I previously had a positive experience with Peter and gave him a 5* review. I started out with a small job that was done professionally, on time, on money. Everything was wonderful!

Alas, this wasn't to be my experience with the next project: a redecorating of my maisonette, including a total bathroom refurbishment.

Peter is knowledgable, though sometimes will look for shortcuts when he doesn't know a new technology he needs to get up to speed. On the whole, when he's on the job, and has time, he's very meticulous.

Unfortunately, when he has multiple jobs, the work quality drops dramatically. The worse part of the experience is when he's so overwhelmed, or for some other reason, he doesn't communicate. And you are given the silent treatment. So you don't know what to do.

After 1.5yrs from when I started the redecorating, and after having no working bathroom sink since May 24, I've decided to get other tradesmen to finish all the bits and bobs that have been left incomplete/need to be redone due to bad workmanship (such as the sink). I'm now paying twice for jobs, and I ended up doing some of them myself, just to finish things off...

Sadly, though he's good, and diligent, he's simply unreliable. Be very cautious...

Peter was absolutely brilliant. He inspected the job, gave me a quote, explained the process. Arrived as agreed, delivered as agreed. Now my loft is hospitable, useful, clean and tidy. I can sleep easily without the worry of the loft ‘hanging’ over me. Peter has been reliable, communicative, trustworthy, and very thorough with his job! What a pleasure to work with! Thabk you!

I wish I could have the positive experience as the comments on Peter's website however he did not show up to our appointment. He is not picking up phones despite all calls and messages. I am no longer waiting after 1.5 hours of delay with no information. Make sure you have a lot of time to waste if you want to hire him.

I had a great experience with Peter on a skirting board job. Nothing's too small a job, he responded quickly and visited on-site before quoting - and most importantly did the actual job quickly, to a great standard and at a reasonable cost.

He can also cover a variety of specialty areas so you're not left project-managing a small army of individual tradespeople.

Highly recommended!
