Poor instal lack of care
We had our windows installed 3 years ago by Hometec. We had problems from the start with fitters not turning up on time, lack of communication from the office and then a bad instal. They came back 3 times after to correct things but were not done correctly so we gave up. Since the windows were never installed properly we have had to live with wind blowing through gaps around the windows, trim coming off and the nail in the cofin after 3 years the bay windows started to leak. It has taken months of arguing, fitters then coming out for half days here and there and them still not completing the job properly so other fitters had to come out to correct the other fitters work. A complete lack of ownership and lack of communication, back chatting from staff and the owner. They have now repaired and re fitted the windows, however, have caused structural damage to our bay window which they are refusing to pay for. I have photographic evidence of all this. Use this company at your own risk... oh and they are not covered by fensa so no official checks are carried out on their work! (Re the comments below, they take no ownership for the fact I have video and photographic proof of the poorly installed windows, the proof the wind blew through the poorly fitted trim and lack of expanding foam around the windows. The fact they sub contract the work to fitters and they got rid of the fitters that installed our windows but wouldn't admit the poor work they did. The owner of this company is rude and unpleasant if you try and correct him with proof! Awful company and use at your own risk!!!) We have had to accept still the poorly fitted windows and at somepoint have to get them replaced by a decent company. Also we have never been provided with a fenca cert and on checking the fenca site we were never registered with them!!!

Great job!
We had windows, front door and cladding supplied and fitted to our Bungalow by Hometec.
The guys Stuart, Ryan and Tony were very polite and did a professional job, they were very tidy and were a pleasure to deal with.
We had one small issue with a mark on a window sash but that was replaced within days.
Would highly recommend.
Extremely Professional Company & Team
Thank you so much for the beautiful windows and doors Hometec fitted for us. From the Salesman, Surveyor and Fitting team (Stuart & Ryan) we have received exceptional service - absolutely BRILLIANT. So glad that we decided to purchase our windows and doors from Hometec, we wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
Thank You.
Great products and service
Fantastic door, great price. Bill, our fitter, was a miracle worker, especially with our dodgy door frame.
Highly recommended

These scumbags just conned my mother
These scumbags just conned my mother, who has Alzheimers, out of £170 over the telephone, following an unsolicited call, pushing a warranty she neither needed or wanted. I suspect they acquired her details from another similar dodgy outfit who defrauded her out of £700 a year ago.

When you look at a company on here
When you look at a company on here - you look at the service you get and the quality of work and that the staff are polite and good natured - However when you are driving on the A127 and a White van close up your backside and as he goes by shows you a w*@ker sign
that's something you should not do in a company van with Hometec all over it - Time 6.40am A127 Southend bound near fortune of War
Warranty denied
Was denied warranty for a conservatory that was built under the previous house owner. Initially I was told warranty is not transferable at all, after reading the fine print it seemed possible, but calling again they said this should have been done by solicitor before exchanging contracts. Seems bizarre to me, had no such issue with the warranty of the house itself (newbuild). In my opinion warranty is meant to guarantee that the product itself isn't faulty, so should not matter who owns it. Seems a sneaky way to avoid responsibility/cost.
Home- tec windows and doors
How refreshing was it to deal with home- tec windows and doors I had my whole house done with new windows and doors tom and Gary where a great team so professional a credit to the company and the finished product looks great just waiting for the decorative door handles to be put on the front door and panel
Windows arrived on time and a very efficient team
Well done I would recommend your company to anyone
