My 86 year old vulnerable mother in law was looking for the evri website as her parcel had not been delivered. Somehow she came across this website who offered her a “solution” to her question! All the while she thought she was messaging Evri directly, paying Evri £1 for the answer to her lost parcel, she was actually speaking with Howley who quickly obtained her card details from her, debited £1, set up a subscription and debited another £25 immediately 😡. Absolutely shocking!
SCAMMERS PREYING ON VULNERABLE ELDERLY PEOPLE!!!! You ought to be ashamed of yourselves!

After agreeing for Howly to take a minimum payment of £1 it attempted to take a far higher fee which was fortunately blocked by my bank - they were aware of this site. My bank later advised this site attempted four more completely unauthorised transactions all of which they blocked.
Ignore all reviews except the 1* reviews which for good reason are advising DO NOT USE THIS SITE

I was in the middle of a work call when my headset stopped working. The expert quickly guided me through testing the audio output path, resetting the device recognition, and re enabling the microphone permissions. The issue was fixed within minutes and I did not have to interrupt the call completely. It was extremely helpful and time saving.

Following my initial connection following a Google search I was told that a refundable AU$1 was required - I have no recollection that I agreed to a monthly fee of AU$75 being taken from my Pay Pal Account every month if I continued. I believe I did not receive any advice on my initial search for a solution to a problem I can not recall now and I would not have agreed to any monthly payment of that amount for any possible problems I might have in the future. However, I was surprised to see AU$75 taken from my PayPal Account on 3rd Nov and 3rd Dec. However, I have noted an apparent refund of AU$ 38 on 3 Dec still to show up in my bank account. I have contacted Howly about the refund of a further AU$112 and I am awaiting a response. I have also cancelled any further payments from Howly via my PayPal Account.

I tried to make a payment stated as £1.00 for 1 month of support on a medical-related phone app. This was on a sponsored link as a search result. The payment was declined by my bank. I repeated the attempt. Declined again. After that I noticed at the bottom of the Howly.com web page I was on that I would have been charged £24.08. Two attempted charges of £1.00 were made on my account, both declined, plus a declined charge of £24.08. The payment form for the app support appeared to be part of the Howly.com web site i.e. I do not know where the payment information went. I will not be trying to use the service again, and I advise anybody considering a payment to Howly.com to be extremely careful to see who they are dealing with. I now also see that other people have report similar experiences on Trust Pilot.

Howly is a scam. I was looking for customer support for match.com. They said to pay $1 which is refundable in order to chat with a live representative. Then when I saw my bank statement I say that in addition to being charged $1, I was charged $38. I contacted their support and they are like we will give you a partial refund of $20. I am absolutely livid about this. These people are scammers. They were not able to solve the problem I had with match.com

Okay they’ve said they will give me a refund, have also today received an email of apology and further confirmation that the money will be refunded. This is good news but I do think their website should make it very clear that a monthly subscription is payable. Anyway matter resolved to my satisfaction.
