Great recipes, bad quality of ingredients

The concept and the recipes are great. The food tastes amazing and you can make something different every time. However, the quality of the ingredients is not so good. I need to cut and throw away half of the vegetables. The meat is also not always fresh. Since the delivery is only once a week the last dishes don't taste as good.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Hello Fresh, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in so many ways! From the moment the box arrived at my doorstep, I was impressed with the fresh ingredients and well-organized packaging. Each meal kit was clearly labeled and packed with everything I needed to whip up a delicious dinner, which made meal prep a breeze.

One of the best aspects of Hello Fresh is the variety of meal options available. Each week, there are new recipes to choose from, catering to a range of dietary preferences, including vegetarian, family-friendly, and more gourmet options. This kept our dinners exciting and allowed us to explore new flavors and cuisines we might not have tried otherwise.

The cooking instructions were straightforward and easy to follow, making it suitable for cooks of all skill levels. I loved how the recipes encouraged me to try new techniques and ingredients while still being manageable for a busy weeknight. And the end result? Delicious meals that tasted like they came from a high-end restaurant!

Another highlight was the quality of the ingredients themselves. Everything was fresh, and it was clear that care had been taken in sourcing them. Knowing that I was cooking with high-quality products made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Vegetables

Flavor is great as always! Vegetables were a little sad looking :( And in general we would really like to have more vegetables in the meals.

One star for the customer service. Extremely bad delivery service. Would NOT recommend

One star for the customer service. They do their job alright. The problem of hellofresh in Denmark is there is always (ALWAYS) problems with delivery. They don't call you when they deliver then send you a 'not home message' while I am home. They call you but say something can't be delivered on time. Etc. etc. Not one week I received my box on time as schedule. They even cancelled my box for a week becaue they can't send it for some reason. Never order from Hello fresh Denmark if you respect your time. And a message for Hello fresh Denmark: Vet your delivery team before hiring them. Now you have a bunch of irresponsible no work ethic losers in the team. No wonder you don't have customers.

beef to improve costumer service

I really like the concept of HelloFresh; it’s helped me have a more varied diet. However, I’ve faced several issues that make the experience frustrating:
• Customer Service: Every time I’ve contacted them, they haven’t offered a real solution. They aren’t flexible, leaving me with limited options and increasing my frustration.
• Vegetable Freshness: The vegetables don’t arrive fresh and are often soggy.
• Delivery Issues: Their delivery system is unreliable:
• Deliveries are often not on time.
• Packages have been left in random locations without delivery confirmation, leaving me unaware they arrived. Once, a neighbor found it and brought it to me, but by then, the ice packs had melted, and the box was destroyed.
• On other occasions, they claimed no one was home to receive the package when I was indeed there.

In summary, while I enjoy the meal variety HelloFresh offers, their service needs improvements in customer support, ingredient freshness, and reliable delivery

After the first positive impression unfortunately inadequate.

After the first positive impression, I unfortunately have to say that hello fresh disappointed me across the board. Deliveries are sent spontaneously without an order. The deliveries did not correspond to the volume ordered and pork was sent to us even though we expressly did not want it. It also happened from time to time that we had to buy more products because the ones we delivered were unripe.
Everyone should try it for themselves, but be prepared for the quality to drop noticeably after the first deliveries.

Answer:
Deliveries were sent to me without request. I cannot refuse to accept these deliveries because they are simply left somewhere in the house. Then I have to agree to this because otherwise I will have problems with debt collection agencies. Why should i call customer service? he caused all of this.

I received an invitation to use the…

I received an invitation to use the platform with a non-functional button. After several attempts, I decided to register directly via the web. Once that was done, I was not able to log in via the app or on my phone.

I tried to change my password, but the system kept sending me an email with a dysfunctional button, so I could not do that. I contacted support (via the web on my PC that I was still logged on to). Support was not able to help me solve any of the issues, even something as simple as changing my password or assisting with logging in. I was asked to send a screenshot of the email with the dysfunctional button, which I have no idea how that would have helped. I asked for an email address so I could simply forward it, but the support agent was not helpful or perhaps that is against their rules.

Anyhow, after spending an hour, I got annoyed and asked to be removed from the platform. Once that was done, I received another email to change the password, which worked! Then I asked the support agent to restore my discounts and offers that I was entitled to, but they were not able to do that.

Very poor experience so far...

ridiculously small portions

We have used your boxes for a while but because we thought the boxes/portions for 2 people were waaaaay too small in food quantities, we opted for a box with supposedly 4 adult portions in order to have enough food for … only two adults and a very young lady that does not eat much.

But for real - Like 60gr spinach for side salat for 4 people?
400gr chicken or 300gr rice for 4 people? 700-800 gr of food for 4 adults? Who is advising you so bad? you cannot believe this is a normal portion!

HelloFresh do you not realize that you distribute your boxes to grown up people? Please consult better the portions because this is making you less favorable among other distributors and shadows the lovely amount of recipes and your utmost flexibility.

I am happy we did not order the food from you, when we had guests, because we would have had to go buy extra burgers afterwards, if we should have served 200gr of portions to our guests … it would have been super embarrassing and inconvenient at the least :/

Mange af vores kunder føler at portionerne er for store, mens andre, som i dit tilfælde, føler at de ikke er store nok. Det er en vanskelig balance, som vi arbejder hårdt på at finde, da vi ikke ønsker at bidrage til øget madspild, men ønsker at vores kunder skal være fulde og tilfredse.

Just don't

Just don't! Their system is designed to take advantage on you by not guiding you correctly on how to manage your subscription. On top of that, once you do cancel it, the site gets all buggy and you have to contact costumer service which will eventually say "We are sorry, but your order can't be canceled". Taking advantage of your costumers is the perfect recipe for failure. Stay away

stress free dinners

Recipes are really good and different from our normal dinner choices.

We had hellofresh for over a year

We had hellofresh for over a year. It was convenient having everything ready to cook without stopping by the store after work. My complaint is there are too many extra cost to some meals. We wanted to try the "street food" meals and "international" meals but all of them are an added cost to the subscription. Ended up canceling our subscription. It would be nice if you could substitute a meal for a breakfast or lunch meal. I may come back if some changes are made.

I'm a fan of the company product.

I'm a fan of the company product.

but there is a room for improvement .. I joined based on an invite offer from a friend .. boxes should have been cheaper .. they weren't.

Called support few times, each time they promised to fix it .. but kept paying full price due to lame excuses about how their system works

Long story short, I paid full price for about 10 weeks before I cancelled .. somehow I felt cheated and unsatisfied

Still, I had fun with my family picking each week meals.

Some of the meals were soo easy that my 11 years old could prepare it with minimal supervision.

Keeps on aggressively spamming by sending SMS/ marketing emails, even after 1 year of unsubscribing and several clear and firm agreements on not wishing to continue.
This is a borderline illegal practice.

Not so fresh

Easy to follow recipes, but the ingredients are really not so fresh. I get a delivery from monday to monday and sometimes some ingredients in the recipes have an expiry date on Saturday, 2 days before my next delivery?? Doesn't make any sense
