I received a tester product with a postcard type cardboard with very little info. I'm supposed to review said product for 2 weeks. Problem is I can't login into the website to review this product. I've tried several times to retrieve my pw and also tried to sign in/ login with absolutely no success. So now what, home tester club?

Is there anybody there?
Oh dear, trying to contact these people is a joke, yes, you do get to test products but trying to get someone to reply to your emails is terrible - it just doesn't happen! I've been invited to take part in a test that involves using a code on Amazon for the product, no matter how many times I try it just doesn't work, in the email you get with the code it invites you to contact them if you have any issues, I've given up! Come on Home Tester Club, this is a product I was really looking forward to testing!

When you receive products directly from them. All works well.
However over the last couple of months i have received items to be ordered on Amazon for a 100% discount. As a prime member I am fine with this as delivery is free.
However the codes never work on Amazon. I contacted Amazon this week with the new code I was sent to order Listerine. Amazon confirmed the code is not valid and can't be used. This is not the first time I have had this.
Further, to contact them is a nightmare. You cannot reply to their emails.
You can only send them a contact form message via their site. Sometimes they reply (with little help) or most of the time they do not reply.
So at the moment I have a number of products in my profile awaiting review, but I cannot even order them for delivery! Despite numerous contacts, noone bothers to reply or provide any help.

I have signed up for this, however I have not received a single product from this company. No matter how many times I answer the questions, I don't qualify for these products. You just wasting my time and data. It's all a lie don't bother with them.

I have been a member of Home Tester Club since 2022.
I have been fortunate to review 56 items, albeit mostly small items, for a honest, frank review in exchange
However... of late, there has been a surge of unchecked fake reviews, despute HTC cracking down on they way it originally push out its points ratings.
It is blatantly obvious to even an untrained person how the 'Top 20' manipulate the reviews, to boost their scores, in a vain attempt to be considered for more or larger value items. Personally, I am happy with what I get, but I am perplexed at how certain 'profiles' manage to achieve such high scores by the first day of each months reset (it appears one profile in particular own in excess of 30 pans by Tefal alone, based on their reviews. I'd need a 2nd or 3rd kitchen for all that).
Furthermore, despite my latest genuine reviews, or items sent for test, my 'score has not moved for nearly a year. When reported, this was apparently due to "older reviews falling off after a year..", but checking between reviews, the score doesn't move whatsoever. Some 'members' have impossibly high scores overall, despute only being a HTC nenber for less than 12 months.
It may be a bit far fetched at times and unsure how much money HTC get from the companies that want the reviews, but it all seems very shadowy at times. Dare I say corrupt!
Clearly nobody is checking for the validity of such obvious fake reviews, and ut appears these fake reviewers are benefited from it. (Buy if you dare complain, you get sidelined).

Home testers club sent me two cans of luncheon meats. With "A" label and no label can. No label can is tastier than with "A" label luncheon meat. The no label can meat is more tender than the other one. The color is more appetizing too. The "A" label can is just like meat with starch and flavoring. And it's saltier than the no label canned luncheon meat.

I can't manage to upload my video for my free product that I got. It says file too big. And then after that I shortened it. And now it's saying go into my phone settings. Because they can't receive my video. Also I can't get ahold of anyone in customer service. What good is that you have to be able to talk to someone?

I haven’t been chosen for anything big to test yet. However I have been involved in testing smaller products in exchange for honest reviews.I am very satisfied with home testing. At the end of the day you are getting a free product and I have gratitude for this .Not everyone can be chosen unfortunately.People are usually chosen for a reason too because of their activity and personal preference settings .Its also quiet useful for me as a customer to read other people’s reviews before I buy something. It helps give me insight whether something may be good or not .I came across this by accident when on maternity leave and I feel lucky to have done so .Its a slow progress but Rome wasn’t build in a day .I am going to continue doing my best and given honest reviews and I am confident that the bigger stuff will come my way.I would recommend this to other people.

I have been a member for several years. I have never recieved anything big from them. Although they do send out small appliances and such. I think they have a certain few people they chose every time.

Having been a member for several months, still have never picked to review anything. I only register for things that I would use. Maybe I just need to register for everything. I am having doubts about this site.

I have been testing products for several years and recently discovered Home Tester Club just 4 months ago. After 3 months of registering for several tests, I was finally matched with a home goods product to test and review. This was actually an item that needed updating in my home and I loved the new replacement. The online review process was user friendly and I experienced zero issues. Very soon after, I was matched to test another great product. This time it was a beauty product. I was absolutely thrilled with the product and have been using everyday since receiving. I have been getting a lot of questions on various social platforms and I can’t speak highly enough of this company.
I am so excited to be a part of the Home Tester Club US community and looking forward to my next product testing opportunity!

I am always getting items I can truly use at home. I like the secure question process. The site is great.

Never have gotten anything from home tester. Even though I engage and sign up.

I have been sent a few products to test and I really cannot complain. I prefer to test home and kitchen products so while the frequency has been a bit slower than I would have liked, I got some interesting products to test and I am still using them.
All in all, good experience!

I'm disappointed with Home Testers Club, I've been a member for a few years and Ive only received a handful of products. I use to log on daily, like reviews, post reviews even if I didn't receive the item from them, I engaged constantly because they say that gives you a better chance at being selected and still never got selected but I have friends who were less engaged, only logged in once a week if that and they constantly were receiving products. So I stopped, I'll log in occasionally now but don't get my hopes up. I'm using other product testing platforms that send me stuff because I do engage, I do my reviews.

I’ve been a Home Tester Club member since early 2023 and in that year and a half I’ve done 19 tests, which I think is pretty good! Usually 1 per month. The products have been great! I’ve had all sorts of things (but no high-end gadgets or homeware yet). Here are the ones I remember- kitchen roll, toilet roll, vitamins, face cream, serum, foundation, spot patches, diarrhoea tablets, hand cream, tissues, kids vitamins etc. I have loved it. The app is useful and easy to use too, which makes writing the reviews easy after you’ve finished testing. They give you plenty of time to test the products too.
HOWEVER- since I’ve turned 50 I’ve noticed a big change in how many product tests I’m invited to - nothing at all in the 6 months since I reached that magic age! Now it could be coincidence, but something tells me it isn’t and the selection algorithm is set up to find more younger people than older people. I can’t find anything that backs that up, but that is my guess.
So if you’re over 50 and still receiving products to test great - I hope they start again for me soon because I love it

Have been a long time Home Tester Club member. Have completed multiple reviews. Up until a few weeks ago I was fairly happy with my experience... HOWEVER, I recently completed a Mecca survey. I received an email on 26 June thanking me for my participation and advising that I had won a $50 Mecca gift card. As requested, I responded to the email, but I never heard from them again nor have I received the gift card. I emailed them multiple times. Have tried phoning them - no one ever answers the phone. I have also tried messaging them on Instagram and Facebook... surprise, surprise - no response.
Seems to be a total scam.
Keep this in mind if you are thinking about participating in their surveys. Pretty disappointing.
