This should be a minus. Staying at Premier Inn and no signs or advice to pay for parking. Received parking fines for two nights. Appealed and was reduced to£15 which l paid under extreme protest. Exto... See more

I parked at location 36128 today payed for 4 hours parking only to find your machine tire is 1hour behind what the actual time is , so it said 7.26 am but in reality it was 8.26 .but rather than take a risk i left at 11.46 ! Would really appreciate an explanation or at the very least an apology?
Paid for parking, still got fined anyway
Hi,
I am contacting you to confirm that I have paid the parking charge for reference HP5223049.
However, I want to formally state that the original parking fee was paid at the time of use. If this happens again, I highly encourage your team to check the security cameras and transaction logs at the payment machines before issuing a penalty. The error lies with your system, not my compliance.
Please update your records to show this matter is now resolved and closed.
Treatment of a cancer sufferer going for treatment
Trying to resolve our cars not being recognised on entry or departure - done it now to both our cars at the same site As a cancer sufferer going to regular treatment it’s causing a huge problem - horizon Head office refused point blank to help ! So we are now involving the press and our MP .
Disgraceful company
Disgraceful company. We stayed 1 night at Premier Inn ,Eastleigh. We entered car registration as required on i pad. Came back from holiday to a parking fine. Our appeal has been rejected despite evidence of our stay. Impossible to prove you entered you registration on i pad. Premier Inn customer service proving rather unhelpful
Horizon parking needs investigating
This company is a disgrace.
Daughters friend dropped her off, didn't get out of car and left within 2 minutes. Our residents parking allows drop offs of up to 15 minutes.
Received a fine a month later, 14 days to pay but the payment date was 1 day after the letter was received.
This is not the first time our residents parking has had issues where Horizon have incorrectly fined people. Its a nightmare to actually appeal and talk to someone too and cause undue wasted time and stress due to their complete and utter incompetence.

This company are an absolute disgrace
This company are an absolute disgrace. I used the car park to take my daughters for breakfast at Beefeater and wasn't informed about the registration input.
After receiving a parking charge, I disputed, sent in not only proof of my booking but also an email sent by a manager of the hotel restaurant to confirm I was there and it was their error, and my appeal was unsuccessful.
Just a money grabbing, hideous company that I hope go into administration.
Another scummy parking provider
Charged £57 for parking at premier inn due to not checking car in, despite it being free to use for customers and no one at premier inn advising this was required. Another group of leeches who seem to feel entitled to your money 👎
1 star is all I can give
1 star is all I can give , I would give them zero if I could. Parked at the Hilton in Bath , tried to register to pay , the app would not accept my card.
Error message every time.
Tried to pay on line and had problems with that , finally managed to pay after a very stressful 30 mins .
The very same issue again this morning.
Worried we will get a fine even though we tried to pay - the payment system is simply not fit for purpose .
Don’t introduce a system that does not work .
Keep all your receipts and emails just in case they try and issue you with a fine .
I am surprised this company makes any money or is allowed to operate !
Sadly no opportunity for a zero star
Sadly no opportunity for a zero star. Claims that I have a parking charge in a car park that is completely FREE OF CHARGE. Sent letters to an address I havent lived at for 2 and half years and so the first I hear of this topic is almost one year later when they get the dcbl involved. This charge is obviously incorrect and Ive had to pay £125 without any evidence of me doing wrong .
Regulate asap
If I could give this 0, I would.
Appealed a parking charge, submitted clear and obvious evidence that the parking was paid for at the time, yet I’m still having to provide further evidence of my stay at the relevant travelodge.
It is obvious to me that they are delaying and frustrating the process as much as possible in order to try and get me to capitulate and pay a parking fine (noting that I PAID FOR THE PARKING IN THE FIRST PLACE).
These guys are complete cowboys. The government must intervene and regulate this despicable company. The FCA would (and should) have a field day.
In addition, I have been told (via email) that they are issuing a new reference number via post. Why on earth can this not be done via email given you have already emailed me?! This just delays and frustrates the process further.
What an absolute joke.
Parked at Porlock Weir and was puzzled…
Parked at Porlock Weir and was puzzled to see the instruction 'pay on departure'. I wondered why, had a nice time at Porlock Weir, then 2 weeks later I learned why they tell you to pay on leaving unlike all other app paid carparks....they know there's a good chance you'll forget and they can increase their profit with a fat fine!!! Beware.
Rubbish company to complement rubbish…
Rubbish company to complement rubbish service. I accidentally made a parking payment to them and I never used the service I requested for a refund and they refused. How evil? Do better!!
Parking included at premier inn
Parking included at premier inn Norwich. Visiting a sick family member. Very stressful time, get home to low and behold £114 attempted fine by these crooks HORRIZON PARKING. We registered our vehicle registration with the iPad at reception at Premier Inn got our whole stay. We are currently appealing this ludicrous charge. Another vulture in our society.
Beware of Horizon Parking!!!!
I stayed at the Premier Inn Chippenham for 1 night, I noted the new signs regarding parking, however, as parking at Premier Inn is free, and having entered my car registration in the reception area for the duration of my stay, the last thing I expected 2 weeks later was a fine for illegal parking.
I contacted Horizon by phone, to be told they didn't know whether parking was free at this Premier Inn and to submit the evidence of my stay, the booking reference, along with supporting documents.
I had 14 days from the date of issue to pay a reduced fee of £25 or it rose to £100.
I didn't receive the letter until 7 days after the issue date and the next morning I was going on holiday for 9 days.
No option but to pay up .
Shocking way to treat customers who use the Premier Inn .
Robbed me 125 pound for 1 night stay…
Robbed me 125 pound for 1 night stay don’t stay at premier in bath road
Or use horizon
SEND FAKE FINES
sent me a fine for being in a parking area for 21 minutes in a local council sports centre in Bournemouth. The parking terms are 2 hours free! Challenged, rejected. challenged again and heard nothing back, three years later receive a letter from dcbl debt recovery, utterly disgusting and will challenge in small courts.
The company is exactly like the Gestapo…
The company is exactly like the Gestapo and fined me for being in a car park for 15 minutes I wasn’t aware it was for permit holders!
How on earth has this company convinced…
How on earth has this company convinced major retailers like Sainsbury's to use them as a payment service? Their app is completely bugged and we got a ticket while (unsuccessfully) trying to pay for parking. They also advertise themselves as "Horizon PaybyPhone" instead of "Horizon Spaces" or "Horizon Parking", which makes them look just like the company "PayByPhone", adding even more delays and complications. If you see a parking sign with "Horizon" on it, go somewhere else for your shopping.
Parked at Tesco Feltham
Parked at Tesco Feltham and received a parking fine for staying over the apparent allotted time of 1.5 hrs (15minutes over!) has anybody of my age (71) at Horizon tried to do their weekly shop and fill their car at the onsite garage within this time period without any leeway. This will in my case be the last visit to Feltham Tesco, I will use my local Sainsburys or Asda instead. Horizon are a complete bandit uncaring organisation who should not exist. Parking attendants used to have discretion, not these robot using criminals who extort money from innocent customers. Tesco have lost a lifelong customer.
