Mijas Spain
We stayed in Mijas Spain. We stayed in a gated complex in a penthouse 2 bed apartment. Initially a wow place, but on closer inspection, the spiral staircase upto the roof terrace seemed unsafe, loose bars and severe rusting in places. Beds very firm, no protectors, pillows stained, mattress toppers in wardrobes seemingly unwashed. A shower curtain pole broken with a mouldy shower curtain. Food stuffs left in kitchen cupboards clearly unusable. We had no Internet for the first several days, but eventually sorted. The door on the balcony seemed weird to us, only a handle on the inside with no lock, what if there were children staying? They could open it easily.
The property needs attention .

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Nice!
We had a fantastic experience staying at a beautifully decorated apartment in Nice. The attention to detail in the decor made it feel cozy and welcoming. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made our stay comfortable and stress-free. The location is perfect, just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. A great panoramic view over the valley…
A great panoramic view over the valley and to the lake;
clean rooms with good furniture and ideal for three persons; a parking place in the garage was very well for our little car (SUV may have a problem);
booking and arrival was organized very well, a little problem was solved immediately;
location and size of the pool is really wonderful and special, disadvantage is the closing time of the pool at 4pm and it was difficult to find sun loungers and umbrella.
The appartement should get a little bit of renovation because of damages to the plaster (or damage of the wall? ) and it is badly soundproofed. Nevertheless Casa Turchese
is really a good place for little families to relax and enjoy the beautiful lakeside.

The air condition is not enough for the whole house
I love the house in Verona italy is beautiful and spacious,and also the enviroment is beatiful. Parking space is always available. Only the AC was terrible. I will definitely visit again, but hope by then the Air-conditioning will be very effective.

Great value for money and just 10 minutes on foot from the centre of Zagreb. Super smooth check-in and the amenities were perfectly placed to ensure we did not have to look around for anything.

The location perfect for trail running…
The location perfect for trail running trainning or hike and is very calm area .Dislike the sofa and beds.Very difficult to rest properly on that sofa.I use the beds.

Nice apartment- but needs air conditioning or fans. Also, cleaning, new bed linen and towels should be provided if you're staying for 2 weeks.

I enquired when booking a property in Malta if there was air conditioning as it was not listed the reply I received was as follows: “the property does note air conditioning available”. On this basis I booked and arrived assuming there was air conditioning. There was not and the house was horrendously hot in 36 degree heat. I contacted happy rentals and they basically said the email should have said NOT instead of NOTE, a typo and basically tough! I tried to explain that the typo completely changed the implication of the sentence but again was told tough! I have requested to speak to someone further and they are now ignoring my emails.

We have received many emails regarding your complaint and we have explained many times already that the property you booked through Holidu does not have AC. So at the time of booking you were already aware that there is no AC. You could have also checked this on Holidu and your confirmation.
My colleague made an honest mistake and wrote note instead of not. We apologized for not writing perfect English and your reply was that you wanted to speak to a colleague based in the UK.
We understand that you do not agree with our reply and we acknowledge your right to express your perspective online, but the fact remains that the property you booked never had AC and Holidu confirmed the same.
Our advise is to always check the ad carefully and ask questions about it before you make a confirmed booking.
