I love this Olivia phone stand by Paparazzo - very sturdy and high quality product and easy to set up and use. I can't wait to start using it to create some great content. Great communication and customer service - highly recommended.

I don't even know where to start...

I purchased an Olivia 2 together with a photo stand and 2 backdrops. The site looked quite 'Chinese' in the sense that there we're many 'last chance' offers. But well, ratings and profile on Instagram seemed legit, so I decided to trust the company and product.

1. SENT FROM CHINA - 2 WEEKS DELIVERY
First of all I was wondering why product didn't come. Finaaaaally I got a tracking and saw that it was sent directly from China. I asked the company about this, and they told me it was sent directly from their 'distribution hub' in China. This was my first alert. Cause production in China is not an issue as such - but I was worried about the lack of quality control. But well...

2. PRODUCT ARRIVES
Fiiiiinally my product arrives. But the seal has been broken and box seemed quite smashed. However, it could be the transportation, so well...

3. BLUETOOTH REVEALS DIFFERENT PRODUCT
I find a cable in my house and charge the Olivia. Hereafter I want to connect to the device via Bluetooth. When doing so, there's a device called DUCSUAL. Must be it. But out of curiosity, I google the DUCSUAL photo stand - and turns out this is an Alibabba marketplace item - at about 25% of the cost.......

4. PRODUCT IS FAULTY
In the instruction manual, there's a clear view of the stand being able to go into a 90 degree angle. Mine is not able to do so - it's all crooked. By now I write for support. I am writing about the crooked item, the broken seal and the DUCSUAL - and expresses that this is dissapointing to me. Reply: 'Oh we're so sorry, but please use the hex device to adjust the angle. It's together with the charging cable in the small bag'.

Only... I got NO charging cable, and there's no small bag. Reply? 'All products are carefully checked before shipment, so it should be there'.

But well... it's NOT. And no accountability for the broken seal which could be the cause.

5. PHOTO STAND
Unpacking now the photo stand. The stand-foot should be a weighted and padded metalstand. Well, metal alright - but clearly just quickly carved out from a machine. Sharp edges and no possibility of placing on a table without protection. I'm sending a video and photo - 3 times. They claim to have never received.

6. HOW DID WE DO EMAIL
Finally, without my case being taken seriously at any point (except from the 'Oh, we're so sorry'-mails from the (ChatBot???) 'James') - I get an email asking to rate them...

I give them one final chance. Sending an email and expressing my frustration. Answer? They were waiting for my photos??

But of course, I can get a full refund - IF I return the products. Only - just one demand - I need to send EVERYTHING back - INCLUDING the cable and the hex tool.... that I never received!! Otherwise there can be non refund.

I am utterly frustrated. I have paid 4 x the value of the product, and there are items missing and the quality is NOT as expected.

But guess the joke is on me... I fell for their marketing stunts - especially on Instagram! And all those excited customers? They are probably only that because you get a 30USD refund if you make a video with the product...

CANNOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

The package arrived quickly. The Olivia was well packed. I watched a video about the Olivia 2 features. I missed the fact I was getting version 1 instead. This will work for me because I want to record weaving on a vertical loom, so the stand should not be in the shot. The documentation is skimpy. There is no explanation for how to attach the phone. I’m always worried I’ll break the equipment if I cannot see the instructions. Nevertheless, I am happy with my purchase and look forward to using it.

The item took way too long to ship, and when I asked them to cancel the order as I told them I had purchased a replacement, then the item was magically shipped. I told them that I will be returning the order. I didn't even open the package, and I returned for a refund. But I only got a partial refund. I lessoned learned to never buy from Instagram ads.

I am reviewing the Olivia Compact Content Creator Tool. It took awhile to receive it through the mail; however, the company informed me that that could happen because of customs. I received it in perfect condition. The base is very sturdy, I love that about this tool; however, I’m disappointed in the height. I did not realize that I would lose 4” in height because of the only position for the phone when you want to do overhead recording. I am going to need to prop it up on a sturdy box or something in order to get more in my camera view, depending on what I’m trying to record. I think this Olivia tool would be perfect if the 4” were not being lost, hence the reason for only 3 stars. Perhaps in general, if Olivia could just be telescoped another 4”-6”.

Never received my order, only an order confirmation. Stated orders are processed and will get tracking when shipped. It's coming up on two months and still have received nothing and no response from customer service other than and automated response that they are looking into my inquiry and someone will respond shortly but never does.

The product is great, the quality is sturdy - there are a couple of things that I'm not 100% on like how the clamp that holds the phone wobbles - though I'm not sure if that's by design. Everything feels high quality, looks great and feels premium. It doesn't wobble, the base it stable and everything connects super easily for a quick and breezy setup out of the box.

I do find the charger point to be in an awkward place, possibly introducing some sort of cable management along the telescopic pole would be an idea to consider - the cable doesn't get in the way of filming, but it is just sort of hanging there and I am a cable management fiend that likes a tidy setup.

I'm finding that the light is very harsh, casting strong shadows when I use it, so I think a stronger diffuser would go a long way, but it does the job when you need it to.

The shipping process was probably the only thing that bothered me, and it was only a little - the updates were sporadic and sparse, though I believe this is attributed to the shipping company and not the supplier. It took 4 weeks to arrive, which is pretty normal, but there was no indication of how long shipping would take when I purchased the product - I think an estimate when ordering would be very helpful.

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and it's going to allow me to create the content that I have been dreaming of!

Love the design and functionality of the light. fast shipping. Light is good, just wanted it brighter.

I always enjoy my shopping experience at Heypaparazzo. I have had my Olivia 2.0 stand for a few years, but now I needed to upgrade my set up with some backdrops. They are good quality and I'll probably get more!

An issue with my Olivia 2 was quickly resolved and customer service was very helpful.

Olivia mini - it works fine but it was very difficult to extend the arm the first time. To the point that it took several people and a lot of determination to get it unstuck

Customer service team kept sending link to the product listing page without clearly explaining anything. The walkthrough video doesn't explain anything besides the usual 'just pull it out', so it just felt like my concerns weren't heard and it was an incredibly frustrating experience.

In reality, the extendable arm can be really stuck.. put it between your feet, hold with your arm and push/pull.

The tripod itself is fine, even though the packaging it came in with made me doubtful: the brand name was nowhere to be seen. And it came with Chinese "instructions" rather than anything branded.

Paparazzo shipped everything right away and I was impressed by the overall quality of the Olivia 2.0, material and engineering are incredible on this item! Highly reccomend

I like that the phone can be placed at different levels without the base being in the way, but i was very unimpressed with the lighting. On the brightest light setting I still had to have multiple lights around me to be able to light up my art desk and see what I was doing. Because the phone had to be offset from the light, the light in my video was also offset. Also the fact you dont provide a charging brick, even if you had options for different countries to choose from, was annoying because now I had to go buy something else on top of the insanely expensive thing I bought. Which btw, increasing the price and putting it on sale to make it look like you get a deal is not a good look for a company. For the price, I'm not happy with the light quality, especially once I saw it was shipping directly from China and not the location on your site. I wouldn't recommend this for artists who work on very tiny, detailed art and need to film close up because the light is not going to be enough for you to see

It's solid, well built and holds my heavy s25 ultra at full extension without moving.
My only gripe is that the battery for the light doesn't last very long.

Fast shipping + delivery and even though I had concerns when seeing it being shipped out of China it is really a great product!

Doesn’t wall plug in. Battery life is 1 hour off charger. Cable is usb and not even long enough to reach an outlet.
Didn’t come with an Allen wrench. I can’t adjust the tighteners. Can’t hold the weight of a phone without falling.
Virtually unusable at this moment.
Website doesn’t have easy navigation to return product.
Feels like a scam where they just hope you don’t have enough willpower to attempt to return a mediocre product.

Quick delivery and the Olivia2 is a great tool for making beautiful content

My order took a long time to arrive, that was such a bummer, but I got a clear and honest answer so that made my disappointment easier to accept. The product Olivia makes me verrrry happy!

I really love using the Olivia 2.0 tripod. It made my video recording easier and enjoyable rather than a hassle. The only thing I may not have liked was it took a little longer than expected to receive the item. Or I’m just impatient 😅
