits of a router table, and considerations around bits and other accessories. I can thoroughly recommend David and this course.

This was a very useful, hands on day, learning how to use a router safely and effectively. David was very helpful and asked each of us what we wanted to get out of the day. I thoroughly enjoyed the training and now feel much more confident in using the router. I would definitely recommend attending one of these courses
