Adjustable dumbbells were delivered quickly, easy to assemble, and so far seem sturdy and just whatI needed.

*DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE* I ordered a set of 3 dumbbells and 3 kettlebells at the the beginning of June. Todate I have received one of each set. I have had to jump through hoops to finally be told I can send back the two sets I have received but will have to pay postage!!!! I will then receive a refund for the items I haven't received WITHOUT postage. WTF!!!!!

Great service throughout, quality built dumbbells. Fast delivery, Gym sets even contacted me the day the equipment arrived to let them know if there was any delays or issues. Fantastic service throughout.

Fantastic service from start to finish. The kit arrived in great condition in a matter of days and we were kept in the loop with tracking etc. Easy to put together and quality equipment. Highly recommend Gym Sets LTD and will purchase more in the future.

This has been, without question, the worst online buying experience I’ve ever had.

Almost immediately after placing my order, I requested a cancellation and refund after discovering the overwhelming number of negative reviews about this company. Instead of simply cancelling the order, I was told it was “too late” and that I would need to refuse delivery at my doorstep to trigger a refund. I followed their instructions exactly.

What followed was weeks of endless emails, excuses, and being given the runaround. Despite doing everything they asked, no refund ever arrived. In the end, I had no choice but to raise a chargeback through my bank. Thankfully, the bank recovered my money just over a month after I placed the order. Had I relied on GymSets to honour their own refund process, I have no doubt I’d still be waiting.

The complete lack of customer service, accountability, and honesty is appalling. A business shouldn’t make customers fight to get their own money back after following its own instructions.

Avoid this company at all costs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend buying anything from GymSets. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Complete scam artists. They are selling wearhouse returned units that are damaged and not declaring it on the product page. They use dynamic pricing so if the deal seems too good to be true, it is. After I brought the leg extension machine for £190 it jumped to £230 for the next unit, as the other units must of been better condition. Mine turned up with missing instructions, missing pin to keep the seat locked and huge amounts of damage all of over the unit, it had clearly been shipped out before, mis handled by the customer and sent back. Shamefull from GymSets. Support is awful, they sent a pin out and offered 10% off my next order, you can get 10% codes from anywhere so that’s just an insult. I’ve already contacted trading standards so hopefully they will fix this company up. I would personally pay extra with brands like Mirafit who I’ve never had an issue with. They are also doing daily fake reviews, loads of profiles with only 1 or 2 reviews is obvious.

I was pleased to find a company that sold single weight plates rather than having to buy a set. Good price, well packaged and postage to Northern Ireland reasonably priced. Very happy with my purchase.

I have used this company twice now, i was impressed at receiving a email after my first order asking if everything was ok with my order.
second time using them i made a mistake on my order and when i contacted customer services to see if anything could be done, it was sorted straight away, customer service couldn’t have been better even answering my emails even after hours, i was given a refund (credit) to reorder that i was told would take upto 48 hours, this actually came through in 15 minutes, quality is excellent and i would deffinately reccomend and use in the future

Recently bought the adjustable dumbbell and barbell set. The weights are exceptionally good value for money. Delivery was super quick and based on recent purchase would definitely buy again from this company

Apparently it’s been past to the right department but yet I had the same thing weeks ago so looks like I’ve started this part again

This is horrendous. Some people would have saved for ages to purchase a Pilates reformer and wouldn’t be able to look else where because they do not have money back.
I purchased it in may, returned very quickly but yet nothing
On here they say all the right things but believe me this is far from the right thing.
At most should of taken 2 weeks
It’s ok reading the good reviews and I’m sure some people are very pleased but I’d be careful
So many other companies that are priced as reasonably but without all this hassle

Actually it was a number of faults reported and it looked like it was not even new.
And yes I did say perhaps I’d have the other kind of reformer but then said no a refund please, actually numerous emails asking to be refunded.
Please read the message you have all sent as you did not offer the more expensive reformer without an additional charge .
I have stated for many weeks now I just want a refund.
You stated the damage was due to delivery, again emailed to me. Altho I honestly believe not done by delivery and that it was just shoddy. Yes one of the reasons was definitely because it wasn’t sturdy but it had many other reasons (you agreed with)
A refund is what I would like and shouldn’t have to keep chasing this up. Let’s hope it’s sorted I. The next few days
Please do send any more emails asking ifiwant a replacement, i do not and that’s made very clear in emails and here.

Got the support needed when the order got delayed, great team

I had a great experience buying from Gym Sets LTD. I bought a set of 15kg hex dumbbells as soon as I bought them they were sent out to me and received them the next day they were marked as ‘B’ condition but when I opened the box they were shiny and brand new and they were less than half the cost of any other set I could find online anywhere. I found all their prices to be the most competitive anywhere and they had a great selection to choose from. I highly recommend this company and will certainly be buying from them again.

My order was processed and delivered promptly, the product was of high standard at a very good price. I would 100% recommend.

The product arrived faulty. The company refused to arrange a return. The product has been sitting in my flat for 3 months now. Very poor customer service and communication with several days delay between responses.

I do not accept that summary. It materially mischaracterises what has happened.

I reported that the bike arrived damaged and rejected it under my consumer rights. I asked for the damaged item to be refunded and collected.

Your team did not simply accept the item was faulty and resolve it. For several weeks, the issue was repeatedly minimised by Gymsets as “cosmetic”, “fully functional”, “safe to use” and within your quality standards/warranty terms. My rejection/refund request was not accepted properly. Instead, I was offered replacement parts and escalating partial refunds, including 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and eventually 40%, all of which I declined because I had rejected the item and did not agree to keep a damaged bike sold as new.

I also do not accept that I caused this to drag on by refusing reasonable solutions. I have repeatedly confirmed that the bike is available for collection. What I refused to do was dismantle it, send parts separately, source packaging, buy a box or wrapping materials, package it for your courier, or accept responsibility for courier refusal, missing parts, inadequate packaging or transit damage. Those are Gym Sets Ltd’s return logistics, not mine.

Your point about the damage being caused by your courier is not relevant. I bought the bike from Gym Sets Ltd. If it was damaged in transit, that is a matter between Gym Sets Ltd and its courier or supplier.

I do not recall a clear earlier offer to send a brand-new replacement bike. If you say that was offered before this reply on trustpilot, please identify the dated email where that was set out. In any event, I am not seeking a replacement now. This matter has gone on for months and the outstanding issue is removal of the rejected bike from my flat.

I even offered a practical compromise - if Gym Sets Ltd paid for and sent suitable packaging materials, I would make reasonable efforts to wrap the bike without accepting responsibility for courier acceptance, transit damage, missing parts or packaging adequacy. That was also refused by Gymsets.

Please do not frame this as me declining all solutions. The position is simple, arrange collection of the bike as it stands, send and pay for the exact packaging materials required, while accepting responsibility for the return risk.

Awesome product, Awesome price and quick delivery. Packaging was great too. I love the plates, I would be happier if there was an option for collars rather than springs.

Just to update - 44 emails now exchanged since purchasing faulty goods in November 2025 and still no refund.
My previous review received what was presumably an AI generated response feigning interest from the company in resolving the issue (no legitimate human effort ensued). No doubt this post will generate similar.

I have of course given up and am now pursuing the legal route.

I should also point out that the items that did screw together are of dreadful quality and are still covered in some sort of industrial chemical that has resisted five hot, soapy washes.
It will be interesting to see which kills me first- neoplasia from these compounds, blunt trauma from the collapse of the smith machine onto my throat or the maddening frustration of dealing with these filthy jackals

Products are well priced and good quality. Delivery is quick too.

We purchased a squat rack and flooring, delighted with them.
