I like the software and the system
I like the software and the system. i would give it a higher rating because i am really happy that i can now use copy and pasted function. but, the system has gotten slow in the last upgrade.. also, everytime something is saved, it goes back to the list, and we can not continue easily from where we left off. the other thing, on the calendar screen, it lists how many other work orders there are, but it will not leave them displayed for ease of use.

The program is robust and staff helpful.
The program is very robust and the staff have been very helpful and have made their training and assistance easy to access. We are a small non-profit with limited funds and staff so it has taken us a long time to get this program up and running. Getting HIPPO operational would have been much easier if we had been able to have an employee on our end focus solely on getting it going.

Great customer service and quick response. In regards the software application is has limitations and is not very customizable. Version 6 had great improvements and for the price, it can't be beat. They listen to customer concerns, ideas, and input to improve the system and customer experience.

So far I am not overly impressed with the software. Operates on Sliver-light, so there is no spell checking, I cannot easily Copy and Paste or even type over easily.
I cannot go back and add notes to a completed work order.
I cannot easily change or add equipment on the fly.
I cannot easily add a parts list and have to rely on Hippo to upload a spreadsheet.
So I am shopping for a replacement Web Based CMMS already after 1 year.

No complaints. Its better now and I was happy before
The launch and implementation was excellent. On going upgrades went really well and solved the Silverlight issues that I was having. It is a better product than when I first bought it because of the upgrade. I chose this software over 4 others and I am very happy with my choice.

When we make comments to the demands, the comments don't show to the requester.

I like Hippo CMMS as a whole
I like Hippo CMMS as a whole. User interface has improved immensely with the new V.6 update, although I would like to see more features.
I am impressed by the support staff and online training seminars are concise and clear.
All-in-all, I love Hippo. I would like to see the server issues resolved, though. Guess we can't be perfect!

Hippo - Best "Bang For Your Buck"
Hippo CMMS is the best "bang for your buck" when it comes to computerized maintenance management software. I spent months looking into various CMMS's, many ranging way above my price limit (non-profit organization). Hippo gives you all of the features you need to run your organization, without the expensive price. They're most recent update adds the ease I wanted, and the mobile capability most company charge outrageous prices for. Their staff is friendly and very responsive, helping me set it up along the way.
I'd recommend Hippo to any Facilities Manager or alike.
