These guys do a great job. I come home to a lovely lawn. They clean up and even use weed eater. I am happy to recommend them for any service they offer.

I inquired about getting a backyard mowed for the Summer. This first time, they no-showed and when I emailed them about it, they said they might need to upcharge me if my grass was too long when they arrived. It WOULDN'T BE TOO LONG if they sent someone in time. The second time I tried them again and they had someone call me within 10 mins and said they could get someone to service my yard in 48 hours with a discount. Yay! But after 15 MINUTES on the call, verifying my information and listening to them tell me about their policies, they found my pre-existing account and transferred me. Cue listening to "This call is recorded for quality assurance purposes" every five seconds ON LOOP for five more minutes. I got a second person on the line who then told me they had no one to service my area, I asked for clarification, the call went silent and stayed silent for an additional 3 minutes. I hung up and called back, only to sit on hold for almost 10 minutes. Absolute trash, promising you the moon and stars, but unreliable. Maybe they do good work, maybe they don't. I wouldn't know because their customer service was awful.
EDIT: After confirming with me they don't service my area THEY STILL SENT ME A QUOTE. Are you KIDDING ME???

I love the app. I did have a hard time getting a quote for my original question, but good things were still done. JD was very nice and did a great job with what he did do

I really enjoyed the ease of scheduling my lawn care and the speed of which they were able to schedule me. The lawn care was beautiful, very well done, they did edges and everything. Price was what I was expecting. Good price for a job well done.

I bought the green to clean $300 service. The pro only spent 30 minutes cleaning my pool (Tuesday). They never sent any pics or information on what the pro put in my pool. It didn’t work at all and actually made my pool worse. I called them on day four after the cleaning (Saturday) they said they will send pro back out on a Monday and the guy never showed. I asked at that point to give me a full refund. On their website it says “Re-do or refund
Tell us within 5 days if anything's off. We'll send your pro back or give you a full refund.”
They came back saying since a service was done (even though it was worse and pro never showed for revisit) they would only give $150 back with my pool looking worse. I called another company and they had it clean within 2 days. This company is a joke.

Did a good job.

I want to warn others about my experience with Elvis, a pool cleaning technician who was assigned through Home Gnome. After I canceled my service with Home Gnome because he repeatedly arrived late or failed to show up, he came to my house and offered to clean my pool privately. I trusted him and paid him $285, but after that he never came back and stopped responding. I have photos, text messages, and videos documenting what happened.

I also believe Home Gnome should take responsibility for the professionals they send to customers. When a customer reports serious issues with a service provider, the company should investigate and take appropriate action to protect other customers. Based on my experience, I feel they failed to do that. I cannot recommend either this technician or the company.

They set me up to pay $300 for a “one time deep cleaning” of my pool and then changed the original quote to do a second “one time deep cleaning.” Then when i notified them of this they ignored me and then claimed that I didn’t complain in time for them to make it right like they promise. So, that’s lying about a quote and then ignoring my notification of this problem and finished by saying that I never notified them. Just some deceitful business practices. It was like I three $300 in the trash.

Homegnome finds professionals in the area to do the things you want done. They handle it so you don’t have to interact with anyone if you don’t want (which I don’t) so far all my interactions have been through the app. I was surprised that the app includes tipping in addition to the quoted price (this option doesn’t show up until payment time) but was happy it was there as the professionals they found for me did a good job and were worth it

We were going out of town and didn’t have time to mow our lawn so I searched the internet for help. Home Gnome was extremely helpful and got us setup with a fantastic service. Andre came the next day before we left and we couldn’t be happier with his work. Thanks for help, fast response, and great service!!!

I have a very difficult property to mow and Thomas took his time and got it done very nicely!
