This company allows customers to commit fraud by claiming they didn’t receive the services provided. Completed a green to clean on a pool and was paid 29$ because a customer states they didn’t need a deep cleaning. Provided the support with pictures proving the work was completed just for them to state they were unable to get in touch with the customer and that I wouldn’t receive the 250$ I was promised upfront for doing the job.

Good option when our lawn mower was out of commission. Thank you!

Whew, where do I begin?! I contacted this company more than 2 months in advance of me hosting a graduation party. I requested a deep cleaning/green to clean that included all chemicals, algaecide, vacuumed and walls scrubbed for 300$. A pool company picked it up immediately, which was great, but canceled on the day of service. This happened several times with multiple pros. The company that eventually showed up, did not service the pool because they said that it was a misunderstanding about what was included with the cleaning. When I screenshot the description of service, The pro stated that the chemicals were not included and home gnome was incorrect with the description of the cleaning. This accrued with two different companies. I was left with no service both days. It also took about a week for someone to show up. I also called the home gnome to verify and they stated I was correct with my expectations for the cleaning and they did not understand why I was having difficulty receiving the service I requested.

In the meantime, I did a little research and treated the pool myself as well as had an independent consultant that was not associated with home gnome check the chemicals and ph levels while I was waiting for home gnome to complete the deep clean. The independent consultant didn’t have the equipment to complete the full service I needed. By the time a representative associated with home gnome showed up for the cleaning, my pool was no longer green, it was blue and a little cloudy.

The professional sent by home gnome “completed” the service and submitted the picture of a somewhat clean pool but it was like that prior to him coming. After the cleaning (that still didn’t supply anything outside of vacuuming the bottom of the pool, I previously had the filter cleaned), I no longer had enough pressure in the pool to keep the water flowing. The professional stated that I needed another pressure gauge and filter. This was concerning because every thing was perfectly fine prior to this service. I contacted home gnome within three days after service and told them what the problem was and they promised to get back with me but did not. After following up with them, they apologized and gave me a 60$ refund from the 300$ service to cover chemicals that I had to purchase. I was enrolled in the weekly service plan but told them that I wanted to put service on hold until they handle the problem with the lack of pressure of the pool. They never sent anyone out to check but I was charged the 38$ weekly fee for a service that was not completed. The professional never showed up. When I contacted home gnome about this, they refunded the 38$ for that service but I am now out of 240$ with a pool that looks worst than it did prior to service. I have given them many opportunities to make it right but that hasn’t happened. I am new to this pool maintenance thing and have a tight budget. I had to make a major financial sacrifice to have the cleaning service and now I feel taken advantage of and out of time to have a clean pool for my child’s graduation party. I am still without circulation, answers, and time with a swamp as a pool.

The services provided have been excellent. Service techs are quick and efficient. I highly recommend them.

When there was a discrepancy with the billing after canceling the order, the Representative reviewed the case and found out that I was right. This was done within 10 minutes. My measure customer service is the actions taken when there is an issue. They deserve a 5 star rating for the timeliness and thorough knowledge of the situation,

At first I was disappointed in the Home Gnome process, as I had a few professionals who did not come on assigned day, no communication, or did not do what I expected. HOWEVER, I was finally assigned a professional who did amazing, showed up when scheduled, and did a great job! Very pleased - it was ean try the original frustration!

Home Gnome has been great for us since last year. We lost our lawn service unexpectedly and needed someone to take over our summer home in a small town which is not easy to do. Home Gnome came through for us with Dave and we couldn't be happier. This is Dave's second season and he was spot on last Wednesday to begin this year.

Chad is a Great Young Man who does Really Great Service mowing my lawn and weed whacking. Communication is Awesome and He is Prompt to show up and do the work. When yard needs extra mowing He comes out or if Grass is not very tall to mow I call and we setup a different day or month to Mow it. He shuts gate when he leaves. Price is Good & Good Company. I am Pleased

They sent out a Lawn Service they knew nothing about. An XLG Mexican woman on a huge ride on mower did 360 circles in my yard. My yard is to small for such a large piece of machinery. She was on her cell phone the entire time. I attempted to stop them and I did video the entire destruction of my yard. Gnome support apologized and said they would never send them and put in a claim. The claim came back as $35. Which was no wear close to the damage and what I need to pay to get my yard fixed. I allowed them to sent another team but they showed up at 7 am which is against my HOA. So I canceled and they still sent a different team 2 weeks later and I told them I canceled the service with Gnome over 2 weeks ago. They left and I was still charged. I attempted to contact support but they just give me a run around
