I like the earplugs, but disagree with the price increase. In October 2022, one pair of the original cost $17.50 ... by February 2025, it increased to $22.50 ... and now in June 2026, they cost $25.... See more

Not at all cheap. I ordered the large option and they are too small. They float in my ear offering no sound reduction benefit at all. Also pay close attention to the return policy.
I am not sure how it is applied as i havent had a reply to an enquiry about returns
I ordered the discovery pack and none of the sizes worked - I could hear everything - and they made my ears sore. I wrote to Happy Ears just asking for advice and they refunded me immediately and told me there was no need to return. 10/10 for customer service.
Muffled sound only very slightly - poor given their claims. They would not stay in properly and are quite fiddly to get in the right position in the first place. Different sizes are a good idea, but none worked. Would not recommend.
Bought the ocean plastic discovery pack because they were advertised as comfortable for sleeping. And after over 5 years of living in a place with neighbours who apparently don't sleep at all and are very loud at night, I'm just desperate to get my sleep.
Unfortunately these do not block any noise and they hurt my ears so bad that if it isn't the noise, the pain alone keeps waking me up. I sleep on my side and the earplug stub just keeps pushing the plug against my ear, causing a lot of pain.
How come companies don't consider things like that in their design?
Another waste of money and waste for the environment.
They don't block out sound nearly as well as foam earplugs. I'm a light sleeper and they did not work. Back to foam for me.
Although the earplugs did not work for me. It was very easy to order and their customer service is fantastic! I also appreciate their eco friendliness and they are reasonably priced.
I’m using for several months to sleep. I’m finally sleeping well. They stay all night (large size). I’m super happy. Also amazing costumer service. I ordered another pair yesterday but by mistake, I ordered the medium size. Immediately sent them an e-mail at 10:30pm, asking to please replace them with large size. They immediately answered me saying they changed the order and today is already shipped. 👌🏼
After seeing very good reviews online for Happy Ears I gave them a shot. I had been using mouldable silicon earplugs which are good but are not re-usable so there is a cost and environmental element that HappyEars solve.
I purchased the Ocean Plastics Discovery Pack to see which size I would need. The delivery was quick and I got to test them out right away. Unfortunately, my right-sided ear must be a weird shape because none of them would fit. I requested a refund and within an hour I had been refunded and a personal email received thanking me for trying them.
This is a company that excels in customer service, I wish they had worked for me and I would have been a lifelong customer. I will keep an eye out in case they produce a custom mouldable which is reusable in future.
My husband's snoring is like a Jumbo jet landing on the pillow beside me. Over the decades I have tried just about every earplug known to man and, as nothing stops him disturbing my sleep, resorted to regular ear plugs plus white noise played through sleepphones. Uncomfortable, hot and hardly elegant.
I was given a Discovery pack of Happy Ears and, at last, I have found sweet relief! The small ones fitted the best. It took quite a lot of jiggling to get the perfect placement in my ears, during which time the warmth of my ear softened the plug a little. They go a little deeper than I anticipated, requiring a gentle (very gentle!) but firm push. After a month I can now slip them in quite easily.
They really do block the dreaded snoring. They are so comfortable that I don't know they are there, except that the world is unusually quiet. No itchy ears the day after like with regular ear plugs. With a little practice, I can now remove them easily. And it's so good to be able to ditch the headband and white noise.
We went on a cruise in a cabin under the buffet. My husband said the clattering and crashing and noisy trolleys overhead started at 6 am. I was oblivious!
I recommend persistence if they don't seem to work at first - getting a good seal seems to be a bit of a knack. But so worth it.
I've ordered some more as I'm now scared of losing them; they are very small.
This is an interesting review: i bought a 3 pack of these last year. Couldn't get any of them to work/ fit. Gave up frustrated.
Gave them another try 6mths later, figured out how they sit in my ears better (they're quite different), and i can seriously say, best ear plugs ever, and I've used many, and am a music producer/ sound designer so am pretty noise sensitive. My wife gave a smaller pair a crack, and she too was super happy (we have noisy neighbours).
So very glad i didn't throw them in the rubbish and felt my experience warranted a review.
My skin's been reacting to my old foam earplugs, so I bought the autumn/winter collection here. I thought they'd be a bit hard and uncomfortable at first, though they said they soften up considerably after a couple of weeks. After playing with them to get them sitting comfortably and create a seal, I didn't feel them much, and soon after lying down I forgot they were there. They're so comfortable, staying in place while you move around and never getting squashed lying on your side.
They block out the ideal amount of noise for me, more than my old ones but not so much I can't hear anything. It feels more consistent too, without some noises seeming to break through more than others. I have ME and usually really struggle having things close to my skin, which is easily irritated. I thought it'd take a while to adjust, but I've rested and slept with them and they're really comfortable every time, without my skin reacting at all. I love the subtle colours, and even the case opens and seals shut more easily than others I've used. Being so fatigued, you really feel the difference. I'm really glad to find a more eco-friendly option too.
For anyone struggling with fit or finding them painful, it might be worth trying a different size or giving them time to soften. My foam earplugs left my ears so sore and itchy, with cuts and broken skin, and I found other kinds too uncomfortable to keep using. These ones have left them free from any of that, and with the smaller size I can easily wear them even before they're any softer. So if anyone else has been struggling with similar issues, they could be worth it in the end :)
Nothing negative at all. Delivery within a week and if you have patience (which these reviewers don't seem to) it's about 12 nights for them to mould to your ear. You also need to twiddle them to get comfy. If you persevere within 2 weeks you'll have comfortable silence. Honestly worth it.
These earplugs are not usable for side sleepers. The 'stem' hurts after a while. For me it was false advertisement. I can not use them for my intention.
Warning - Delivery is very slow.
Ordered for a holiday, 6 days before departure. Received an automated email straightaway confirming purchase, then nothing. No notification when the item was despatched, no update, no ear plugs. Had to go to Boots today to buy standard foam based ones. Not impressed, especially as they charge £3.75 postage for an item that is tiny and weighs next to nothing.
I ordered the Discovery pack with high hopes, unfortunately none of the 3 sizes suited my ears, but the Happy Ears Team were very responsive and pleasant and quickly processed a full refund. Excellent customer service!
I didn't like the product, as it didn't fit my ears.
The earplugs' shape is quite narrow, which means 2 things:
1. You should aim for a slightly larger size than usual.
2. It is definitely for the earplugs to fit nicely, as there isn't a lot of surface to cover your canal.
That being said, the refund request was successfully treated within 4 minutes. I would definitely encourage people to try it, as you can part with them hassle-free.
The package never arrived. After one month waiting I wrote them and they said they would send a new package. That one never arrives either. The company is a total scam.
Happy Ears saves my marriage. Every night! I have tried so many other devices to stay sleeping. These are the only ones that works. I have small ears, and I use size M. I have used for 5 years now. Still very Happy. and sleeping : )

Bought these and tried for a week. They are just awful. May as well spit in ear. I bought a discovery pack and even the largest of them just have no seal at all. I really wanted to like these as all of the reviews on their site are fab but I just can't get along with them.

Edited review here - Went from 2 starts to 4. Although these did not work for me, Happy Ears refunded me the day after I reached out to them and I did not need to send them back. If they work for you, that's fab! If you're scared about to try them as you don't want to waste money, buy them on Paypal or credit card so if they dont reply for you to get a refund/send back you are protected. Its worth the trial for a possible good nights sleep :)
