A good soap case, doing easy using solid soaps.
With few water, do all the job.
Before cleaning it, with last soapy water, you can do another wash or use for hair.

Handso is really great. The soaps are really nice and feel great on my skin but only the smell of the soaps is ... well ... too masculine for me personally. I would like it to be more fresh or floral.
Shipping was super fast.

If only Handso worked as intended!
I was one of the people who backed the product on Kickstarter; I truly believed in the product and was excited to test it.
Well, first I waited over a year to receive the product but that kind of stuff happens, especially in the wake of Covid.
However, once it finally arrived it had a few flaws; the silicone strap placement makes it so that the case can’t close properly and the silicone bristle part was also extremely hard to get closed inside the “cap”. Furthermore, the magnet holder never worked despite following instructions.
As for function, the Handso worked as intended for maybe a month (if I’m being generous). Water and foam started leaking out between the casings and whatever foam you did end up creating ran out through the drainage hole and not the center of the bristles. I thought it must be an issue with a blockage and/or soap scum build-up, so I tried to rinse out the whole thing, including the small filter in the center of the silicone bristles; which then promptly popped right out and was a right pain to get back in place. Well, cleaning the product out entirely didn’t do anything to help. It simply just doesn’t work for longer use; not exactly the sustainable product I thought I was getting.
Since fall 2023 my Handso has just been hanging limply in the shower, it’s only purpose now reduced to collecting limescale and reminding me every day of what could have been.

I always loved taking shower with soap instead of gels. It feels cleaner, I don't know ☺️ but it isn't very practical.
But with Handso it is practical, easy, clean and very fun!
Wonderful invention! Love it!

Nice and sturdy tool!
The design is very cool and they really thought how to make it convenient, effective and useful. My hands are a bit small, but I was still able to use Handso quick and easy.
The soap bar smells so good!

Very fast delivery, and I'm so happy that this was invented! I'm very hyped and happy.

The case itself is very good and works well and exactly as promised. The ginger-orange body soap smells very good. I can't give 5 stars though because after only a few hours the magnet crashed and both handso cases dropped in my shower. Although I had applied them exactly as suggested. That's a shame and almost crashed my newly acquired product.

I have been trying to use Handso for just over a month. The key word is "trying". It doesn't work and makes your morning shower rubbish. I bought this as I have been gifted soap over the years but I have always stuck to shower gel because I like lather. This tool was seemed like it would let me use my soap, while replacing the need for shower puffs, sponges, etc. In theory, great lather in the shower, good impact for the environment.
I started with using their soap. It produced a little lather but I did not love their soap as they are pretty much unscented. I do like a burst of scent in the morning. I went on to use my own soap and this is where it pretty much stopped working. No lather unless you constantly shake and press the central button. The reason is "normal" soap clogs up the device.
I contacted customer service who told me it really own works with their soap. Their soap is £6 a bar and lasts 12 showers. So now along with this expensive contraption, I now have to spend £15 a month on soap. In addition, they said to switch off the water when using the item on your body to get lather. In the middle of winter I will not be doing that.
Finally they recommended that I remove the filter if using soap not made by themselves. I did that but all that happens is the water pours immediately out.
I just find this a really dishonest product. It doesn't solve wastage, as you can't use existing soaps with it. In order to keep using it you would need to spend £15 a person a month on soap, which is ridiculous.
I imagine many people who end up buying this will go back to shower gel and a sponge, and this will be another item adding to landfill.
Update to response below:
I do not require a refund. I understand that Handso is a small company but I do stand by my review. If you read the positive reviews there are alot of comments showing people are using the item differently than intended. More work is required to make this a usable product.

I wish this was invented when I was younger, it would have helped so much with my sensitive skin that has patches of dry flaky skin that other "scrubbers" would feel like sandpaper on!
This cleans gently but effectively and it doesn't irritate my skin!
I love that the soap fits right inside and just a little bit of water creates ample, gentle lather and there is no soap residue left behind on my skin!

I bought it because I use solid soap and this product is very useful, practical to use in the shower but also very convenient to carry. I was pleasantly surprised by the highly scented and skin-friendly soap bars. Perhaps I would have preferred a slightly more ergonomic shape, but I am very happy with the purchase even so.

Great product that works well with their soaps. Cheap everyday soaps will clog up the valves. Bought a few as gifts too as it gives a pleasant bathing experience. Plus trying to get away from single use plastic bottles. Their soaps lather well, smell fantastic and don’t dry out the skin. Just wish their soaps were a little cheaper in price.

I’ve been using soap bar for years and always want something like handso using soap bar and a bath sponge at the same time. So I gave it a try and the delivery was a mess but Handso team helped out finally got it in a month. Love it instantly. The outer silicone wasn’t perfectly fit the lid but that is very easy to fix. And now is all good. I bought a couple more for my friends too.

Let's be honest: this product needs some improvement. It's not bad, but it could be better, I'm happy with it - thus the 4 stars - but keep on reading to see how I worked around its downsides!
I have been using the product for 3 weeks now.
PROS:
~it's a good quality silicon sponge, it scrubs really nicely and it's easy to maintain clean and tidy.
~it's comfy and easy to travel with, its drying up feature makes it super handy.
~what is supposed to be the chamber for lathering up is actually a good storage compartment that can take easily half standard soap bar, so it's just perfect, again, for traveling.
~it can be the ultimate sponge, environment-friendly, helping reduce plastic waste.
CONS:
~it's somewhat pricey for a sponge, but if you think of it in terms of investing it's actually okay. You might not have to buy another sponge again.
~when compared with normal sponges it's less soft and less foaming, which brings us to the next point, and the most "painful" one...
~it actually defeat its own purpose. Yep, that's right. This product was designed to make it easy and comfortable to make lather and soap yourself up, but the reality is that it just doesn't. Not only it takes a while to get a good amount of foam (which is fine, we're in no hurry) but the thing is that it doesn't last long, forcing you to constantly make new lather every two or three passes. Now, it's true it might depend from different factors, like the type of soap you're using, or the type of water you have in your area, but if you have to stick to their proprietary soap bars only, well... it's going to turn into a quite expensive crusade, because their bars are teeny tiny, and the same type of soap you can findin retail it's really expensive.
CONCLUSIONS
My opinion is that the lathering chamber might be improved in order to provide a more effective foaming. However, as I said, I'm pretty happy with the product and the way-around I found to use it (basically as storage - I would take out the bar, soap myself with it and then use the silicon sponge to scrub; once finished, clean everything, put back the soap bar and leave it dry), and I also think the guys behind it are to be praised for the effort, but I'm pretty sure the product can be improved, though even like this I say it's quite okay.

The price is a bit high, this held me back at first, but it is all worth it. Very comfortable to hold in the hand, great massage effect, and finally I found a way to finish the soap bars to the very end.
I already ordered more Handso's, for myself and as gifts, I'm sure that my friends will love them as much as I do.
One little minus: the magnet does not stick very well. After 2 days it fell off.

The product is ok but what about when the the silicon part needs a change ? it would be great if theu could sell dissembled parts of Handso, instead of buying an entire new product

Had a problem with delivery and Handso provided a hassle free solution which was most appreciated. This product is excellent and will quite literally play a small part in reducing plastic waste to contribute to the well being of Mother Earth ☺️

Used 4 days the soap with aloe is great with my sensitive skin, the handso feel solid in your hands while using it, a bit slippery towards the end but with the lace included you won't drop it. The brush seems durable, no changes at all by far. I recommend it

The idea behind Handso is fantastic. The realization a little less. For example, the hole where to insert the string to hang it is practically completely covered by the outer silicone ring and can not be inserted. despite the vigorous removal for about a minute, the foam produced is not enough to lather the body properly and this causes a friction between the silicone brushes and the skin. Having sensitive skin causes a slight irritation that still disappears with rinsing. But the experience it produces is not pleasant and relaxing as described. Although recommended for use on hair with dedicated soap, the feeling is the same as already described. In addition, the overall cost (I bought two to use two soaps, one for the body and one for the hair) seems excessive.

An an early adopter, I was one of the 1st group of people to invest in Handso. The wait was very long (Covid), but what can you do about that?
Initially I was very impressed withe Handso, but alas, it has bee a waste of my money as it is now redundant: the small disc between the silicon bristles and the reservoir has popped out. Even after it was reinserted it does not work.
What a shame. Nearly 3 years of waiting for this... back to the flanne then...
