Please don't waste your time and money…

Please don't waste your time and money dealing with this company!! I can see that my review comes right next to a glowing one, but trust what I say as being an honest account of how I was treated by this so called company. I waited weeks for the goods to arrive, and after the first time I contacted them to chase the order, was told, by Kim, that her husband, who deals with all the posting of the the orders, had 'forgotten' to post mine. He was going to go out specially to do this, even though it was his birthday that day. Kim also told me that by way of apology for my wait, she was enclosing a £2 voucher. Lo and behold, the goods arrived yesterday, in the most amateurish looking parcel you could imagine. The writing was childlike, there was no leaflet or instructions, and, worst of all, to add insult to injury, no £2 voucher! Kim lied to me about that. I am extremely disappointed with the way I have been treated. I received nothing but stalling tactics from them, and now I can see why. I tried tracking it through the post office, and was told that the tracking number I had been given was nowhere in their system. I get the impression that the goods hadn't been put in the post at all, and that at this point, someone hurriedly posted them off to me. The IDEA of the product is great, but the product is not. Please think more than twice before wasting your hard earned cash with these people, and buy your goods elsewhere.I fear for the future success of the company if this is the best they can do.

I am astonished at your review, to be honest :(
Kelvin (my cousin) did indeed forget and did indeed go to the post office on his birthday to send your order because he had made the mistake, which we were very sorry about. When the business owner Kim emailed you personally explaining what had happened and expressing how sorry she was about this you were very understanding and said that these things happen.
Kim gave you the £2 voucher code in her first email to you along with her apology, it was never intended to be sent with the parcel because we are a zero waste company and even send our instructions by email.
This is a copy and paste of what Kim wrote to you in that email, I hope this jogs your memory and that you can see your voucher code at the end

"Hello Maria,

Thank you for your email. I am so sorry! I've just checked on your order because I thought that it was taking longer than usual to be delivered and I've discovered that my husband didn't post your order by accident (he is in charge of sending orders to our customers). I am getting him to send your order tomorrow even though it's his birthday. I really am so sorry about this and I hope that it doesn't put you off shopping with us again. Please accept a £2 Gift Card as an apology - use code 2SPECIAL at your checkout.

Kim included a personally handwritten note of apology in the parcel, I'm astonished again that it matters what her handwriting is like.

It was myself that emailed you back when you forwarded us the email reply you received from the Spanish post office Correos and I let you know that you had made an error in your tracking code when you emailed it to Correos - you had written CB at the end but all parcels sent from the UK have GB at the end.

I am very glad that your package has arrived because we have lived in Spain ourselves and some of our parcels didn't even arrive from Correos. If you would like to use an express delivery service in future please do let us know, however the courier service does charge £17 for delivery from the UK to Spain for that service. We will review our delivery methods to Spain, but unfortunately it might have to be that we don't send orders to Spain anymore because we cannot risk the reputation of our company on the slowness of Correos.

Excellent product and excellent customer care

I purchased the bamboo pads and they are excellent. So comfortable and soft. I use them for slight bladder incontinence and they are very efficient. It’s so easy to wash them through each day, and they dry quickly. In addition the customer service from this family run company is second to none. It’s very refreshing to receive a personal thank you for one’s custom and I will definitely use this company again.

So disappointed with the "Reusable Food…

So disappointed with the "Reusable Food Wrap"! It just does not stick to glass bowls, etc, no matter how much stretching. The product arrived covered in plastic - hardly eco-friendly. When I complained about their product, received no apology, no suggestion of a refund. The only communication I received that they were about to send my order. I had already received it and wished I hadn't ...

The reason I ask is because I have been replying to your emails and I have also re-sent your instructions to the email address that you emailed us from but it seems that you aren't receiving them?

Our reusable food wraps definitely do work, we use them ourselves and have many happy customers, but there is a technique and a lot of customers benefit from our instructions which includes a video, photos and written explanations. I have noticed that in the subject line [SPAM] is written in your reply to us so I wonder if your email account is flagging all of our responses as spam? Please could you email us from another email account that will receive our replies or add our email address to your safe list? Our email address is info@honestmiracle.com

Here's a copy and paste of my most recent reply to your email which I sent on 19th of April -
"Hello Halcyon,

I've searched and I can't find your other email, but thank you so much for writing to us again so that I can help you. Did you receive your instructions? We send them by email as part of our zero waste commitment, but sometimes they do go to customers junk folders. Please could you check and let me know if you would like me to re-send your instruction email? It definitely does stick, but there is a technique to it, the instruction email has a video, photos and written information which I am sure will help you to stick it.

The thick backing that is removed from the wrap is to store it on, but you can also stick it to itself or even on your kitchen tiles which the owners husband likes to do with their reusable food wraps. The storage square is indeed recyclable and the cellophane is compostable. If you are not able to do this at home we are always happy for customers to send the packaging to us and we will always compost or recycle. Anything that cannot be composted or recycled is reused in line with health and hygiene regulations.

Nothing eco-friendly or friendly about this company

Absolutely dreadful company to deal with. I placed an order, then was harrassed by a "bot" on Facebook Messenger chasing me to place my order. I asked twice for the messages to stop, pointing out that the order had been placed and was then told by a customer service adviser that they were not able to stop those messages (not very reassuring). When I pointed this out, I got no response, not even a simple sorry. My two items both arrived in wasteful plastic packaging (oh the irony) and one was shipped from China. So much for family run eco friendly business. Will never use them again.

Terrible customer service avoid at all costs!

This company owner's response to my extremely poor experience with her company is typical of her approach to any customer who has a legitimate problem with their goods, noted by others on this site. She is incorrect in stating that I was rude to her, in fact I was friendly and polite. Despite my legitimate complaint about the goods and the fact that I was offering to return them in pristine condition for refund, she persisted in saying that she could not refund as they were 'food products' (which is like calling an unused plate still in its original packaging a 'food product': frankly ridiculous!). In the end, it was left to my bank to refund me. This is one company which deals with any customer complaints by blaming the customer for their company's shortcomings! Avoid!

Don't Bother

This is one of the least helpful and most rude companiesI have dealt with.
In November I ordered some re-usable, BPA free covers for food. They were delivered about two weeks later and since then I have been trying to figure out how to use them as they do not appear to work properly. I emailed the company, but got ignored, so I posted on Facebook.

Since then, I have had a barrage of sarcastic comments. Apparently they are on holiday and cannot possibly email instructions. However, they have plenty of time to post untruthful and rude comments on Facebook! Two of these covers cost £23, so they are not cheap and having bought them a month before Christmas and originally emailed them over two weeks ago, I would have thought I had given them sufficient time to email instructions. Apparently not!

Thank you for taking the time to write a 1 star review about us on Christmas Eve after I told you I was definitely still on holiday from work on Christmas Eve and would get back to you on 26th December.

You ordered at 8.11pm on the 29th of November. I got the order in the morning and proceeded to process it along with the other hundreds of orders. It does say on our website that it can take 7-14 days for delivery as we are a small business with just one person running the business. Your order was processed and delivered within 8 days as shown on your order tracking number. I also have a physical disability, constant pain, 2 young children and I am single handledly running and growing a business at the busiest time of the year.
You emailed when I was on my only time off from work to sort Christmas for my young family after I’d helped to sort my lovely customers Christmas’ (every customer was informed of this holiday by email and on social media).
You got my automatic out of office reply informing you of when I was on holiday from and when I would return. I then took time out of my holiday with my young children to reply personally to let you know that I would re-send instructions for your products when I returned to work, these instructions get sent out automatically after each purchase, but can land in customers junk folders so we do ask customers to add our email address to their safe list.

You then publicly commented on our Facebook page on and received a pleasant reply from me when I took time out of my only time off with my family to write back to you personally again.

You then publicly commented on our Facebook page again on the 23rd of December, the day before Christmas Eve, telling everyone not to bother with our company, that we don’t care about our customers and you attempted to blackmail me in to working on my only time off to spend with my family, I replied sharing with you a list of the hundreds of things I do that prove I do indeed care about my customers, yet again taking time out of my holiday but I then told you I would not be responding until after Christmas and wished you a Happy Christmas. You also asked how I could respond to your Facebook comments and not re-send your instructions, you were told that it cannot be done on my mobile phone but I could reply to comments on my mobile phone (whilst feeding my baby, by the way).

Your instructions have been re-sent today as I am now back at work. I will now be working every day until next Christmas. I will also be taking time off next Christmas to spend with my amazing family and I will not be blackmailed in to working through my only time off then, either. Our reusable wraps do indeed work, we use them ourselves, everything at Honest Miracle is used and loved by our family and we have plenty of happy customers and positive reviews.

Life is short, please make the most of quality time with your loved ones, Christmas is a time for family and recharging your batteries for the new year ahead, not for writing 1 star reviews because the small business owner took a bit of time off to spend with her young family and didn’t bow down to anyones demands to work on their only time off.

PS... I love my wonderful customers. It is kind of a shame for our business that they are spending time with their family instead of writing reviews because then we would have all 5 stars instead of a 1 star. But it’s all good, my conscience is clear.
