I like the earplugs, but disagree with the price increase. In October 2022, one pair of the original cost $17.50 ... by February 2025, it increased to $22.50 ... and now in June 2026, they cost $25.... See more

I'm a 6 foot tall male and found that the Large size fitted my ear well. They consistently did a better job of filtering out noise, requiring less manipulation than my usual foam plugs. I found that the plastic kind of dug into one of my ears over the course of the night meaning that I had to remove it before dawn... frustrating but I had similar discomfort with foam plugs as well.
Would I buy them again? Yeah, but they still aren't my perfect set of plugs - I think having a few different styles on hand is the safest bet
I was skeptical about these earplugs, the SNR rating of 25 seems pretty high, with most other concert earplugs going to around 19-21, and as you can probably see a lot of the reviews on Trustpilot seem to be unhappy(ears) with these earplugs.
I was pleasantly surprised, having tried both Senner and Apline earplugs, these are the only earplugs that successfully lower large night clubs (printworks, ministry of sound) to a pleasant volume. At first it can seem like they lower the sound too much, but after a couple hours you'll be thankful they do.
As for fit, these are the least compliant earplugs I've used, and I had my reseverations because I've often had trouble with earplugs either staying in my right ear, or going too far into either ear and being hard to retrieve.
However I am happy to report that I haven't had any issues with these going too far into my ears, and while they may not be the height of comfort, they have a much more consistent fit and require less fiddling with throughout the night, allowing me to forget that they're there to begin with.
As for some help on sizing, myself and a few friends have all picked these up for clubbing, and so far all four of us have come out as a large.
Please trust the negative reviews. They’re so painful, it’s hard to get them to fit in and barely block out noise. You’re just sticking a hard piece of plastic in your ears :( pretty pricey as well, just leave it.
I bought the discovery pack but unfortunately not one of the sizes worked for my ears. They look decent and felt comfortable but sadly didn‘t work for me.
When I contacted Happy Ears they helped me out with the problem straight away.
I'm thrilled. Wether I bought the products or not. Thank you for making the return so easy.
As others have said, slick marketing, snappy design but they don't work whatsoever! Total nonsense the scientific jabber I read beforehand, these things are utterly useless at the price DO NOT BUY.
Complete rubbish and dangerous product that doesn’t work.
I bought the “starter pack” and used the largest size. They were still way too small and worse even when put in gently they were so hard to get out with my fingers that I had to use tweezers to get them out.
They attenuate some sound but frankly less than the other - much cheaper - brands of reusable earplug.
Do not buy.
Right first things first, these things don't work. They don't reduce any noise at all, and it's not about "they don't fit me", they did fit but they don't work. End of.
Now let me address the 5 star reviews. Yes, this company gave me my money back, well done, thanks. BUT how can you give 5 stars to a company where the one product they make doesn't work as designed? When I asked for a refund, they had the audacity to mention they had plenty of 5 star reviews supporting their product, but when you actually read these '5 star' reviews they near enough all say the same thing: "Product didn't work, but they gave me my money back so yay, this company is brilliant, here's 5 stars babe."
*Rolls eyes*
You're inadvertently supporting a business that is wasting your time, our resources and somebody's money by creating a product that is completely useless in the blind hope that the majority of people buying them won't bother to get a refund...
I don't know who invested the money to support this business, but they are being taken for a ride!
DON'T BUY. Absolutely do not. Just don't. Stop.
I loved the design and the shipping time! The earplugs did not work for me personally (thus giving 4 stars) but I can recommend the company and their products. Super cute and colourful!
Disappointed after reading good reviews.
My item didn't arrive within the time frame of 1 - 4 business days, so I chased the following week and was told to wait a few more days but the item still did not arrive. I emailed and asked for tracking information but they could not provide this, so I asked for a refund and got one immediately (which is great!) but it makes me think that the product wasn't even shipped in the first place as the refund happened so quickly...
I actually like these! I have the worst snoring bf and have tried EVERY other type, including with batteries, spent hundreds of dollars/pounds. These have been great, take a bit to get used to as they are a bit hard at first but do block out most noise. They fit small. I'm a medium and they are medium. I'm a side sleeper and no issues after a few wears.
I'm surprised by all these negative reviews, I really like mine! I had the Discovery Pack and can't decide if the small or medium fit me better- I have to twist them in like a corkscrew action to get the seal that blocks the sound and occasionally one fallls out in the night but I'm really pleased with them. I can't feel them on my side either although haven't tried the large size. Love that they have a little case too.
Happy Ears are a fantastic company, unfortunately their ear plugs aren’t so great.
I bought the discovery pack, and unfortunately not one of the sizes provided any noise level reduction. They don’t feel uncomfortable in the ears, but they didn’t work for me.
However, when I contacted them about this they dealt with the problem straight away, no questions.
I really wish them the best, and wouldn’t listen to the 1 star reviews on here, those people should have reached out to Happy Ears before going on a rant. And lots of people seem to get good use out of the product.
Ordered discovery pack, no size fit me or my wife in that they're impossible to place in a position that blocks noise and is comfortable. Definitely got pulled in by sleek targeted advertising.
Unlike other reviewers I found a size that fit perfectly from the trial pack (large) and I found that they were excellent at blocking out noise at night (snoring, street sounds etc) - much better than disposable types I've tried, and best sleep I've had in months. But they are ultimately uncomfortable to wear repeatedly if sleeping on your side - the hard plastic centre really hurts my ears and so after about 2 weeks of use I am having to look for an alternative product as it's just too painful to continue use. Shame, because if comfort were better I would be keeping these for life.
I ordered a Discovery Pack, with optimism … disappointingly, it turned out that even the large size was too small. Such is life. Ears are very individual things.
I contacted Happy Ears by email on a Saturday evening to take them up on their kind offer of a refund: they processed this within 10 minutes, and sent me a kind and thoughtful email to boot. This is customer service above and beyond even my highest expectations.
There is literally no way to go wrong here. You either buy some earplugs that fit, or you get a refund. Even though the product didn’t suit me, I can’t praise the company highly enough.
Regretfully pulled in by targeted marketing and a polished website. Do not be as gullible as I was. I ordered the 'Trial pack' - at some considerable cost too. Having tried all three sizes, none of them even hint at blocking out ANY sound. I'd stick with your local pharmacy foamies, they'll do the job just fine.
Waste of time and money. They do not fit my husband at all, or cancel out any noise. I bought him a large and they are so loose. Very expensive for what they are. Think carefully before you buy. Also cannot leave a review on their website letting people know about our experience.
The products appear well made and I love the concept, however they were too small for my ears. I bought the discovery pack and even the large size kept falling out. It's a shame.
I emailed for a refund, as per their terms with the discovery pack, and got the refund through PayPal (my original method of payment) then same day.
Really easy to deal with. Worth a try if you want to stop using disposable earplugs, but just not for me.
Quick delivery. Good esthetics. No sound blocking at all (for me or my husband). Not fit for my purpose (to block out snoring). Perhaps made for swimmers?
Like other reviewers I bought the trial pack which didn't work and I asked for my money back which I've now had to chase several times. I keep being told it's been done but still nothing. When I tried to leave a one star review I also got told "it didn't meet corporate guidelines" and to submit another review!
