I like the earplugs, but disagree with the price increase. In October 2022, one pair of the original cost $17.50 ... by February 2025, it increased to $22.50 ... and now in June 2026, they cost $25.... See more

Works fine and cancel noice perfect for me at work. I use large. Far better than other earplugs I have tested. The good thing with these is that you hear peoples talk but the uncomfortable noice is reduced a lot. So I´m satisfied!
Ordered the discovery pack for me and my partner to block out noise and to sleep with. They are completely useless at blocking out any noise at all! Pushed them into our ears more than enough and just didn’t do anything. They also feel like you could push them too far in and have trouble getting them out which could be scary.
Don’t purchase. We were given a refund promptly after sending feedback by email about them being useless for our ears. I’m afraid foam earplugs are way more effective at noise cancellation.
These ear plugs are not for everyone and unfortunately they didn’t work for me but my stars are for the excellent customer service I received when I contacted Happy Ears. I had a refund within hours. They are worth a try and if they don’t work for you, you can be assured your payment will be refunded promptly.
Returned for refund as testing revealed that they are slightly less effective than basic foam pieces and much less effective than the best foam on the market. Expensive too.
Also shocked at the negatives.
If the plugs fit my ears they’d have been amazing. When they were in they did block out the sound well.
Didn’t work out for me but the CS were so efficient and helpful. I wish it had have worked out as I’d love to have continued with this company.
Ear plugs work fine but why am I paying international fees when I’m ordering a “shipped from Sydney” product?
Sorry I’ll buy local, and save on international fees. Your product is already expensive without additional non-disclosed fees.
I am shocked by the bad reviews- people seem to think that if it didn't work for them, it is a scam or they don't work. They work beautifully for me and I am so happy to finally find earplugs that fit comfortably. I have small ear canals and all other earplugs I've tried end up being uncomfortable, except these. The tip are soft and the ends lay flat so I can sleep on my side with them. I can't imagine how people are having trouble getting them out- maybe they work best for smaller ear canals.
Terrible product. Those earplugs are one of the most unconfortable to sleep with that I've experienced and to make matters worse, they are an absolute nightmare to take them off (I had to ask my girlfriend to remove them for me because I couldn't with my fingers, in another ocasion I managed to take them off using tweezers). Avoid Happy Ears at all costs, buy some Loop Quiet Earplugs instead, those are the exact opposite, comfortable, well designed, easy to insert/remove and really effective blocking noise. My Happy Ears Earplugs are going directly to the garbage, I dislike them so much to even consider them a health risk.
The earplugs do not cut out noise. They are far less effective than standard foam plugs, unfortunately. I could still hear the clock ticking and neighbours two floors down. Far too ineffective to use for sleeping. It's very disappointing after paying almost £15 for one pair.
Amazing customer service. These earplugs were not for me but because of happyears excellant customer service dont hesitate to try them. I received a full refund within hours of making an inquiry.
Sitting at the emergency room whilst writing this. The top part of the plug has broken off and is now lodged in my ear canal. Not recommended !
Happy Ears ear plugs are fabulous. In no way does this company scam anyone. They are diligent, have great customer service and their product is revolutionary. Obviously their ear plugs don't work for everyone but I'm one of the thousands of people who've had their quality of sleep completely change thanks to these little guys. There seems to be a lot of expectation around what these ear plugs should do. They can't work miracles and solve all of the individual sound and sleep problems across the planet. But they sure can help you to get a better night's sleep. Are they a perfect fit? Obviously not - that would be pretty difficult given all the different ear canals across the world - but they are a brilliant simple design that can be adjusted at different angles and depths to get a pretty good fit for your individual ear canal. Is it worth the price to buy the sample pack to get your size? Definitely. I gave the large ones to my brother, kept the medium size for myself and didn't use the small size again. Since then I have ordered the medium in the 3 colour pack. I gave my sister a pair that she uses when travelling by plane. I gave my gym trainer a pair which she wears to music concerts. I am a side sleeper and yes I do wake up a couple of times during the night because one has slipped out or rotated a bit - but this is nothing compared to the complete lack of sleep I used to experience due to noise. I am about to order more so I always have a pair at home, at my dad's and in my backpack. For $20 AUD they are worth every cent.
I have bought a starter pack as I was really curious about this product. I don’t think it was made for the purpose as it’s not blocking any noises at all. Save yourself a time and money and avoid
Terrible. They are the worst €28 invested in my life.
I have been using them for 15 days and I have not managed to adapt to them nor have I seen any benefit compared to other types of plugs.
Without a doubt, the foam ones adapt much better and isolate noise better (in my case I use the typical colored ones from the Moldex brand, much cheaper than these). In my case, the happy ears ones do not fully adapt to the ear as they are more rigid. On the other hand they hurt when I put them on and when I sleep on my side.
What I would also like to see is the durability because in the short time that I have been wearing them they have changed from transparent to yellowish.
If you still think about buying them, the discovery pack is fine to try on sizes. In my case the S is super small and between the M and L they fit me more or less without falling (better the L than the M).
Be careful if you write a review not in English, they will reject it.
I sleep with earplugs every night. The husband snores, the building across the street has a generator, the trash truck idles. For the past year I have been sleeping with a single pair of Happy Ears earplugs (I do wash them once in a while).
I did not like them at first. I thought they were too small. I tried to use the large size. They poked when I slept on my side. They didn’t block enough sound. I switched to the medium size. They still poked. Still didn’t dampen sound enough. But there are things I hate about foam ear plugs too (the sucked out feeling in the morning! The feeling like they get stuck to your eardrums!), and these were better. So I kept at it. And they softened. And I came to realize they turn down the volume just enough. Now I love them.
I bought a few more, since I will be devastated if my Happy Ears break or get lost. The new ones are stiff and they poke me, and don’t block sound as well as my first set. That’s okay. I know they’ll soften. I know it takes a little time.
I bought the recycled discovery pack - to my surprise, the large size is what fits my ears the best. Would've at least preferred a scheme where I can get refunded for the sizes that do not fit.
It does reduce the noise and it has allowed me to sleep without distractions as noises are either dampened or near-inaudible. Note that they are not noise cancelling in the way where you don't hear a thing (this is not how they have marketed their product).
Sleeping on my side however is a bit uncomfortable, the earplugs will dig into my ear and overtime this will be uncomfortable. If you sleep on your back this is fine.
I am overall happy with the product, though it is a little bit on the expensive side for the discovery pack, which you have to do in order to figure out which size fits you best.
Near impossible to get out of your ear. I got the sample box (3 sizes). All fit badly, and are slippery and too short. Need pincers to get out of ear.
I’m a side sleeper and the happy ears falls out quickly. Would not recommend. Alpine sleeping earbuds are better!
Bought earplugs for the third time. Small size fits well for small ears. Normally earplugs hurt my ears because theyre too big, these are the right size.
Terrible. Bought the discovery pack, none of the 3 sizes fit, all feel uncomfortable, no less noise reduction than normal silicone ear plugs . I feel like I've been scammed.
