To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Gone downhill....quickly!
One of the main purposes of a CMMS is to schedule and handle planned work orders. In the last 6 months we have had several issues with scheduled work orders not regenerating or regenerating at the wrong time interval. These have been escalated to 'tier 2' technical whatever that means, but if feels like it means 'yeah whatever', as no one resolves or gets back to you.
Overall good but could use more support in some areas
Overall data collection templates and data import process worked well, however additional support/guidelines on equipment/location/vehicle naming conventions would have been helpful. We were under the impression that requesters would have access to the floor plans and equipment details (model & serial number, photos, etc.) but this is not the case. We did not have a clear understanding on the difference between requester and submitter permissions. It would be very helpful to be able to copy permissions from an existing template when creating a new user. Overall training was helpful and Mel did a great job explaining the basics of a work order, but we could have used more time to delve into user permissions, reporting and data extracting. More training/guidelines on setting up email notifications would have been helpful. Overall response to support questions is good and support reps are friendly and helpful, however we're still waiting on a reply from the Support Team for an issue reported on 7/11 (2.5 weeks ago) regarding a discrepancy on overdue work orders as they appear in a Work Order Search vs. a Work Order report.

The program seems to be a good choice for us so far. We have had a smooth onboarding process overall and our company is developing the practice of using Hippo to manage our maintenance.
There are a handful of minor workflow enhancements we have suggested to Hippo which we hope they will implement. Those would help move us towards a 5-star review.

Elegant CMMS system
A very simple yet elegant system, easy to pick up but deep enough to master. Worl for a site with single or multi location.

Some functions don't seem to be working
We've had excellent experiences with the HIPPO staff getting our system set up, but there seem to be some functions that aren't working. For example, we can't seem to add companies in either the enterprise or facilities admin, even after we enter the appropriate information and hit "save." A similar issue arose during our live training as well, when we were trying to add equipment.

Awesome people
Awesome people, and easy to use software. The videos are very helpful and questions get answered very quickly. Need to work on your importing documents. It was very confusing after I filled out the excel file and then the program showed different or more columns. had to spend a significant amount of time tweaking all the inputs after they were loaded in from the excel file.

Simple and Easy to Use
The maintenance software is easy to use and simple enough for our employees to grasp. Helps keep work orders in front of you so nothing falls through the cracks. Overall we have enjoyed the software and find it helpful to our business.

Overall not bad
Overall not bad. For the Preventive maintenance, we would like more ability to mark complete, but non- compliant (i.e. I checked the fire extinguisher but it is outdated). The ability to run reports off the PMs with more detail would be great

Missing the Basics
Hippo is riddled with bugs and poorly thought out features. The inability to remove fields not required for your process (such as fleet management) or even assign multiple categories of work order to a single device (such as Calibration AND preventative maintenance) make Hippo useless as a tool to track work orders and mine data.
In addition its server lag is atrocious resulting in substantial delays.
This is beta software at best clearly incomplete and clearly not thought out.
In addition most of the tickets we’ve generated for support have provided a poor customer service experience. Generally polite, but terse with no follow up or real help. Simply acknowledment of shortcomings.

So far so good!!
So far so good. Mike’s coming Monday to start the on boarding process. The only problem I’m having is sending emails. They’re getting sent back as undeliverable. I hoping this can get resolved, so I can communicate with everyone at Hippo.
Thanks,
Paul

Service and support team is top notch and very responsive.
Some structures of the program are less than intuitive and, having used other CMMS in the past, can be quite frustrating.
Viewing existing Scheduled WO's (i.e. PM's) to review the templates is quite difficult - haven't been able to determine how to view on a screen or as a printout.
Cost is low compared to others in the market
