Morrisons started life as a bustling egg, milk and butter market stall in Yorkshire back in 1899 – firmly planting its roots as a fresh-focused grocer with an appetite for providing quality and value on the same plate. Now, with 491 stores as well as a fast-growing online shopping service at Morrisons.com the business continues to focus on delivering freshness and quality to millions of customers across the UK - wherever they want to shop for their groceries. Foodmakers and shopkeepers at heart, we have over 9,000 trained butchers, bakers, fishmongers, cheesemongers and other skilled in-store specialists making more food in store than any other retailer. Morrisons is also the only British supermarket to have its own sites making meat, fruit & veg, fish, bakery and fresh food products – and is unique in preparing and making more than half of the fresh food sold in our stores.

Chloe at the Morrisons Welwyn Garden City branch is an absolute credit to the company. From the moment I approached the Oven Fresh section, she greeted me with a warm smile, outstanding professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help. Nothing was too much trouble, and she went above and beyond to ensure I had an excellent shopping experience. It's rare to receive customer service of this standard these days, and Chloe truly sets the benchmark for excellence. Morrisons is fortunate to have such a dedicated, friendly, and hardworking colleague. Thank you, Chloe—you made my visit memorable. Keep up the fantastic work
Morrisons. Leicester. Aylestone rd.
I would like to thank the African security guard, who went above and beyond , to get me a scooter trolley and charge it up before bringing it to me as he could see I was struggling. I don’t know his name. He is an absolute asset to your store. He is always polite and knows how to treat customers.
More proof of just how far Morrisons ahave fallen just got an email about my forthcoming delivery today (1412196474576) and there's a substitute ... they're substituting
Yutaka Silken Tofu 308g (380g)
with
Bolands Elite Chocolate Kimberley
I mean WTF is that all about? What sort of complete morons woud substiture TOFU with CHOCOLATE BISCUITS! I tell you i'm going to have just one more delivery with them to use up my vouchers and then i'm gonna delete my account because where as they used to be good they are now well over-priced, their service is really really poor these days and now they are employing absolute morons. No more, Stuff 'em.
EDIT Had a reply from their CS saying, and I kid you not, that sometimes stock is unavailable and we offer the "next nearest substitute"! How in hell is that anwhere near? This pathetic CS reply without even bothering to read what i wrots is exactly WHY I will be deleting my account.
This was my first experience of home delivery....shocking !
Ordered sandwich platters & fresh cream cakes. The platters arrived vertically in carrier bags with signage indicating arrows this way up! The cakes were flung in everywich way all squashed. Cream & chocolate smeared all over packaging.
When highlighted to driver....."I know its disgraceful how they pack them"
Intended for afternoon party at my community group....some presentation. Let down by Morrisons
Gave 2*.... at least they were delivered & on time
Booked 2 hire cars on Morrisons Travel & have received no more points. Phoned e-mailed & still no answers. Terrible customer service. Lost faith in Morrisons.
After being stopped coming out of Morrison supermarket Corby Northhands nearly two years ago.
The head office will never contact me they couldn't care less I am taking this further because there's such a cowboy company run by complete idiots they couldn't care less about the customers or their products and the way that customers are treated and leaving the store I was treated like a common criminal for no apparent reason with a receipt in my hand and told to come back into the store to be searched only then the lady manager at the time said let him go I know him.
I've written to Morrisons supermarket head office for two years no proper replies when they do reply we need more information they've had all the information they want but even then 2 two years ago I've written to them nearly 13 times with no reply I've even phoned and left messages customer services no reply let messages at the store for the area manager never contact me he was given my details on my card no reply his named is Gary as all I can tell you about him no respect for the customer at all l spoken to a so-called manager in Corby store Morrison's he tells me he gave the details to the area manager there's nothing he can do to contact me nothing so far what a wonderful company totally recommend to customers be careful leaving the store you could be stopped for no reason whatsoever even if you have a receipt in your hand your hand which I had sent the receipt details to Morrisons head office over five times no reply basically a cowboy outfit backstreet shop that's what they are. Every time I go into the store in Corby things out of date on the counter
rubbish laying all over the floor food out of date on the counter quite a long period of time no interest from the staff or management staff couldn't care less walk right past the rubbish on the floor and never pick it up run like a circus absolutely what a wonderful advert for a British company oh I forgot it's not British anymore run buy a foreign company.
Mr Charles Barrie.
Very poor company to get in touch with if you have an enquiry that does not involve any of their normal online/in-store services.
I want to talk to them about a health and safety matter but there's no way to do this.
Parked up to find two trolleys smash into the back of my car and do damage. Have details to manager in store at Chelmsford near Newland school.
Nothing done or passed on.
Sent email to complaints and still be fobbed off.
Trolleys should be secure now car has a scratch and dent.
Why did the manager take my details if he was going to do nothing.
And why are the complaints dept taking so long to keep getting the same message.
I will not stop til this is sorted.
Waiting at the till to be served whilst staff had a chat. The lady in front of me asked if they were opened. We were then served. No smile and in fact they were quite fed up.
England beat Mexico cheer up.
Stopping at the Skipton Morrisons Café was the worst decision of my day. I ordered the quiche salad for £7.50, and it was a complete letdown. While it was a mini quiche (fair enough), I explicitly asked for it hot, but it arrived semi-warm, tending towards cool.
The rest of the plate consisted of a mound of lettuce, two cherry tomatoes, a few green beans, a splodge of coleslaw, and about five slivers of raw onion. While some of it comes down to my own personal taste—as I don't eat coleslaw or onion—the true value of what was served still felt closer to £3 than £7.50, especially given the temperature.
I won't be going there again; I should have carried on further into the town centre. The only redeeming feature was the pleasant nature of the till staff—maybe that is what I was paying for?
My local Morrisons Store Walworth Road, The Cigarette Counter is usually busy with long queues. I walked in today to buy some cigarette and the queue was empty, I asked the woman serving behind the counter with short blonde hair who looks like a man if she had a certain brand of Cigarettes that i could buy, The reply was we haven't got any! Without even looking in the draws? So i went on my way to do my shopping, about 20 minutes later after my shop, I walked past the Cigarette counter again and still there was no Queues? I thought it very strange, It's usually very busy. The woman was standing there like a statue? I thought to myself, I don't think this woman is very popular?
Went to Morrisons Ecclesfield today as normal. What an experience that was.We use this store on a regular basis, but today we were really disgusted. No trolleys near the store had to go halfway down carpark to get one.Inside lots of empty shelves and water on the floor in many places only marked by a single.Very unsafe for everyone. All freezers shut off.Hot food counter shut.Really disappointed.I would love to hear a reply from Morrisons to this review but that won't happen.
I was disappointed to go to the pie country to fund after years of using paper bags they are now using single use plastic bags, at a time when there should be a commitment to stopping the use of single use plastics, I also note that when you buy loose veg because you don't want to use excess packaging the cashiers immediately put the items into plastic bags and get offended if asked not.
Morissons Chingford
Absolutely appalling how they treat their staff. Came in for bangers and mash in the restaurant and there were just 2 people working. A young black lady cooking and a lady serving. The cook was absolutely dripping in sweat and clearly overcome with the heat and volume of customers. The temperature outside was 35 degrees so she must have been working in 100 degree heat on her own!
I know for a fact that the cooks work through without breaks because I have been monitoring them for several weeks now. They started today at 10am and it’s now 2.30pm without a break.. THAT IS ILLEGAL!!! The poor girl was cooking, and serving, while the waitress was doing the rest.
Morossons is a disgrace and only care for their shareholders and profits. Ther get rid of staff and increase their prices almost on a weekly basis. Shocking
If you support this vile behaviour then bury your head and continue shopping there! If not, then shop elsewhere
My car was badly damaged by Morrisons' van delivery driver. No note or details left. They just drove off. I fortunately have evidence it was them which has been sent to Morrisons.
Morrisons are infuriatingly slow at responding. They don't answer questions and seem incapable of even simply acknowledging an email to confirm they have received it which is only adding insult to injury. Does Morrisons even care about my car, how I am to get around or the massive inconvenience this has caused, no. What sort of organisation is this, if your employee messes up, at least move at speed to put it right. I am truly shocked at how Morrisons are handling this matter.

Sheldon, Birmingham branch. Where to start?
The 'Down' travelator and both lifts out of action. Had to leave via staff lift. Also, no yogurts, butter, bacon, pies, ice cream, frozen fruits etc as fridges were broken. Oh, and no magazines in the Daily Mails (not unusual for a Saturday, sadly). I actually found them in a trolley next to the staff lift.
Apparently, this isn't one of the stores marked for closure. I'd hate to see the state of any of the ones that are on the list.

0000000.00000 Morrisons at Morley leeds are at it once again , I have a more card set up and use to do shopping for a disabled woman I go every morning for her usually . Morrisons have now removed my 5,000 points I had the receipts now say you have 80 more card points and I should set up a more card ????? ,what. This is how petty they are at Morrisons you couldn't make this up , talk about abuse of power which is covered by the 2005 abuse of power act , and the 2010 equality laws which are also being broken . They do what they like to males , you messed up this time as stated I shop for a disabled woman , messed up this time didn't you . 👏👏👏. Morrisons have not put my 5,000 points on my more card yet , they took them off because of my reviews and complaints about them ,

I am very disappointed with my online order. Three days ago, I ordered a 10kg bag of Laila Basmati Rice for £15. On the delivery day, I was informed that it was unavailable, and instead I received a 5kg bag. I don’t think this was handled fairly. If the product was out of stock, I should have been informed much earlier, not only on the day of delivery. It feels like because the price of the 10kg rice had increased after I placed my order, my original order was not honoured. This was a very frustrating experience and poor customer service. I expected Morrisons to fulfil my order at the price I had already paid or at least communicate the issue in advance. I hope Morrisons improves the way it handles situations like this in the future. I was putting my shopping through and was greeted by a lovely young man,Joe,at the Helensburgh store. Joe was friendly and engaging and smiled a lot. Quite refreshing to see. He was so polite that I hope I am fortunate enough to have him serve me again. Such a cheerful chap. He made my day.
