I have used Haverdash for quite a while…

I have used Haverdash for quite a while now, and I stick with them because I enjoy the variety of clothing they offer and the speed that they send new boxes. My boxes have always had a nice variety of colors and styles and I like the fact that they are cheaper than other subscriptions I have tried.

Love the concept-delivery time needs to improve

I love the service and the clothes have all been great. My complaint is that it takes an entire week between shipments. It has completely ruined the experience for me.

I love the selection of clothes and…

I love the selection of clothes and that new items are added a few times a week. However, things are often unavailable in my size within a day or two of being posted.

Also, I wish there was an option to rent out more than three items and not have to return them all at once.

I’ve notice shipping taking longer between boxes, even when you return notify a day or two before sending back.

I’m have fun with Haverdash!

I’m enjoying the clothes! I get excited when my box arrives! Everything fits and the quality is good. The shipping has slowed down since I first started. I’m not sure if it’s because I have been marking items as favorites and I need to wait for them. So far, I’m loving Haverdash!

It's a worth it service but...

I really like the service and enjoy having many designers to choose from to rent. It is also very worth it for the price and the site is easy to use. The quality of clothes is also up there. However, the delivery has been inconsistent as sometimes I will get a box immediately after I notify a return and other times, it could take a few days. Also, I find that the styles of clothing available on the site are too similar and wish there was more variety of style (i.e. most of the sweaters are oversized and boxy). I also find the boxes they ship in to be wasteful and wish there was a more sustainable way.

Haverdash = Amazing Clothes Experience

Haverdash is an amazing rental service, and I have been thoroughly impressed by the availability of their clothes rentals. Everyone is always asking me where I get my outfits, and I get to say "Haverdash! A clothes rental service, and they're AMAZING!"

I love the cocept

I love the cocept. The style of clothes are great. Some clothes have been alittle too used or stretched out. Delivery time takes longer then desired. The app is awesome. Easy to use. I wish all pieces had reviews as the reviews are helpful. I don’t see where to review the pieces I send back on the app..?

Don’t waste your money!

Don’t waste your money! I tried it for 2 months and barely received two boxes per month. Their turn-around time is terrible and the clothes aren’t even cute. I starred 10 items (with over 50 in my closet) and would never receive anything I asked for. Plus, the sizing is really large. I called customer service probably 5 times, but only offered a $10 discount for a 2 week shipping delay which is half of the month subscription. Overall Haverdash has made empty promises every time I call and their actual product/service has been absolutely underwhelming. I would not recommend this rental service at all.

A Fun Way to Try Out New Clothes

I have been using Haverdash for a month now. I have been enjoying the service immensely. I was able to try out 9 different pieces over the course of the month.

I looked at many such services before choosing Haverdash. Haverdash had the right mix of Price, selection of items, and unlimited shipments. The other services I looked at either weren't my style or limited the number of times you could swap for a much higher price.

Shipments have been quick. I do use the feature to notify when I'm sending back a shipment. I live in CA and the turn around time has been about 4 days. The clothes arrive clean and don't have any odd smells or stains, for those concerned about wearing used clothes.

I liked the service so much I purchased my niece a three month gift subscription for her birthday. What I like best about this service is having that new clothes feeling all month long, without paying the new clothes price!

A lot of the negative reviews I see on here are for when someone tries to cancel the service so my rating may change should I ever decide to cancel. For now I am extremely happy with my experience with Haverdash.

Don't Waste Your Money!!

So many things...The clothes are not very good quality. The selection is awful, AWFUL. Very similar items could be purchased for cheaper than it cost to rent them from stores like Forever 21 or Target. When they finally have something that seems worth it its, OUT OF STOCK!! The amount they keep of stuff sucks. No petite or plus, either. I was excited about this, what a bummer! Love Stitchfix and going go try other rentals too. This one just has crap selection!! AND YOU CANT CANCEL ONLINE!!! HAVE TO CALL. MAKE IT AS HARD AS POSSIBLE, YUCK!

disgusting

Wow. You know 5 star reviews are scam when all of the 5 star reviews are posted on the same day, use the same tone of voice and each extol the benefits of a company like a brochure. All it takes is time and a bunch of burner email accounts. This here is a REAL former customer's review.

I came here to see if anyone else had my bad experiences, and of all the genuine reviews (posted in different months AND using different grammar and voice), I see my experience is nearly universal. That is, you sign up, decide to quit, and it takes an Act of Congress to cancel your subscription (well, canceling is as easy as a phone call, but then they keep charging you anyway).

Most start ups have awesome customer service, trying track problems and increase the quality of their service. Haverdash has outsourced their customer service (you know what that means), and has no real interest in making the customer happy. They ONLY want your recurring charges to continue (and will say many things are possible now FOR YOU, when you try to quit), and to have positive reviews here (or appear to anyway). It is clear someone monitors TrustPilot carefully, responding to each negative review promptly with canned responses to "make things right," rather than change their practices to make things right from the beginning so they don't have to monitor review sites so carefully.

I tried the service for exactly one month. I knew right away that I didn't want to continue being their customer. I will say that the styles are quite varied, the clothes are in good shape and are of good quality (and clean), and when pieces go on sale, the sales prices are pretty good. However, their unwillingness to let you quit speaks volumes about how confident they are about these positive business practices alone keeping customers.

I called to quit after just a couple of weeks, but was told that I COULDN'T CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION! I was told that I would have to CALL BACK LATER TO CANCEL, and not just "later," I was told I would have to call on a specific day! This tells you everything you need to know about the company. This is a trashy move, hoping people will forget, or call back a day or two late so they can get another months fees from you because they do not prorate and as long as you "have" any of their pieces you can't quit, or will be charged full price for them. Others have used the word "scam" and I agree, these practices are scammy. I won't call them a scam because you actually get a product and the product itself is good.

Of course, knowing I was being scammed for more months fees, and money being tight, I set an alarm to cancel my account. When I called to do so, they told me that the policy of 3 items at a time was not accurate, and I could have as many as I want! Essentially, the more I have in hand, the less likely I am to cancel. I said no. NO. NO. Cancel. Cancel. Cancel.
Eventually it was clear I was not budging and they "canceled" my subscription. Last month.

Out-of-sight-out-of-mind and I didn't think about it again over the Holiday season, until........you guessed it! They charged my account this month! On a "canceled account." This should be illegal. Basically, the scammy practice here is that people of means will not notice that they are being charged, and if a person notices and asks for a refund, they draw the interest on those funds for as long as they have them in hand, and increases the apparent "sales" they account for when seeking new investors and customers (because you don't count refunds as negative sales).

The whole thing felt dirty and disgusting to me, which is a shame because I liked the concept and I even liked the product. But no one will buy a good product from a bad company for very long.

Disappointed

The fact that canceling is a near impossible hassle really makes it hard for me to give this anymore than 2 stars...I almost gave it one. The redeeming aspects are that the clothes are cute and good quality (in the one box I received). However I can’t wear any of the clothes I received because not a single item fit! It is also a bummer that you can’t choose which items get shipped to you. I wanted some cold weather items to wear for a trip, since I live in the tropics, and I got all summer items. I tried to cancel and that told me I had to wait and then I tried to cancel again and once more they told me I had to wait. Solidly wasted over $100 on this. Very disappointed. Save your self the money and just buy some new clothes if you need to.

I’m done.

The selection of clothes is great, and it’s fun to “closet” stuff, but that’s really all I like. What I don’t like:
- Shipping takes too long. So slow in both directions.
- You can’t select what items ship. It’s a random selection from your virtual closet.
- What I’ve liked has been out of season (I couldn’t tell this based on description, so I didn’t place the item on hold).
- I haven’t liked most of what was sent due to poor fit.
- You have to send back everything at once. This doesn’t work for me. For example, I’m sent two things I hate but one I want to wear New Years Eve. I have to keep two duds for days and don’t get to wear any new clothes!

I have had the service two weeks and have received two shipments. I haven’t been able to wear anything yet.

Update: I’m now almost done with my month free trial and I’ve only had two items that I could even wear. My first return didn’t get scanned in and it took about a week to register and for my next box to ship. I’m done.

Now, I’m trying to cancel and you have to call into customer service to do that. Seriously? I’m expecting a hard sell to to stay, but hopefully not. I don’t have time for this crap.

This company is a complete scam

This company is a complete scam. I returned my last 3 items in September and was told I needed to do so, by their customer service representative, to cancel. Once they received my items, I called back in October and canceled. I was told, “ you have no outstanding items and we’ll cancel your account.” I received my confirmation email and moved along. A month later, I’m fighting a claims investigation with my bank because they charged me 200.00 stating 2 of the items were not returned. I didn’t keep their items and they already confirmed once the items were returned but now I have to fight to get my 200 back and that’s just very frustrating. Save your money and spend the extra 20.09 a month to do the style trial with Express. Better clothes, faster turn around and they’re not a scam.

Plus, I haven't had any problems with delivery or picking items I want to try. I highly encourage trying Haverdash. It's the most reliable and affordable rental service I have found!
