Working with Nina Francini, my Loan Partner and primary contact at Griffin Funding, was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I was applying for and closing on a DSCR loan for one of my investment properties, and she truly went above and beyond to make the deal happen.
Nina was consistently responsive, polite, highly qualified, and exceptionally conscientious about every detail of her work. Anyone who has applied for a loan knows how arduous and overwhelming the endless requests for paperwork can be, but Nina kept the entire process structured and manageable.

I just completed a DSCR financing with the Griffin Funding. The team I worked with, Matthew McCarthy and Summer Castillo did an excellent job from the beginning to the closing. I was very nervous doing a loan that many people even myself, have never heard of. Denise made herself available anytime I had a question. I had lots of worries but she had none. From the beginning, she told me everything was good. And it was, it turned out fantastic. No major issues whatsoever. Overall, I had a good experience with Griffin Funding. I first spoke with the team on August 21 and closed my investment-property refinance on September 17—an efficient timeline that was especially important because I needed the cash-out proceeds by a particular date.

The team was helpful in getting the loan through underwriting, clear to close, and into a mobile-notary signing. When I raised questions, my loan officer responded and helped provide clarification, including corrections to the final payment estimate and resolution of insurance-related questions before signing.

My advice to future borrowers is simply to stay engaged through the final days: review every cost worksheet and closing document carefully, ask for clarification on escrow, insurance, cash-out figures, servicing, and any prepayment-penalty terms, and request a direct title or closing contact for signing-day questions—particularly if you are in a different time zone.

Despite a few last-minute details that required follow-up, Griffin Funding delivered a successful closing on a fast timeline and helped me access the funds when I needed them.

Such an easy process! I worked with Nikolas Contreras. He was helpful on the phone with my questions. I was able to do everything else online and the HELOC funded in less than 2 weeks from application.

The Overall, my experience with Griffith Funding was positive, and most importantly, they were able to successfully fund my home equity line of credit.

The application process itself was easy and straightforward. Where I experienced challenges was when my application involved more complex questions or situations that didn’t necessarily fit neatly within the standard criteria. There was no opportunity to speak directly with a live representative or underwriter by phone to explain the circumstances or work through different scenarios. Most communication was handled through chat or AI, which made the process feel very black-and-white.

In my past lending experiences, being able to speak with a loan representative or underwriter has been helpful when additional explanation or clarification is needed. I think having that option would have made the process smoother and potentially helped the loan fund sooner.

That said, we ultimately worked through the issues and Griffith Funding was able to get my HELOC funded, which I appreciate. I would recommend them for the simplicity of the application process, but I think adding access to live support for more complex lending situations would greatly improve the overall customer experience.initial application was easy

There are companies that process loans, and then there are people who understand that behind every loan is an actual person trying to accomplish something important. Sarah and Nina at Griffin Funding fall firmly into the second category.

This is my second loan with Griffin Funding, and I have worked with Sarah for years. There is a reason I came back.

Sarah is exceptional at what she does. Financing is rarely a perfectly straight road—there are hurdles, questions, unexpected issues, and occasionally moments when you wonder whether something can actually get done. Sarah seems to have an extraordinary ability to look at a hurdle and immediately start looking for the way around it.

She doesn't simply tell you what can't be done. She looks for what **can** be done.

She worked tirelessly to structure the loan, explore the available options, and keep things moving until we found the right path forward. That kind of persistence is increasingly rare. You never feel as though you're simply another file sitting on someone's desk. You feel as though someone is genuinely invested in getting you to the finish line.

Once Sarah had everything moving in the right direction, Nina stepped in and was equally impressive.

Nina is remarkably efficient. Paperwork gets handled quickly, questions get answered clearly, and communication is effortless. She also has something that can't really be taught: she is simply very good with people. She's personable, professional, organized, and genuinely pleasant to work with.

And then there is their responsiveness.

I've worked with Griffin Funding for years, and throughout that time I have typically received responses within about 20 minutes—which by itself is extraordinary in the lending business. With Nina, there were occasions when I received an answer in less than five minutes.

That matters.

When you're dealing with financing, uncertainty creates stress. Waiting hours or days for someone to answer a simple question can make an already complicated process unnecessarily frustrating. Sarah and Nina remove much of that anxiety because you know that when something comes up, someone is actually going to respond.

That creates trust.

Ultimately, the best compliment I can give Griffin Funding is also the simplest: **I came back.**

After completing one loan with them, when I needed financing again, I went back to Sarah and Griffin Funding. And after my experience this time with both Sarah and Nina, I would do it again without hesitation.

If you're looking for a lender where people answer their phones, respond to their emails, look for solutions instead of excuses, and genuinely work to get a difficult transaction across the finish line, I cannot recommend Griffin Funding—and particularly Sarah and Nina—highly enough.
