Best gym in Amstelveen. Great staff, great atmosphere.

One of the gym I have ever been, and I lived in three different countries. The staff is amazing. The coach named Mick is quite a fitness professional. Try the gym, try the cross training sessions.
Will change your life and your body.

I am training at this gym since a year. The environment is super cool, the staff is always able to help. All the machines are brand new.
I recommend it 100%

I like how friendly the staff was when I first came. They had a genuine smile and it felt very welcoming. They were extremely helpful with my questions and they gave me the feeling that I don’t have to look for any other gym anymore.

Gym that does exactly what you need a gym to do, effective, clean, lots of machines. Music could be a little louder, shower system not the easiest and therefore I never shower there. You can even do lessons on their schedule. If you need a regular workout for a very competitive price a month then this place is for you!

The manager is such a nice woman!! She really knows how to get things done. The place is clean and the workers here are very polite!! 10/10 recommend.

I am writing a review for Gymone Rotterdam.
I find it very relationally warm, the people who work their are very warm and approachable and are willing to answer any questions. I truly do find it a very pleasant experience everytime I go to workout.

I would like to especially point out, one of the managers, Alex. She is very attentive to everything that is going on in the gym and makes sure she is available if one has any questions. But also keeps everything in order. I have watched her do so many things, so fast yet paying attention to every detail.

Basically Gymone Rotterdam has a pleasant and family kind-of feel to it.

Maybe one nice addition would be to add, two more stair-master machines, because they are very popular with members. Otherwise 👍🏽

Asked to cancel 4 separate times - Gymone stated that it could not be cancelled early even if I paid the remaining balance for the whole year. I left the country with confirmation in writing that the account was clear. I then receive an email from debt collection agency that I did not pay for September when the account was cancelled in November.
This was paid then I received another email from same debt collection agency stating that I owed for cancellation costs even though I was forced to pay each month and they refused to cancel my contract.
I went 10 times to the gym and I had to pay two separate accounts for debt recovery after paying for the full year, the customer service is terrible I do not recommend using this gym to anyone.

Great Gym. Staff always Friendly

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Gym One. When I requested to pause my membership due to a medical issue, the gym initially stated that they required a doctor's note. After I pointed out that their Terms and Conditions did not require proof of injury or illness, they suddenly updated their contract overnight to include this requirement—clearly to cover the point I raised.

This behavior is not only unethical but potentially unlawful under Dutch contract law, as changes to the Terms should not be applied retroactively without proper notice. Despite several attempts to resolve this fairly, the gym refused to honor the original contract and insisted on documentation that wasn't required when I made my request.

Additionally, freezing a membership should be a flexible option for members, not something restricted to injuries. Life circumstances change, and members should have the right to pause their membership without facing unfair hurdles.

I would caution anyone considering a membership at Gym One to carefully review their policies. The gym may change the rules at any time to suit their needs, which is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this gym.

GymOne tries to charge 4 years of subscriptions after cancellation.

We made a Samen (together) membership in 2020 September. We soon moved and cancelled the membership in the 14 days cancellation period.

We thought membership was cancelled for good. Now they want payment for 4 years of supposed "membership" where we did not even know we still had a subscription. Ridiculous.

They do not respond to emails, just send the claim to collection agency.

We revived incasso from this poorly managed organization! They request us to pay while we unsubscribed in 2021 !!! We have not been members ever since !!!! Shame !!!

My bag was stolen from the change room as i was in the bathroom and they didn't want to do anything about it. Couldn't even check the camera to see who took it.

Just have a one suggestion, maybe it will be nice if they can bring armwrestling table in gym, I think it will be very interesting.

Horrible experience unsubscribing. I was debited after cancelling my joint subscription with my roommate in 2024 January.

My roommate try to email and ask for help at the help desk for months with no luck. Then, I got an email that my debt, since I refused the payments, will be passed to a debt collecting agency. Then, I emailed customer support they just sent me a year-old document, which proved that I subscribed in the first place, saying they got a new subscription from me after cancelling. They provided no further help or effort to solve this problem when I, a customer was clearly not happy. Then, my roommate called them and resolved the issue. This process took months.
