How on earth has this company convinced…

How on earth has this company convinced major retailers like Sainsbury's to use them as a payment service? Their app is completely bugged and we got a ticket while (unsuccessfully) trying to pay for parking. They also advertise themselves as "Horizon PaybyPhone" instead of "Horizon Spaces" or "Horizon Parking", which makes them look just like the company "PayByPhone", adding even more delays and complications. If you see a parking sign with "Horizon" on it, go somewhere else for your shopping.

Parked at Tesco Feltham

Parked at Tesco Feltham and received a parking fine for staying over the apparent allotted time of 1.5 hrs (15minutes over!) has anybody of my age (71) at Horizon tried to do their weekly shop and fill their car at the onsite garage within this time period without any leeway. This will in my case be the last visit to Feltham Tesco, I will use my local Sainsburys or Asda instead. Horizon are a complete bandit uncaring organisation who should not exist. Parking attendants used to have discretion, not these robot using criminals who extort money from innocent customers. Tesco have lost a lifelong customer.

Got a ticket for a 1 hour stay

Got a ticket for a 1 hour stay, disputed the ticket twice but they won't accept the appeal. I broke no rules and didn't overstay, I pulled into the car park to check my tires as something didn't feel right. I had a flat tire and changed it with limited tools only to recive a fine a week later. They won't provide me with any rules that I broke and it doesent give a reason on the letter. Ive asked for multiple explanations but I dont get any awnsers im just ignored and told to provide evidence I was using the store. The store was closed and I gave them my reason as to why im there and now they want proof. They have proof of the wheels being changed on photos of me entering and leaving but they won't listen to anything I have to stay and I feel like its one big scam.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking . Don’t park anywhere managed by horizon if you are a disabled driver , you are governed by their rules and not the national rules so you will not be allowed to stay for more than an hour. They just catch thousands this way

Stay at Premier Inn and get a car park fine from Horizon Parking

Immediately on arrival at Premier Inn Cheadle I registered my car - I am familiar with routine having stayed 2 a year for past 10 years.
Some weeks later I received 2 parking charges from Horizon Parking, after sending a copy of my Premier Inn booking reference / prepaid invoice I thought that would end matter.
Wrong, my "appeal" was dismissed. A letter to Premier Inn has received no acknowledgement and their "Guest Relations" has failed to respond in their stated timescale.
Now I have completed a POPLA appeal and written to my MP.
What a performance !!

I have to differ from many commentators…

I have to differ from many commentators here as I was also fined for overstaying in a Tesco Extra Car Park. Now the fault was mine as a 74 year old pensioner I'd assumed all car parks were the same as my local ASDA (3 hours) and I stayed 2.5 hours in Tesco as it was a multi-business franchise, with cafe, hairdresser, nail bar, charity shop etc and us old codgers meet there for shop & chat. Just not viable in the 1 hour permitted. Anyhow, paid the fine with a note 'fair cop' and apology and they sent me a 'request for evidence of appeal'... But I didn't appeal! Will shop at Morrisons in future so fine will be recovered from Tesco eventually in lost business.

if i could give 0 stars i would. Their systems don’t work. We have them at our local small sainsburys and they keep charging people for parking there for 24 hours when they haven’t becuase they live here and park at their houses. They need to fix their system and turn it off until it’s actually fixed. they are sharks

Was given a fine for £40 for parking…

Was given a fine for £40 for parking for 43 minutes at Tesco in Slough. I was given it for ‘not validating’ my parking, in spite of the fact that Tesco’s till did not give me a receipt.

The letter was also sent to my address almost 2 weeks after this occurred.

Do not shop at Tesco - you are rewarding this behaviour.

Pure criminals

Pure criminals, they double dipped me,meaning I went into Tesco twice in 1 day, they sent me a ticket for over staying, 1st time was around 11.30 am 2nd time was around 17,30 pm . Sent me a picture of me arriving 1st time but not leaving 1st time, then a picture of me leaving 2nd time, but not arriving. Clever little scum! I can't contest it as I paid cash and don't have receipts or use a store discount card. £40 fine for visiting Tesco twice in a day. Tesco should be ashamed of themselves using these criminals.

M & S PARKING AT LONGBRIDGE

M & S PARKING AT LONGBRIDGE, BIRMINGHAM. Today, I received a parking ticket. They are claiming I arrived at 1.26 pm on the Friday and parked overnight, leaving at 8.58 am on Saturday. I visited on the Friday and again on Saturday morning. Of course I wasn't there all night, in fact during this period I'm shown on the CCTV going in and out of a car park at a gym in Bromsgrove. I mentioned this today to a security man at Longbridge. He told me that dozens of people have received the same! My car was photographed while driving along the approach road to and from the car park. I've told Horizon I won't be paying. I desperately want them to take me to court. Fortunately, through my collaboration with the media, I can give them more publicity than they ever dreamed p0ssible.
