Honeyfund was a quick, convenient way for people to give gifts, especially those who regretfully couldn't attend. My only suggestion is to make an option where the person giving has the option to pay... See more

Honeyfund made it possible for me and my wife to get monetary gifts from our friends and family that went directly to our honeymoon. This app is user friendly and very easy to use

SCAM! No way in getting the complete money you've been gifted for your honeymoon without paying fees! Please do not use this website at all costs!

Honeyfund was a fun, customizable, and easy registry option for folks who are already established and don’t need household items. I would recommend it to anyone!

Honeyfund was super easy to use, we loved that we could create our own little website that we could personalize and family could check out! We have already mentioned to other family members to use Honeyfund when they get married! :)

I tried to give a wedding gift through the couple's registry/honeyfund.com but never got a confirmation so it appeared to not go through. I started over because the wedding is now this weekend. I completed my transaction, verified my credit card, the cash gift disappeared from my Honeyfund cart and transaction appeared complete. Amex says the transaction is "Pending". Honeyfund customer support finds no transaction linked to my email (the only email I use) so I can't do anything until the transaction is resolved by Amex. Then I will dispute it and give the couple cash directly. Hoenyfund's site seems to have issues and there are too many layers for customer support to be helpful. In response to my email to them, I got the same automated reply sent to my inbox 5 times in the last 10 minutes so now I'm getting spammed also. I've been reading reviews of cash gifts being difficult or impossible for the couple to retrieve so will avoid this site in the future. I've never had this problem with Zola.
I feel like this company is intentionally misleading. They tell you at setup that you can transfer the gifts you receive to your bank account for an additional fee, but they bury in the rules and FAQ that you have to intentionally set it up that way from the start. Now I have $3000 in gifts towards my honeymoon that I can't use because I can only redeem them for gift cards at places like clothing stores and fandango/TopGolf. Not even a Visa gift card that i can use on my trip. I am livid and really feel mislead.

For us it made perfect sense as a registry, since we are settled and need very little in terms of household items! thought the whole process was very smooth and we were able to register for a fun trip to London and enjoy a number of experiences - our guests liked that they could share in our honeymoon!

DO NOT USE. you can’t redeem your money out unless it’s through gift cards. There is a frustratingly annoying cap on Venmo - $1500 at a time every 3-4 days and $10k total. So you basically get a bunch of dumb gift cards like wayfair you need to transfer to and they all have caps. Huge scam. I hate it.

So far so good with the Honeyfund app and website! I love the ease of use and ability for my family to help out on honeymoon expenses, even being out of town!

Honeyfund is amazing! We loved being able to create a beautiful page for honeymoon contributions where guests can choose to pay for different activities. Love that guests can add messages to their gifts. At first, I couldn't figure out how to transfer the money to Venmo. The staff were so helpful and quick to respond to help me out!

Everything went smoothly until after the wedding, we requested our funds be deposited to PayPal before the wedding and it was, to my new wife's PayPal account. After the wedding we had some residual funds available, we requested the funds but didn't receive them initially, they stated PayPal was having an issue. PayPal did a trace and they have not attempted to deposit the funds into that account. After threats and several emails, we were made aware that the funds were deposited into my PayPal account, which hadn't been used since 2017, even though we requested it be deposited into hers. I'm not sure why. We did receive our money, albeit more than 10 days later.

Honeyfund has helped my fiance and I spread the word of our honeymoon plans . It allowed us to choose a theme that was very close to our wedding dream and the layout of our website was easily accessible and our family members loved the website 💕 definitely the best website ever

I ended up having to spend hours on the phone to avoid our gifted money to not be treated like business income. After that I got a late gift and was never able to cash it out. Their support staff was not equipped to troubleshoot these issues. Would recommend avoiding this platform if possible.
Nice and easy to use, makes it easy to create a place for family and friends to go to if they wish to send you a gift. Rather than just gifting money, knowing what that money was spent on is a great idea.
Customer service (shoutout to Sonja) has also been great, replied very promptly and helped me with my request straight away.

We used Honeyfund as the registry for our wedding. It was really great for us. All we wanted was cash to pay for our trip--no gift cards needed. I transferred funds to my Venmo in phases--I think it's a $2,000 limit per transaction. From Venmo I moved the funds to my bank account. We did not have any problems with this and I didn't get any complaints from friends about using this site.
My only complaint is that the login for the website is glitchy, usually requiring a few attempts to get into it.

The customer care / service team is unmatched! They have been so attentive and helpful and kind throughout the set up period of my account. I’m so happy I went with HoneyFund instead of a traditional registry.

I had a great experience with Honeyfund! Got my money fast every time from Venmo and customer service was fast. I would recommend.
