We’ve been ghosted on email and phone for months, so I guess all we can do is write a review. The hatch was slightly too small for the gap when they installed it, and as a result the latch they put on doesn’t quite reach and engage. The door has dropped open quite a lot, particulary dangerous given it is at the top of the stairs. Ideally they would have done it right the first time or offered to come and make it right. They have been ignoring multiple emails and phone calls for months.

Plus points:--
1. Installation within a week of contact.
2. Prompt response to email enquiry.
3. Polite and professional.
4. Reasonable price.
5. Quality installation.
6. Ladders have a 10 year warranty.
7. Installer cleaned up after installation.
8. Charged the quoted price.

Minus points:--

The 2 guys turned up when they said , at 8 am. Dust sheeted the area. Measured the room to confirm the installation could go ahead, they were clean and tidy during the work. The ladder was demonstrated when finished and is easy to use, very safe and sturdy. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Quick to reply to quote requests and good communication. Provided reasonable quote for the work. Completed loft boarding on time and cleaned up afterwards.

I have had a couple of jobs completed with this company so have had a few interactions with different members of the team and each and everytime they have consistantly exceeded expectations.
The quality of work on each job carried out has been finished to a high standard and also both teams worked efficiently and left the place tidy and took all the rubbish with them.
Also a special shout out to Ben in the office for great customer care. Huge thank you to you and your team 😊✨️

I not satisfied boarding job. Up and down boarding level and many part open.lader not fixed properly that’s why my wife fall down but luckily nothing happened that’s why I request them to remove. I pay £1600. They remove boarding and refund £1000 after lots of call,messages and email. Loose money and time and getting stressed.i have many pictures of boarding.

Would definitely recommend ideal loft ladders! Really helpful and friendly team. Including Mark who came over to give us a quote and the team who did the work for us. All were very professional, the boarding has been done to a high standard and looks great.

Fantastic company.
Beyond my expectations from start to finish. They care about customer satisfaction.
They are amiable and polite people. At one point, I wanted to make some. changes to the original plan. Mark and his team were patient and made all the changes in a reasonable price.

Quality work, huge improvement in loft space after the team removed old insulation and tons of junk, put down an enormous thick layer of new insul and then boarded on top creating great storage. Fair price when compared with competitors. Very hard working and super polite team.

I would highly recommend Ideal Loft Ladders for any work you’re considering. Their contact/customer service is second to none and their workmanship compliments this.
We were originally booked for 10m squared boarding, loft ladder, LED tube light and a door for the hatch. Thomas advised the door was not required as ours was fit for purpose. Thomas was then flexible to do 20m squared for us upon review with him. A colleague even delivered some more boarding to achieve this. Thomas was tidy and very efficient

The loft insulation itself was done well and the boarding looks great. My partner and I were delighted with the work carried out until that evening when it became apparent that the works have caused issues with our electrics. We have called and emailed numerous times regarding this and nobody and never had a response or anyone answer our calls.

We now unfortunately will have to pull up all the boarding and insulation so an electrician can take a look at what is

The service was excellent. Ronnie and Dean were fantastic and delivered great workmanship. They arrived ahead of time, were very pleasant and courteous, patiently explained what they were to do and left the area clean. They even moved my stuff, asking for permision first, in the loft carefully and without making a fuss. I will definitely use the company again, and highly recommend. Im a very satisfied customer.

Having researched a number of options i chose ideal loft ladders following good reviews here, to fit raised boarding in our new home loft with a ladder. The service has been excellent... shaun and Shaun arrived early having let me know they were ahead of time, were very efficient, courteous careful clean and tidy. Allowed time for me to review completed work, explained ladder workings etc. Overall very satisfied with them and would thoroughly recommend ...
