DO NOT PURCHASE HANS GROHE KITCHEN FAUCET.
Hello Hunter Lanius:
Thanks for your prompt response to m email.
Let me quote the warranty coverage for Hansgrohe products purchased after 01 Mar 1996 in USA ((Our product-Talis C-04492800 Kitchen Faucet purchased from Costco, Bloomfield Twp, MI, USA on11/13/14):
"WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY"
"The warranty only covers your Hansgrohe manufactured product. Hansgrohe warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship as follows:
Hansgrohe will will replace at no charge for parts only or, at its option, replace any product or part of the product that proves defective because of improper workmanship and/or material , UNDER NORMAL INSTALLATION, USE, SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE. If Hansgrohe is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not practical or cannot be made in timely fashion, Hansgrohe may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product."
This product has been used "UNDER NORMAL INSTALLATION, USE, SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE" since purchase and installation "primarily for.. .household purposes, the warranty extends for along as you own the product and the home in which the product is originally installed."
As we continue to own the home in which this product is installed, we expect that Hansgrohe will repair or replace this defective product under this written warranty.
If Hansgrohe continues to reject this warranty claim under weasel clause of "normal wear and tear", our response to claim rejection will be to file complaints of "deceptive warranty statements" to both the Better Business Bureau and Costco Warehouse Club.
Please send replacement of defective parts, or replacement product to:
